Furniture Store IKEA reviews
23They are temporarily out of a lot of items. I'm sure it's due to the pandemic but it's tough to shop when the items you want aren't available.
Learn as many tips as possible before even attempting this splendid shop-trap. Good upkeep even with covid-19. I did make the mistake of grabbing display items like a throw cover and a few baskets for purchase. At the register she charged us for them but cashiers need the floor attendants permission to sell those. So I payed for items that I couldn't keep.
After loading our purchases in the loading area, my husband tried to run in to use the restroom. An employee stopped him at the door and would not allow him in. Crazy! When my husband explained to him he was just trying to use the restroom the employee still would not allow him in. Poor customer service.
One rep says the product is there and another said it wasn't, not sure why but it was not there.
A little annoying to get around if in a hurry. Kids play area is great and really useful. Staff are all very helpful and items are usually fairly easy to find in the self serve area. Click & collect area is faster than estimated time and nice service.
We love IKEA! Some friends of ours told us about IKEA and we just went tonight to shop for a kitchen table and chairs set. Richard and Rico helped us with picking the right table for us. And when we went to the warehouse to get our set, Stephen was there to assist us in getting everything onto our cart as well as answered my questions about putting the chairs together at home. We also ate at the restaurant and Darius was the cashier and he helped us with questions about the fountain drinks. He also ended up being the rep who checked us out when we were ready to pay for our stuff up front. And Mrs Kathy was there as well and she was very kind and helpful. We will be back soon! With such great customer service and competitive prices, IKEA is above par!
Nice furniture and good products with fair prices. Have a variety of options and price ranges for different budgets. 2 stars because customer service is horrible. Little to no help with finding and obtaining your purchase. Especially when busy. Long wait times at check out due to very few lanes open. If you purchase large furniture bring some muscle. Their staff will walk right by you without acknowledgement when you are carrying multiple and heavy products.
I LOVE IKEA, I can tell its 'Swedish' the location, the store, the IKEA-consept is, you can have it today and build it yourself by DIY, it's really just you put it together.
Pros: large selection of affordable, stylish, and sustainably sourced home goods. Also a decent restaurant/cafe.
Cons: once you're inside, there is no way out. No more free kids meals on Tuesdays.
I LOVE Ikea! However, a LONG drive there and back from Bluffton, SC.
PLEASE, PLEASE MANAGEMENT, ADD A STORE NEAR BLUFFTON/ HILTON HEAD! You will sell your butts off.really!
Second attempt at this store. Only 3 checkout lines open and 30+ customers in each line. Lots of people, including us, abandoned their purchases and walked out the door.
The store is very big an clean.but the carts r insane the wheels r so u can move easy but if your old like me very hard to hold onto. Just to large for old people no electric carts for them
I guess you have to give it one star or you can't write a review. Worse store I have ever been into, I am 73 and have a real mobility problem and had no idea how screwed up that place was laid out. I went in to buy the kitchen sponges that are 3 for $1.00 that my Daughter usually picked up for me. I finally found them bought a years supply and could not find my way out. So I pushed a door that had a sign that read an alarm will sound if this door is opened. I got someone to show me how to get out of there. I will never go into that store again for any reason.
Always love an ikea. This one is on the smaller side, but its not like they didn't have enough for me! Spent most of the day there, and had a thing or two to put together that night! Also, love the lunch! Found a new recipe to make at home! The potato broccoli cakes are awesome (with meatballs of coarse!)!
I am sure the products are great but be prepared to traverse through a maze to find what you desire. However, when it comes to finding the bin location after you have shot a pic of the UPC Code and located it in the warehouse, good luck because there is literally no one available to help you. It was a one and done visit for me.
I really like IKEA, I believe they need more employees. Really long checkout line with only a single register open on Dec. 17,2018 at approximately 11am
My daughter Ashley, my granddaughter Abigayle and I took the grand tour following the arrows that led us through lots of well planned groups of home goods to the dinning room. We were ever so happy to get a healthy meal in a comfortable dinning room. We choose to eat our salmon and veggies in the quiet area with couches and little tables. Abigayle loved the chicken tenders. Ashley and I liked the veggie balls. We picked out the little bed for Abigayle that she loves. We will be back.
First time in an IKEA. It was massive. Following the path felt like a mile by the time I was done. There are many different sections, so you could get something for every place in your house. Really liked the rooms that were set up. And the get your own furniture section was insanely huge. However for some areas a specialty store would have more variety. And it would not be a quick trip to get one item. Also enjoyed the swedish market. And I suppose they have a cafe so you can get energy back from so much shoppe over load.
Very similar to the one we visited in Frisco texas but on a smaller scale. If you plan on going make a day out of it. They have a kids that you can drop them off in because little ones can get really tired attempting to walk this place. I love the products here bought a French press that I use daily and love. Will definately be back.
I did not want to go to IKEA. Because I'm a very impulsive shopper, fortunately I had my friend with me who stopped me from making unnecessary purchases. But they have so much nice stuff I just wanted to buy it all. All in all a great experience, there is a restaurant on site, the staff were very helpful, and also I just want to go back and buy more stuff!
