IHOP, Sarasota FL

Waited for a long time. No staff around. I won't be coming back to this restaurant. They want you to sign in instead of of taking care of thier costomers.

I felt so bad for the workers at this location. There was only 1 server running the entire front of house and only 1 cook in the back making all the orders. Whoever runs this IHop is damn lucky to have a woman like that working all those hours and yet still super helpful with all of us on top of all the other stuff she has to do. I'm just hoping everyday isn't like that for her. Bless everyone working so hard during these times where no ones wants to work but everyone wants to get a paycheck.

Ashley was the best waitress I have ever had and I will be calling her manager in the morning when he's there to let him know how good she was to us. I would go back just to see her. The food was great as well. By far alyissa is the vary very best at what she does and my kids love her!

For some reason that I can't understand this place always seems dead. I've eaten at IHOPs in many locations and different states and I have to say that the food that comes out of this one is some of the best I've ever had. Now they seem to struggle with Staffing so the service may suffer but the gals that work there try their hardest! We love this IHOP!

Went here for brunch with a friend of mine. We got our food in a timely manor and even with not enough help, our waitress was so sweet, time efficient, got our orders in and food out. She was so busy but she knew exactly what she was doing and she was doing it well. I wish I had caught her name. I was there Thursday September 8th at about 1pm, my lively waitress looked to be African American if this helps in any way. I loved her, she was great and if management sees this review, I hope they let her know that she did a wonderful job. Thanks xo

Visited here with my brother, who uses a cane, to enjoy a sit down breakfast. We sat immediately and the wait-staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The meal was as described and delicious. No issues and reasonably priced. Looking forward to my next visit.

The worst food I’ve ever ordered anywhere. How does someone mess up a steak this badly, it looks like you tried to leave it raw. Thanks for flushing my $30 down the toilet.

I ordered the strawberry crepes without whip cream. It came with whip cream. The waitress offered to have it remade but I was running late for an appointment, so I had to wipe off the mostly melted whip cream. The picture on the menu shows around 8 strawberries. My order of strawberry crepes came drenched in strawberry syrup with 3 strawberries on the plate.

Food was amazing and it was the only place open to eat after Ian came from punta gorda to sarasota first place found open

This is my third time here. And is my last. Pancakes were doughy. The omelette was reheated in microwave after I informed the chicken was cold. And server was not very socially friendly

This place was awful we had to wait 15 minutes to get a seat with o ly three other people in the restaurant who were already seated then the waitress come over just full of "personality" and takes our order when she brings part of our food I had to tell her what was missing and again with her great personality she went back to the kitchen where they were having a who can yell and scream the loudest party and get the rest of our order after my wife had already eaten her food also to add to the fine dining experience there were bugs on the wall and on the napkin wrapped around the silverware needless to say we won't go back to IHOP in Sarasota ever again

Everything was perfect! Just as I expected hadn't been in a while some of the same people have been there 5 to 10 years.the restaurant has been remodeled and looks great. The only difference is the $30 meal we used to have is now $50 not their fault.

Not too many people there:) the waitress was a very nice young girl. Gave us exactly what we asked for and was super attentive to us.

Wait was unusually long, as servers were standing around. I asked for a table, as a member of our party I'd wheelchair bound. They first tried both. When I put the wheelchair on the edge. They moved us to a table of 8. We were a party of 3. I suggested that they put 2 2 tops together and we could sit there. Was told no, they couldn't do that. As we were leaving, they had a party of 7 at those 2 tables pushed together. Busyboy just tried to remove my wife's Plate as she was still eating. I doubt we're ever gonna to be back.

Great and fast service! I was a little sad to see not many people there. IHOP used to be more popular throughout the day. It did mean I got my food pretty quick though and the server was good.

Need more employees, food was good, there was a wait and when I asked twice how long the wait was to 3 of the waitresses they looked at me all dumb founded, no one was writing our names down in the order for when the customers came in so we took it upon ourselves to write them ourselves.

Two eggs sunny-side-up, sausage. Everything on my plate was burned and over-cooked. Wish I could post a picture of this incinerated mess.
