Hyatt Regency Miami reviews
16The beds suck. One of them had wires going through the bed inside, so we all slept on the floor because of the poor bed design. The food was good but VERY expensive. It was fun exploring floor 3 and floor 4, but if you arent a fan of creepy things, do NOT go there. The water from the shower when evaporated almost smells like a wet fart. We asked for a towel once and finally got one in 30 mins. Not recommended.
If you go to this hotel be careful about forgetting personal items in the room, they simply will not return to your hands. I forgot there a gold chain that I had with me more than 30 years ago, it was a beautiful memory of my father, the day after leaving the hotel I called to ask if my chain was in (lost and found) and no, gentlemen, no one heard from me jewel. The people who do the cleaning simply do not take to receive what you leave in the room. I will never return there again and I do not recommend them

The hotel has very nice clean rooms every time we come here. It is one of my favorite hotels in Miami! They are always very friendly and the hotel is within walking distance of a lot of great places to eat and shopping.
Room is super outdated and disappointing, gym was also pretty mediocre. The lobby, facilities, and service was great but the double queen room should really be better.
Rooms are underwhelming, but we did get complementary water bottles as it was our anniversary. Although the person taking the reservation on phone gave us high expectations for the hotel room. Service was great, they go above and beyond for you.
Only difference between a king suite and king room is the size of the room, everything else is the same. So don’t overpay if you don’t need the bigger room
We did like the cast from mobile option for the TV. Much easier to use the TV with that.
I stay here all the time because this hotel is close to miami heat close to bayside downtown close to restaurants and boat rides not too far from cruise ports the rooms are remodeled restaurant down stairs next door to James L night, Center.valet is expensive $50 a night for guests but this is a awesome location friendly staff tips from cynthiatravelingqueen agency LLC
Encounter live bugs twice in 4 days, at two different rooms! The front desk promised to compensate with credit, but receive nothing one month later! No reply by either email or phone!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hiatt Regency Miami Hotel. The impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and stunning views made it an unforgettable experience. Special thanks to Chris Johnson, whose exceptional hospitality and attention to detail added a personal touch to my visit. The spacious rooms, delectable dining options, and convenient location to explore Downtown Miami further contributed to the overall excellence of this hotel.
So the overall stay here was pretty disappointing. The lobby was really nice and the staff was nice too but the rooms really need to be updated. The bathrooms are very tiny and old. The sinks are seperate from the actual bathroom. Something I wouldn't expect from a high-end hotel. The rooms were larger but yet the beds were so tiny and not the most comfortable. They also only allow one pillow per person. We asked for more but were told if they gave us more they could only give us 2 eventhough we had 4 people in our room. Also each room had a balcony but the doors are sealed off so you can't use them. We were staying on the 5th floor so I'm not sure if every floor needs updating but I'm assuming it's the same since the front desk told us every bathroom has the same configuration. The location is very nice. Walkable to restraunts, wholefoods and stores like CVS. Also the valet staff was awesome and quick. I normally love the Hyatt but for a Regency it's lacking pretty bad. The Hyatt places are way more upscale then this location.
My room seemed clean, however, the rooms need updating very old-school design with the partitions. Also, the balconies do not open. I don't know what happened in the past that made them seal shut the balconies. The view is beautiful from the higher floor rooms. Please modernize the rooms Hyatt.
We arrived early and were able to check in before 4 PM. The staff is professional and helpful.
Room: Cleaned well. Some modern updates, but nothing luxurious. There aren't any balcony rooms. The large door walls used to be balcony doors. They're sealed shut now. The king-size bed is comfortably firm yet plush. There are plenty of pillows. Closet space is plentiful. The bathroom is nice. I like the vanity/sink being in a separate room from the toilet and bathtub/shower.
Location: Walking distance to Brickell and Bayside Marketplace is within 10 minutes of the hotel. The exterior noise tends to be noisy, but not unbearable. The hotel is aware so they provide a white noise machine and earplugs. I didn't use either of those and slept just fine.
Dining: Riverview Bar & Grille is delicious. There's another eatery/marketplace available inside as well.
Nice hotel in heart of Miami. Close to Bayside!
Self park 20$ but if you wanna do Valet it’s 50$ a day!
You just have to go up some stairs and find the elevators as well as remember to pay before you leave each time. We had a lovely king suite room with an amazing view on the 17th floor. This hotel is perfect if you are attending a concert at the James L. Knight Center as it is connected to the building. There is a Whole Foods across the street for easy access groceries. The room was very clean and spacious.
THEFT
Some AirPods were stolen from our room and the hotel is not responsible for anything.
Right on the Miami River and just minutes from dozens of restaurants in all directions. We stayed for New Year's Eve, walked to dinner, back to freshen up and back out to a short walk to party in Bicentennial park.
Good location and the room is very big. But there is an unpleasant smell in the room; it’s very noisy outside, and the bay view is blocked by a high-rise building. The shower is not working properly, and it’s difficult to pull out the switch. The male guest next to us kept trying to open the connecting door at midnight, which is very scary. Overall it’s not a good experience staying at this hotel.
