My boat was broken into all my nav electronics where stolen, another couple said their mast was picked for parts while they left their boat at the marina. I brought this to the attention of the staff and was told “that’s unfortunate” it appears that either the staff or the live aboard residents are using this place as a parts store at the boat owner’s expense. No cameras on the property. I would not use this place again.

We visited the marina for a few hours while looking at a boat for sale, stored on the hard.
Marina is small but the dry storage is huge and full of mostly dead boats. The place seemed very well operated, the marina and heads super clean, low key atmosphere and just s few cruisers hanging out near their boats on the canal. Only an hour from Fort Lauderdale but a world away in pace. Looks like an economical place to work on a boat and not be tempted by other things to do. Very quiet rural. I liked it.

Interesting nobody answers the phone calling about fuel and a overnight stay
I've been there before I know people are there.

We stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks in Nov/Dec 2023.
Wonderful staff! Friendly, efficient, accomodating.
DIY work yard (you can live on your boat while you work on it). Storage area. Marina with a mix of half-finger docks and pilings, and floating docks. RV space. Water and power available in all areas.
Fuel dock. Ice. Mail and package delivery here for guests.
Lovely areas for marina guests to relax - a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, exchange library, TV, and air conditioning; a screened in "porch", adirondack-style chairs around a fire pit, patio chairs and tables with umbrellas, large gas grill available for use on the patio.
Bathrooms and showers are plentiful, have hot water, and are in two areas of the marina property. Clean.
Laundry room takes quarters. Office is happy to make change for you.
Pets are welcome, on a leash.
Walk less than a mile to grocery store, dollar store, small restaurant, fast food, and taco truck. Walk a bit more than a mile to hardware and auto parts stores, doughnut shop and sandwich shop, public library and post office.

In response to Samuel…I have left my boat at the Indiantown marina for 3 years and I see myself obliged to respond to you because I find your post contradicting my experience. I have no incentive with them but my experience is completely different.
I can understand the direction of wanting a deposit if they find that the boat is in very bad condition, because if you go to the southwest part you will find the place where the marina must destroy several boats left abandoned which do not no longer have any value. It costs money to dismantle them and have the containers emptied. If you take the time to visit the place you will quickly understand the reason for the deposit request.
Now, the owner is trying to raise the quality of the place and he is doing great activities such as 4 days of Thanksgiving parties with food, drinks, music etc.all at no cost. Free! Same thing for New Year’s Day and beyond.
Prices are very reasonable for rental, storage, work on our boats.
I would be quite frustrated if the prices increased just because of people abandoning their boat trash at the marina and having to get rid of them after several years of abandonment.
I'm not saying your boat is trash but if they asked for a deposit I'm sure there's a credible reason.
I hope I haven't offended you too much and that if you decide to come and settle there by making a deposit, I will be happy to meet you, I will be there at the beginning of November 2023 for a month. Greeting

Samuel

FRAUD! SCAM! SHADY BUSINESS! - I spent months planning out logistics to get my boat up to Indiantown Marina. I had made it very clear that I wanted to bring a boat up to haul out that needed extensive work. They said it would not be a problem and laid out everything I would need to know in order to make this all possible. The lady behind the phone was great and extremely nice to work with. After working out all of the logistics I paid a captain and crew to deliver the boat to Indiantown which took about two days for them to get the boat there. After finally getting to the marina all of the paperwork was filled out, credit card information given and ready to haul out the owner Scott came over and immediately told me that the boat was in terrible shape and he would not haul it out unless I gave him a $5,000 deposit in case he had to cut it up and throw my boat away. Seriously? !? !? I AM COMING TO YOUR YARD TO WORK ON THE BOAT! I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MY BUSINESS! I went back and forth with him asking him to work with me as this was totally uncalled for and spent months on planning this. He continued to tell me I could leave if I did not give him the deposit and kept repeatedly telling me “life is not fair”. After going back and forth he told us to get lost. I have never met such an unprofessional business owner before in my life. Not to mention extremely shady and greedy. Just another shady business owner trying to take advantage of someone who has come so far. Extremely disappointed and appalled by Scott’s actions and handing of the situation. From one business owner to another this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a business and I would NEVER treat my customers this way. If you like working with shady business men then by all means use Indiantown Marina but if not then STAY AWAY FROM INDIANTOWN MARINA! WHAT A JOKE.

Best place to leave your sailboat during the hurricane season. Good price great location away from the hurricanes. Check out my video about this marina at sailing EV on YouTube. Highly recomended. 1st month in the hard free!

The staff at Indiantown Marina are super friendly and that's hard to find nowadays! I don't know who does the hiring but they did a super job with the office staff and maintenance!

For 6 dollars a gallon some one should be helping. Self serve, got to get the key for fuel from the office. No one greeting at dock. Kinda lame.
