Ingman Marine, Port Charlotte FL

Ordered a new Bennington from Ingman a few months ago via phone. Orion Wholean was my sales rep and, after explaining what I was going to use it for, made recommendations on upgrades I should and shouldn't get (didn't try to oversell me). Boat came in last week and Captain Mark Miller took us out for our sea trial. He went over the entire operation of the boat in a clear, concise way. Couldn't be happier with the sales and service I have received so far.

Update 1/12/2022-Just received my boat back from it's 20 hour service as well as installing some add-ons and couldn't be happier. Orion in new boat sales, Mike Smith in service and JR who dropped off the boat could not have made it easier. Orion was a great point person, Mike Smith keep me informed of when parts would be delivered and when the boat would be ready and JR was on-time and went above and beyond when he delivered the boat (dropped it into the water and then brought the trailer to our storage facility). So glad I purchased at Ingman!

Everything went smoothly at Ingman Marine, from our initial visit, to having the boat delivered. We were assisted in choosing what options we wanted, and which boat suited our needs. Captain Mark, went through everything we needed to know and joined us for a ride. We were surprised to see that life jackets, flares, a first aid kit, horn, ropes, and more were all include which we thought we would need to purchase. Now we've been out several times and we just love the boat. It suits us perfectly thanks to Ingman Marine.

Ingman marine is by far the best in the business when it comes to boats, motors, tackle and anything else marine you can think of! I recently bought a new shoalwater boat from Ingman I worked directly with Jordan Ingman, Jr Pittman, Jeff and Gary Ingman and the experience could not have been more pleasant, all four of these guys accommodated me in every way possible! Chris and Holly helped my Fiancé and I get a used boat so quick! We looked at it Friday and had it home by Monday. They went above and beyond to help us with questions, paperwork, insurance, and a timely water test. Everything went perfect and I couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you both again! Can hardly get anyone to speak to you when you ask simple questions like where's the parts department. They're inconsiderate attitude sent me directly to The boathouse in Port Charlotte. Unfortunately I found the same predators at the water hole there as I did at Ingman. Probably why places like Carvana are starting to rise
Popularity. People are tired of being the prey.

Orion did a great job educating us on the purchase of our boat. He was friendly, honest and patient. Mark was great during the sea trial and that sealed the deal. We were very happy with our overall experience at Ingman!

Bilge pump stated to get noisy in March. I had had the boat 5 years, so I figured it was probably a good time to change it with my annual service in April. I have been out in the boat twice since. I noticed very little water coming out, so I took a look in to see the sump full of water. It looked like someone didn't put the fuse high enough on the harness away from the water. It was fried and the pump broken. Ingman's response was to tell me the new pump was put in 6 months ago. So the problem is mine. Very poor.

I worked with Jordan Ingman through the process and it was awesome. This was my first new boat and Ingman marine made it easy. The customer service is phenomenal!

Orion was fantastic. We HIGHLY recommend buying a boat at Ingman. This is our 2nd boat purchase with Orion, if we want another boat in the future, we will go back to Ingman & Orion!

They were closed early. Still was able to look at boats outside even though all were sold. They are taking orders for 2022 now

I just bought my first boat (Sea Hunt 275 Ultra) from Scott Ritter at Ingman Marine in Port Charlotte, FL. I first met Scott at a boat show. I don’t know much about boats, but Scott was both extremely patient in answering my questions and extremely knowledgeable about a variety of boat makes, types and sizes. He ultimately helped me find exactly the right boat for what my family wanted. He was very responsive by phone, text or in-person visits. He even took us out in the water to test the type of boat we wanted. It took a few months to get our boat delivered (just received today 2/28/21) but Scott kept us informed about the boat a couple of times a month. While waiting for the boat Scott lined us up with Rachel Dion who put the beautiful logo on our boat last week and with Affordable Canvas who made us a console canopy to match our boat. Scott also worked closely with the great service team at Ingman to make sure that the boat was delivered on the day it was promised. This morning we spent over an hour on the water with Captain JR who took us through all the systems, etc. I could not be happier with the boat and the customer service provided by Scott Ritter and the Ingman team. I have been an executive in large companies for over 40 years and have not had a better experience on a major purchase. Congrats to Scott and Ingman Marine.

The service department really went above and beyond to get me back on the water. Other service departments said the parts needed were a few months out on back order. Aaron at the Placida location not only checked the other Ingman locations, he called me back after finding the part down in Miami and had it overnighted. In and out in a few days, not a few months. Invoice was a few hundred dollars below other quotes. Hands down the best service I’ve received in 25 years of owning a boat. Thanks Aaron and Mike Brimer!

Went in here 5-15-21 looking for a part for my boat and the man working in the bait and tackle shop was extremely rude and not helpful at all, this boat dealer has been in this town for years and I also went to school with Jordan and mechelle Ingman and know for a fact that they wouldn't appreciate that fact that some guy is there mis treating their customers I really can't believe the amount of disrespect I was given by walking through the door today

Just purchased our first boat from Ingman and Orion Wholean helped us! We purchased a Sea Hunt Ultra 234 and we couldn’t be happier! We originally met him at the local boat show and we could immediately tell he was an experienced boater and caring individual. During the build process he helped us dozens of times from picking the right options to delivery. Ingman even had Captain JR Pittman bring us out to show us the ropes once the boat arrived! Fast forward a week and we’ve been on the boat several times and we are still getting help from Orion and the folks at Ingman to help us become master boaters!

We had a great salesman Scott Ritter. He really answered all of our questions and then some. Very informational. We even have referred friends of ours to him. He’s one of the best!
