Closed for lunch from 12-1 but doesn't say that anywhere so people basically waste their time.

I got an IRS letter saying I owed money. I already paid a month before I received the IRS letter. The IRS Agent on the phone was polite as he took my information. After a 3-minutes wait, he came back on and said, "yes, I see that you paid and to disregard the letter. " Thank you for resolving this so quickly.

Filed my return, says I'm getting a refund, yet nothing. Won't tell me if my stuff is incorrect or not. Thanks a lot!

Only one person works, it is extremely slow, and nearly impossible to get an appointment because you can only make it via phone.

1st of all I wanted to give the irs a 0 star rating. It's been 7 months since the IRS accepted my tax return, I filed electronically. The IRS website and phone number as well as trying to make an appointment to a physical office in your area is absolutely useless! The IRS

The call service is terrible.we are unable to get through to make an appointment that can only be made over the phone.we have called on many occasions, frequently dialing repeatedly for over an hour to get through for an appointment. It is impossible & this is delaying our being able to file our taxes. So it's not on us, it's on the IRS.very discouraging.we even went to the office & the woman advised us on how/when to call & even using those methods we are unable to reach anyone.it's basically an automated hang up on everyone system.

What is the difference between the Italian guys that come to your business with bats reminding you of the cut you owe them and the IRS? If you call the guys with the bats they will always be there to help you resolve any issues on time and promptly.

I go there to just Idverify me I seat there for 30 mnts for them to make appointment for me but not going to verify me and I’m was the only one inside especially the the lady with her bad attitude

What a waste of time, 30 minute hold, to be redirected to another IRS 800-number to speak to customer service. I need specific tax law information here people. Sheesh!

If I could give negative stars I would. There are no actual employees working there. It's all automated systems that dont even work. Filed tax return a month ago with no information. Couldn't get in contact for stimulus information last year and never got it. As a tax payer (unlike most people now a days) its disgusting to see that we cant get the service we need and deserve. Absolutely useless.

If they could get 0 stars they would. After calling the number and going through an extensive phone tree to get to the person that can “help you” you are sent to a message that says there are too busy to take your call and the line hangs up. I have call 5 times on 5 different days and the same thing has occurred. It’s unfathomable to me that this is the agency in charge of collect taxes for our country. An incredible example of how bureaucracy fails its consumers.

Facial recognition? ! Definitely opposed to this.can’t even get the standard process right.

I waited over a month for an appointment and they gave me a form to fill out and I have no idea how to fill it out so now I have to make another appointment. Terrible customer service.

It has been 10 months since I filed my 2020 tax return I Have not received anything yet when I call they tell me to wait this has been going on for 10 months. I already verified myself 2 times I have not gotten any child tax credit and still missing stimulus checks this is not fair.
