Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area reviews
11Great little natural shrub area. Quick walk and a nice place to just get out side for a few minutes.
Quite relaxing scenery. If you really pay attention you can see the animals mentioned in the information pamphlet.
This small preserve is awesome to ride your mountain bikes on and do your walking in the sugar Sand to help build your ankles up and there is plenty of parking along with a restroom and they have checkpoints of all the different types of flowers turtles non-poisonous snakes are plants trees type of sand excluding the sugar Sand so if you have not been it's time to go plus it's free. PS make sure you bring water.
One of few places you can consistently see Florida scrub Jays in the area. Plenty of unique herp too. Scrub lizard and 6 lined racerunner were abundant. The giant lookout boardwalk and towers create a natural cooling effect with their shade causing the scrub areas to always have a little breeze during the day. Bring your binoculars and enjoy an incredible view from atop the three story high platform. The lower deck and main path are wheelchair accessible. There are a large amount of other trails that are sugar sand and lowland pine.
Easy parking and an island of quit and nature in the middle of the city.
If you follow the trails and look and listen you can likely see a large box turtle.
The bird abound and the walk is quite and relaxing.
Nice tucked away nature preserve. Beautiful views of the town, makes a great place for pictures.
Nice nature preserve but very sketchy patrons lingering about. Trash. I live here in Hypoluxo, so rather disappointed if this is our local visitors ruining the experience.
This place is a great place to take a walk and encounter wildlife. It is great for a family adventure.
A little bit larger of natural area area then others in the area.it gets out there in the suns and feels like your in a desert.
Nice clean Nature Preserve that offers a great opportunity to observe wildlife. Paved and unpaved walking paths provide easy access to nature.
