My friends and i took ppl and flow pic hours at this school. I got ppl in 15 days. I flow my pic flights every day and any time I wanted. I join sun and fun.i think everything was perfect. I would recommend it to everyone

I left after working for IAA for a little over a year to move states and pursue a new career. The staff from the CEO, Flight instructors, Maintance team and many other still keep in touch. You may go to IAA to learn to fly or work on aircraft. But you will definitely have some life long friends when you leave. Thank you Steve, Ronnie, Derek and so many others for your mentorship.

The owner Steve, snatched my money for $11,000. My money went into his new car BMW 5 series. I'll write down the whole story if anybody wanted to know.

Great school. They are amazing. Best staff. Cool CFI, best chief flight instructor, thank you Steve. Prices are amazing, aircraft maintenance and availability is the best part.

Just finished my second week at IAA!

Words can not describe how ecstatic I am to have found this flight school. After searching for the right flight school for over 6 months and waiting over 2 hours for a scheduled appointment with a different flight school located at Lakeland Linder Airport (the program director never showed up for our meeting), I was invited to tour International Aero Academy after I saw their sign outside just one building down. IAA Director, President and CEO Mr. Steve Markhoff personally sat down with me and shared his knowledge about the industry that no other flight school offered. He took me on a grand tour of their facility and even down to their fleet of aircraft! I noticed the difference in customer service the second I walked in the door. My first week was filled with flying as I learned more than I ever thought I would in a span of 5 days. All of the flight instructors, especially mine, are absolute professionals. I received 100% financing through IAA’s lending partner, Meritize, and it was the easiest process I’ve ever encountered. I highly recommended looking into this flight school, as I know you will not regret it.

Called to try and schedule my Part 107 test only to find out that I made an error on my part. They were more than helpful and got me squared away. Went in to take my test and everything was great! Good environment and very helpful staff! Would definitely recommend for any test taking needs! Thanks!

Working at International Aero Academy has been a great experience as an employee. The CEO of International Aero Academy gives value to its employees. If I was mistreated by the CEO or anyone in this company I would not be here. I've been here long before International Aero Academy CEO took over that's 8 years, and can say International Aero Academy CEO value everyone in this company.

We were at Sun & Fun 2019 and we had a flat tire. The International Aero Academy employees, including Ronil Beato, were more then helpful in fixing our problem at a very reasonable rate. Also, they provided us a free room for the night. We strongly recommand this Company!

I’ve been here for about six months as a employee. IAA has been the best job and the most fullfilling job I’ve ever had. Great management, Great staff and Great maintenance. I have worked here as an Aircraft Mechanic for the last 5 years, IAA's main goal is to have Amazing customer service and that transfers to the employees as well. Employees are treated with dignity and respect, they strive to build and encourage their staff. It's a great place to work!

This flight school over promise. Training never happened in 2 weeks. Took more time to complete private pilot

Five one and a half hour to take a written test and got a call while parking in their parking lot that they would not be able to do it today.

Excellent staff and customer service. If maintenance and safety are not your #1 concern you should not be in aviation. This company has the most meticulous and thorough mechanics in the industry and work very hard to make the aircraft available. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I finished my PPL in around 3 weeks due to weather not cooperating but am still very satisfied. Will definitely be returning for my instrument in the fall!

Went there for an instrument proficency check. All turned out to be great. High Quality administrative staff and high quality instruction. The plane was great too. Do not pay attention to the other bad reviews, I did not have anything to complain for.

Best flight Academy I have ever been I finished my CFII in 5 days best customer service not like other fight schools gets you in anxiety they scheduled my check-ride before I started my training which you don’t find in any other school thanks international aero for the great training

Best school ever. I got my Instrument rating, ASEL/AMEL commercial, CFI and CFII.
Good instructors, Good manager, Good owner and always feeling safe with the maintenance guys.
This Is where one feels like they belong to an aviation family.

I am a CFI and New to the area and on the recommendation from a local DPE I called this school to inquire about renting an aircraft for my students CFI Initial Check Ride. The woman answering the phone transferred me to one of their instructors, I wish I had gotten a name to add to this review, but I assume it was one of their ‘men in charge. ’ He was quick to tell me that they do not rent aircraft and that I ‘am not doing my friend any favors by signing her off for her CFI. ’ Whether this man was just a sexist that doesn’t think women should fly or just that arrogant and small minded that he thinks no one can learn to fly from anyone outside of a flight school.either way I was not impressed and found the entire experience very unprofessional and concerning. I would NEVER send anyone to this school. In addition, my student passed her CFI Check Ride with flying colors. If I could give 0 stars I would have.stay far away from this school. There are PLENTY of flight schools in the area where you will not face an attitude like this and you will save money on the process. Run away!

Highly recommend! I entered the program as a prior Commercial & Instrument Rotary and Private Airplane Pilot. Enrolled in the Part 61 (hourly) program, I accomplished my Airplane Instrument, Commercial Airplane Single Engine (Land), and Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine (Land) add-on ratings in less than two months. Practical exams were coordinated before I began flying that phase of training to ensure efficiency. The administrative staff are incredibly friendly, competent, and will bend over backwards to provide excellent customer service. The Instructors vary in experience from new CFIs to former airline executives but regardless are all high quality Instructors. Every Instructor was knowledgeable and they all worked together to ensure student success. An excellent choice for both new and experienced pilots to continue their pilot training.
