Ichiban Buffet reviews
18 Lunch at the Ichiban Buffet! This is my second time at the Ichiban. First time was for dinner and I thought it was ok. Yes OK. The food at most buffet is mediocre, such is this with too much butter or oil. I realize that people who goes to Buffet is trying to get their money's worth and this is a great place to take family of five and not pay over $100. So given that I recognize a deal and food that is not bad, I say once in a while visit is ok.
Here is what I thought was really good.
The green beans with mushroom, crunchy and taste was very good. The stuffed clams with crab (though it's imitation) it was nice and not bad at all. Sushi's were very small and no sashimi, I am a sushi/sashimi lover so I was a bit disappointed that there was no sashimi. Never the less, I enjoyed the sushi. I did not eat too much of the line food because it had so much oil, but I did try some chicken which was not too sweet, with white rice it was perfect.
Soups were pretty good, wonton and Miso was tasty.
Salads were fresh except the Caeser salad which was a bit old, lettuce was not crisp.
Since I do not visit Kissimmee too often, I believe that it will be another year before I return to Ichiban.
Three Stars.
Great buffet selection, relaxed atmosphere no hurry stay as long as you want. Not expensive and a takeaway available.
I use to love this place it really use to be my fav, but lately the staff has become ridiculous. I tip wherever I go and this lady had the audacity before I even got to take my cash out saying I was not tipping her, “no tip “ “no tip “ like can I have a second? Then when I told my husband I left the cash in the car for him to go grab it she gave me attitude. & when they do things like that I’m obv not tipping now. This makes me never want to come back. They literally force a tip on you and that ridiculous. If I want to I will if I don’t I don’t You can’t FORCE ppl
Also When I entered there was zero food so I asked the host “should we come back or is there food out “
And she tell me yes there’s food out when we get seated there’s not one piece of food out anywhere and we had to wait 30 to even eat. W the same waitress saying “ya can’t wait a minute? ! ”
And u think u deserved to be tipped? Absolutely NOT
Gd food but have the nerve to tell u how much u have to tip them like I know they work for there cash but it one thing to be rude and ask for more cash.
Hibachi closed, food meh, didn't have food that was listed on their website, only concerned with getting people in and out. Would not go back.
Servers can be rude sometimes. Especially if you tip on card.
Sometimes the food is fresh, but it's not too bad. I wish they had more options and would bring the hibachi back. They raised prices but nothing changed.
We came for lunch on Sunday 7/23. Waited forever to be seated after being asked 4 times how many people in our party (we had 7). Only 2 tongs at sushi bar and lots of cross contamination at the food bars because not enough tongs. The waitress taking care of our table brought drinks then never came back except to bring the check. Then when I didn't write a tip on the tip line (total was $98.29 and I'm watching my credit card to ensure that's all that's charged) she loudly said you no see the tip. Now I normally leave cash tip, which I planned to do, but after that not a chance. Then soon as we got up to leave she rushed back over to the table to check for cash. Worst service ever, food sub par, and for the price not worth it. We only came here because it was my daughter's birthday and she asked to eat there. However with all the options of places to eat, we will not be back ever. If I could leave a big ZERO as my rating I would.
Standard Chinese buffet. A good selection of foods, dessert and drinks. Off the main drag so quick to get to. Enjoy
Absolutely loads of options for the buffet. Chicken, shrimp, crab, crawfish. If you don't go you're missing out.
The food is very well related to price and quality, I visit them at lunchtime. Although the sushi pieces are small, it has some varieties and there is also sashimi, a lot of Chinese food to try, a salad bar, sweets and ice creams that have a lot of variety of flavors.
I like sushi and, there is miso soup and gyosas that taste good. Also the bao pao but these are filled with something similar to pastry cream that is super rich.
As for drinks, I have only consumed water, and even if they give you the bill, if you want to continue eating, it continues that they are not taking you out yet; that if you keep in mind that at 4 you start selling dinner and they will charge you again so if you go to lunch go early and try to leave at 3: 30.
The food is good, but be careful with the tip that the waitress does not deceive you that it is a duty to give 15% of the total value of consumption. Tipping is not a required duty, it is an act of gratitude.

Amazing good buffet with Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Very reasonable price, especially for 192 tourist corridor.
Was ok food, does not have Snow Crab Legs even though the website says they do (I asked for them and was told no, only Blue Crabs). Service was efficient and friendly. Horrible parking situation, just madness with the way it flows.
Waitress was obnoxious asking for money before we were finished eating. She kept asking for a tip. Our 3 year old was charged full price. We will never eat there again.
Good food for the price $12.50 for lunch, drink not included. - Dinner is more expensive $17.50 no drink
I'm was in town for a tradeshow and craving asian buffet. We found this place on Yelp, waited in line for about 15 minutes to be seated. Overall, food was hot and flavors were savory with various options for protein, noodles, bread, soups and fruits.
Overall, sitting in my jeans and T shirt and hungry, food was good, utensils clean, and price was right.
I would go again. Thanks!
Walked in and walked out! Hand sanitizer by buffet was out. We told the staff before getting our food so we curls have clean hands. They said go to the bathroom to wash hands. That means nobody is washing hands before getting food and they are ok with that. I know water and soap is better, but to refuse customers that want to wash before grabbing food is disgusting. Enjoy touching bacteria and virus tongs and spoons. As we saw nobody going to bathroom to wash hands.
The bathroom is bad and does not have toilet paper and the food is so-so. And very expensive price because it does not have a variety of food.
