When I arrived home from work, my A/C unit had stopped working. I called Ierna because I had been behind one of their trucks on my drive home and because they had great reviews.
Jeremiah quickly diagnosed the problem and went over our options. Our inside unit was 35 years old and our outside unit was 20 years old, so it made more sense to get a new unit. Ierna’s prices were reasonable and they offered financing.
Shane and Brandon installed our unit and they were extremely helpful and professional. After the installation they went over the paperwork and cleaned up where they had been working. I highly recommend calling Ierna for all your A/C and heating needs. Almost forgot to mention that everyone that I talked to on the phone were also friendly and professional. Losing your A/C in Florida is not fun, but Ierna quickly fixed the problem!

Ierna's has installed 2 complete HVAC systems for me over the years. Professional, courteous service at all times. All the techs that have come for regular scheduled maintenance have been on time, friendly, and respectful of property. They are all excellent. Special shout out to Cody A.great tech!

I can't say enough good things about this company. I recently used them to replace an aged HVAC system. Every stage of the project was completed in an extremely professional way. Honest, professional, cost competitive, are just a few of the things that come to mind when I think of Ierna's.

I purchase the annual maintenance plan each year which gives our home a spring and a fall ac/furnace check up. Ierna's installed our Bryant AC/Heating system, redid our duct system and added another return air and installed a new main line from the air handler in the garage to the condenser unit behind our home a few years ago, so they have completely redone our system since we built the home. I trust them unconditionally, they even serviced our prior system which gave us issues for years. (leaks in the freon lines). Yesterday I had service by technician Carlos come by my home for my fall visit, no issues with the system as expected. I just wanted to comment on his professionalism, promptness, and thoroughness, even though he could have taken some shortcuts since he knew it was a new system, but he didn't. We enjoy working with the folks at Ierna's. All of the staff is wonderful, and I would recommend them to everyone.

We have used Ierna's for at least 7 years after we threw our prior vendor out for trying to grift us every time they engaged with us. Ierna's was recommended and we tried them. Since that time we have found a trusted advisor and rely on them for prompt, reliable, professional services for our HVAC - from maintenance & repair, to replacement when necessary. Shane was the crew leader on our recent installation and made it all go smooth as silk. Brandon was his assistant and they worked together quite well. The company's responsiveness got us up and running again within 24 hours of the diagnosed problem - replacement of the entire unit and air handler. Thanks Team Ierna!

Lightening hit 2020, and we had to have our AC replaced. We checked with 3 different sources and are so glad we picked Ierna. In the past we were more comfortable with a one tech company and initially anxious about a big company. No longer! We are now ready for our first annual maintenance and once again Ierna deserved top performance marks. Carlos was our best Tech ever and we've been in FL 50 years. He went the extra mile and was courteous and professional. Thanks Ierna!

Today I had Carlos come by to do a tune-up, and I have been very pleased with his professional attitude and willingness to help me with all of my A/C concerns. I am a very pleased customer, and I highly recommend Ierna's for all of your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

I have been using this company for over 10 years to help with AC maintenance at my rentals. They are always responsive and on time. Most technicians are personable but the last one was not. I called because the AC was leaking water The tenant reported damage on the 2nd floor of the townhome with water leaking through the walls, floors all the way to the ceiling downstairs. The technician that came (Tim, cell phone ending with 879) spoke with the tenant briefly and talked with me over the phone after he supposedly looked at the system. He told me that he would try to drain the line but my pan was PERFORATED and that was the cause of the leaks and the entire system needed to be changed because it was 17 year old. I told him I would rather have it fixed and told him I had seen AC systems (mine in other units) that were older than that and still working fine. He interrupted me on that and said "NO, impossible, not in Florida" I did not argue with him. He went on to tell me I would have to spend about $8k for a new 2.5 ton unit for this small townhome. I said ok. Send me your quote. I received two quotes, one for $11k and one for $7k. Later after work I drove to the townhome to assess the damage. I removed the cover off the Air Handler and found the coil completely frozen. (see pictures) I let them thaw down, cleaned the coils with two $7.48 condenser coil cleaner cans and vacuum it dry with the shop vac and the gentle brush attachment. I also cleaned the pan. It turns out the pan is made of HEAVY PLASTIC. No rust! No perforations! The leaks most likely came from the ice melting between cycles and the coils being dirty. The AC is now working fine. I will not be using this company again to help with my units. I called a different company today to service the unit and to check if the freon or other settings also need to be adjusted, capacitors etc. IERNA are responsive but very expansive to deal with. As other have mentioned, their parts are also over priced. I suspect the technicians are paid a commission on new unit sales so they are inclined to push for new units instead of providing repairs and maintenance. Let's see what the owner replies says on that.

PLEASE READ! I have dealt with many companies in my life but this is the first that really cares and doesn't nickel and dime their customers. I know this because they even turned down business when my AC was acting up and advised me to find the installer as it should still be under warranty. They also have worked with me in times of emergency service and were honest and didnt take advantage of a desperate time. They are a great place that I will now only use within their service specialties. Highly recommend and you can trust you are getting the best work without being gouged.

Edit: I highly recommend Kip as they are incredibly helpful. Kip also is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He is highly recommended!

Carlos did an excellent job with our bi-annual service call. He was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable and was "Mr. Clean" by picking up the insulation from accessing the unit in our attic.

Air conditioning is a must in Florida, and it’s important to maintain a home’s AC regularly. Today, Felix arrived on time from Ierna to perform the bi-annual maintenance. He did a great job, explaining each step as he went along. He answered all of my questions and was very open and friendly. When quizzed about additional services, he offered information but not high-pressure sales tactics. In all, he was very professional. My AC is now running smoothly, and I plan to use Ierna again in the future. Thank you, Felix!

Carlos from Ierna was at our home this AM to service our AC. He was a pleasure to work with. Friendly, reliable and professional. Ierna customer service goes above and beyond making customers happy working with you on scheduling, etc. Honest, reasonable and great service.

We had to have our entire ductwork replaced in our 40 year old house so we called Irena for a quote. Not only were they about $3k cheaper than the other company we called, they did an excellent job with the install.

The service started with Scott who came out and accessed our system. He then drew up a new plan for the new ductwork.

Next, the installers (Shane, Brandon, Austin, and Gareth) showed up and did an amazing job. They kept our house really clean (which is a feat considering the mess that the service requires). And not only did they finish when they said they would, they even cleaned out a bunch of old trash other companies had left in our attic.

I would highly recommend them for anyone in the Tampa area and they will be my AC company for as long as I own this house.
