Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Taxpayer Assistance Center reviews
6This is every bit of what you would expect a government office to be. It starts with litterely hours on the phone just trying to make an appointment. The phone operators just hang up on you or transfer you to other offices that can't help. Eventually, they make an appointment for months in the future because they can't answer basic information about your account. Once at the appointment, they are unable to assist and just transfer you to another office that can't take you for months, all the while accumulating fines. How can this office accept payments but can not tell you how much you may or may not owe. It is amazing that they will send you a notice of debt but then will not take your money.
This office is no longer there on 49th street, was there, sign on door stating they moved, no forwarding address, where can I get a transcript?
If I could leave 0 Stars I would, I’ve been on the phone waiting for a representative for an Hour. They are not dealing with all of Florida, they are lazy and slow in the mind and at the physical task at hand
This place must be what hell is like, no water, no food, no cell phone, no talking, no music overhead, no art on the walls, in the building and office. It was bland, the security guard.let's put it this way, a toad, no, a rock has more personality. The security guard could have a drink. Preposterous!
There should be signs no food or water. I needed water due to my meds.
The place was quieter than a morgue. A morgue probably has more entertainment.
To see an IRS agent, you have to wait for your number to be called. It's a sliding door into the cubicle. I felt like saying "bless me agent for I have sinned" then ask for penance, then absolution.
Ms Cartagena is a little bit impatient. She shows up to the counter (I was told by security to ring the bell for assistance) and says I am late for my appointment but no other person was waiting for help! Geez!
