This is a number to a robot that collects all your information over the phone then doesn't even help you in the end. Why can't I get an operator to actually take my question.
It says you can only come in by appointment only, then gives me the # to the IRS, who tells you from 7am on, that the line is too busy and to call again later!
Not even open, extremely difficult to reach on the phone and very unprofessional. Last time I called I spoke to a foreigner trying to explain very confusing and sensitive tax info.
I couldn't get past the recording. Can't get any answers on the website either. Tried the Tax Payer Advocate Service. Same result.
No clue what they’re doing as well as the actual IRS. It’s really unsettling to know that they have your money but are too incompetent to process a tax return. Totally inexcusable.
