IHOP, Boynton Beach FL

This is the absolute worst ihop location by far. I work doordash and have to decline the calls from here because they take over 30 minutes past the promised time food SHOULD be ready. As a customer, I always receive cold food, I ordered online for delivery and still had to go in to pick it up because they did not fulfill the order not only did they take 2 hours the food was ice cold AND my family feast containers were for a party of 2, they were more than half empty. On top of not contacting me when they didn’t have something I ordered to substitute or refund and that was the only thing I received. I called 8 TIMES about my order and no one picked up the phone. Had a fill in manager who tried to tell me my doordash grabbed my second bag while she had the rest of my order behind the counter. I honestly don’t know how this location is still open. Absolute TRASH.

I tried to have breakfast here BUT. I was by myself and there was 3 parties ahead of me and I was told it's a 10 minute wait. 20 minutes later they were taking in parties that came in behind me, after the 3rd party behind me I tried to ask why I hadn't been seated, I was told " we are not going to waste a table for 1 person and I'd have to wait till the multiple person parties were finished. I told them I'd go somewhere that wouldn't treat me like a 2nd class citizen. Brooklyn Water Bagel Co is across the street and I had a wonderful breakfast.

Had an amazing time with friends from out of town. I can't believe I didn't take pics of the food.but their company was more important. Our server was Amazing! I think her name is Julissa (correct me if I'm wrong). She was amazing & I will definitely go back to that particular I-Hop if I knew she would be our server & I have an I-Hop right around the corner from where I live. She is definitely an asset to the I-Hop. Please give her some recognition for her Outstanding service.

We go often to IHop and always is OK, but this location and staff at this time was very careless, and the waitress was rude. It was very disappointing experince. The staff needs training, or they have to get a different job. Sunday around 3 to 5 pm. There was only 2 tables to take care of.

I am giving it two stars instead of one just because the staff was very polite after all.

We came here for breakfast with a couple friends during the week and the place was empty.
Nevertheless there was a couple ahead of us, who had been waiting for their take out up for a long time, and we also had to wait a very long time to be seated, although there were maybe 2 tables occupied in the entire restaurant.

We all ordered different meals, and they were all just ok.

Probably the place was short staffed. But between the extremely long wait and the mediocre food, I don’t think I’ll come back soon.

I stayed in the Courtyard Marriott in the IHOP there is open 24 hours a day in Boynton Beach off Congress I had biscuits and gravy I had the jalapeno burger when baking a country fried steak I had two eggs over easy and I had the best service in the world with the best pancakes in the world for me IHOP in Congress in Boynton right next to the Marriott God bless IHOP for being open 24 hours a day

Went with a friend for dinner. Greeted with waitress with mask below chin. Large party was right in front, so we asked about sitting away from and was told area was closed. So we reluctantly sat across from the large party. We wanted to order off the special menu advertised on tv and on their web site and were advised that it was taken out of the computer and we could not order from that anymore (it is still there today). Ordered off the senior menu and got eggs with sausage and pancakes. (for a place called IHOP, their pancakes are doughy and dry) Was not pleased with the food, but what the heck. Another party came in and the waitress (still with mask below chin) tried to place them in the booth right next to us (they asked to move to across the dining room). The large party left and the table stayed dirty the whole time we were there. Another party came in and they were placed right next to us (couldn't we do social distancing, every other table). We finished and left. I will not go back. Another local pancake place is much better!

Please do yourself a favor and do not eat at this IHOP. I went with my daughter and grandson last weekend and my grandson ordered chicken tenders and french fries from the kids menus. Luckily I decided to bite into one before my grandson tasted it and I found out that the chicken was not cooked all the way. I spit it out on the plate and told the server the chicken was raw. No big deal since I understand these things happen. The server took the plate to get us new cooked chicken tenders so I thought…. Instead the cooks put my chewed up piece of chicken along with the rest of the chicken originally served to us back into the fryer and served the same chicken back to us. I was completely appalled and disgusted that they contaminated the oil and continued to serve others. I spoke with both the assistant and general manager and neither of these men responded in a way that showed me they understood the seriousness of what was done. I told them they need to shut the kitchen down and change the oil in the fryer and clean it. The manager told me he would just use his other fryer which sounded ridiculous to me. Please do yourself a favor and do not eat here as they do not care about the health and safety of their customers. Hygiene is clearly not important to them.

First, it's a shame that you all had this young lady working on her own. That said, SHE WAS OUTSTANDING. Very good job young lady to be in there by yourself. She handled it well. Very pleased given the circumstances. Management needs to get this girl some help.

Worst ihop, received cold food once, when I order from them with grub hub I get a incorrect order, the staff seem like they don’t want to even be there and the wait time…. Yea your looking at 20-60 minutes. Pathetic place

They do not prioritize online orders. I ordered one hour ago, arrive 10 mins AFTER it should have been ready and they had not even started my food. Don't eat here

Received a chicken sandwich with a staple in it and when we tried to call nobody answered the phone, terrible service and food I am beyond disgusted!

Caprice is awesome super hard working Been here a few times now and even ordered Uber eats over the phone and she just answered and helped with my order. Great employee you guys have here. GIVE HER A RAISE I HOPE SHE GETS ONE BY THE NEXT TIME I ORDER! Thanks ihop

1 person serving entire dining room. Understaffed and undertrained. I waited literally over an hour last night for a burger that i was told was “done and just needed to be bagged up”— an hour later still waiting. Not the servers fault, she was awesome and very nice. Just ridiculously understaffed on the floor and apparently in the kitchen as well.

Horrible wait staff just horrible all together what's with the plastic cutlery that won't even cut pancakes can't get one whole meal at the same time just horrendous all together nothing good to say here about this place at all wish you could give minus stars!

When we arrived their computers were down so all sales were cash only. It was still crowded for a late lunch. Seated right away. Drinks were a little slow coming but it was crowded. Waitstaff was masks. Tables were thoroughly scrubbed between seating. My BLT was wonderful! Lots of crispy, smokey bacon, sweet tomato, crunchy lettuce. A side of onion rings. My friend had a seasonal special of Reeces peanut butter pieces pancakes with peanut butter sauce and chocolate syrup. She devoured it and was as pleased as a kid. Only complaint is that drink glasses were small and refills were also slow in coming. The coffee cups looked small too.

The costumer service is really bad, the waiter service is bad you're talking to them and they just walk away and lives you when you didn't finish talking, dirty cups of coffe with lipstick on it.

They never pick up the phone on night shifts then when you go inside their either on the phone, listening to music or in the back playing. I live down the street from this establishment but I always have to go the ihop 20 minutes away because they actually do work. They need new night staff to be honest.

I’ve always been going to this IHOP for as long as i can remember.i can understand lately it’s been hard being understaffed but tonight was just inexcusable.arrived with my partner and behind came another party of 4 girls.there was no one there at all so we waited for some minutes.it wasn’t until a gentleman came out and looked confused and bewildered at me and my partner, giving nothing but a tiny ‘hi? ’
as he went around the counter he realized there was more than us, and proceeded to tell us that he was done with his shift and ready to leave, as he’s been working all day.we all were confused, wondering if even the dining room was open since there was literally NO ONE at all.he continued repeating his statement, not bothering to get someone to cover for him or even get some assistance.it felt as if he was telling us to get lost as no one will be here to in the dining room.so all 6 of us decided to leave.it felt super awkward to just watch this guy give a small laugh as he told all of us he was leaving soon.it’s tough being super unstaffed but next time just leave a note on the door saying that the dining room is closed or there’s a shortage of workers, cause this was the worst possible way to turn customers away.
