IMEX Stone reviews
15An amazing experience from the beginning till the end. The initial template appointment took around a week to happen. Pedro, the "template" guy was very professional; and answered our endless question patiently and thoroughly. Then, we went to their office in Fort Myers to see the stone. An amazing group of people. They explained the entire process to us, and scheduled the appointment within a week. After installing countertops, we went through similar experience with backsplash. Our kitchen looks amazing. The crew was always on time. At the end they RETURNED the difference between an initial estimate and completed work. On the negative side. NOTHING. I highly recommend IMEX stone to everyone. Transparent, honest and professional team, both, on site employees, and the office team. Thank you!
We ordered our quartz countertops through Home Depot, and they used IMEX Stone as their installation contractor. They came to install the new countertops today and I am simply blown away. They did a FANTASTIC job. They blended the seams so well they're basically invisible. Every piece was perfect. Could not be more pleased with the results. They were polite, professional, clean, efficient and a pleasure to work with. HIGHLY recommend IMEX Stone for any countertop needs!
Worst company that I ever dealt with as far as counter tops. Home Depot uses them to do the installations of the counter tops they sell. Bad experience all around. This was the first time I ever use Home Depot to do counter tops and I will never go to Home Depot or IMEX for counter tops. The guy who came out to measure the cabinets for the counter top was all negative as soon as he pulled in my driveway. At that point I could tell it wasn't going to be a good experience. Just a bad attitude not a good way to treat a customer and Home Depot sticks up for this behavior. If I were you I would go to Lowes. I've use Lowes many times and was never treated with such disrespect in my own house. Just be warned.
The installers and template guys are ABSOLUTELY amazing! The office staff is rude, don’t return calls and act like you are a bother for calling. My counter tops are gorgeous but would NOT recommend due to the office group. Maybe the installers and template guys should teach them about customer service!
Home depot gave us this company for our kitchen countertops. Measurements were wrong. Installers were told to cut into our brand new walls to make them fit. Still not right. Didn't accept the product. Neither hope depot or imex will speak with us and we have spent thousands of dollars. Mom is 87 years old. No counters or kitchen sink. Staying with her daughter in Tampa. Would you want your mom treated like this. Bad enough she went through all the devastation from last years hurricane. Her insurance company left the state and she really should have been helped with this.
We placed our order through Home Depot because we couldn't get any local companies to show up or give a fair price. Pleasantly, to our surprise, Imex is the installer for Home Depot. They were out to template within 2 days of planning our order. They had our product within a few weeks and installed the week after. Everything turned out perfectly, as advertised! I highly recommend this company whether it be through Home Depot or a private installation.
We had bought counter tops from Home Depot and IMEX was the installers.
They came and measured the size and then came to install the countertop. We were so impressed by there professionalism and installation. They were on time and very neat and clean. Would highly recommend them.
Great price and service. I did shop around and Imex had the best deal. Customer service from sales to installation was top notch. Both guys who came to do the template ensured what I wanted.
Luis who was the installer communicated clearly with me and ensured I know how to take care of the quartz.
Quality professional work from start to finish. Installation team was outstanding.competent, friendly, professional, efficient. Excellent in every way.
Went for a visit on May 1st looking for slabs. Stopped in their office to find out what warehouses were the best. Asked if they serviced the Tampa area. We got a list from them and were told yes they service Tampa. The slab warehouse sent over our selections for a quote. We called, left voicemails, sent 2 emails and have heard nothing.
Very happy with our countertop and with IMEX Stone. They were very good to work with and we would highly recommend them.
Great experience!
They communicated well on progress of project, showed up on time, and careful with installation.
Overwhelmed with customer needs, RUDE! 2 home remodel that required ME drawing template. WITH an order completed face-to-face Eric did not oversee edging accuracy. Instead we have the exact opposite, unsafe, countertop edges I was very clear that I didn't want!
Sink wasn't sealed, now brand new cabinets have water damage. 2xs the contractor called to ensure a next day resolution. We are in day 2 without resolve! I called. VERY RUDE ALEX was miffed & placed me on hold when I couldn't provide name of person contractor spoke to & then asked for his!? !? Why after $5K+ later am I waiting for 3 days for service? Not a good experience!
I went to IMEX after a neighbor told me where they bought their countertop.for less than $600 a few months ago. I told them I was a referral from this neighbor, and was hoping for very same quartz. They had it, as a remnant, I was so relieved.until salesperson told me the price was $1600. Yep, I couldn't believe my ears - I looked him in the eye and said "Wait - did you say "one six" or just "six? " The salesman said "Yes, $1600 is the price. " I was stunned and just turned around to leave. The salesman called out "And have a nice day" in a snarky kind of tone. I've since priced quartz at several other shops, and have two estimates for that vanity using comparable quality quartz (one is $700, one is $750). Don't buy at this place until you've checked around!
It was not a good experience. When I went to picks up the pieces of quartz for my bathroom the sill for the shower was no where to be found. They were supposed to have it cut again in a few days went to pick it up and was treated with an uninterested attitude.
I won’t recommend them in the future.
