I originally called someone else and it was like pulling teeth to get them to send me the estimate to do the work. In the meantime I was referred to Dane, I called and he came out right away, he diagnosed the problem gave me an estimate on the spot, I agreed, gave him a deposit.a few days later he informed me the parts for the repair had arrived, set a time to do the repair, arrived as promised and completed the work. Spa is working as good as new, Dane followed up by sending me the manual for the new control panel he replaced. I'd also like to mention that all of this took place during the hurricane Ian scare we had, no hurricane, no delays. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from Island City Spas Inc.and Dane. He knows his business, is honest and reliable.

Extremely happy with the service that Dane Stadnik, Island City Spas provided! He came quickly, easily diagnosed the problem and resolved it in that first visit. Forty five years experience really showed - he knows exactly what he's doing, and treats customers right. Highly recommend!

I had an issue with the pump on my hot tub and called Dane. He gave me a fair price and completed the repairs within a couple days as promised. Dane at Island City Spas is courteous, reasonably priced and quickly resolved my issue. Call Dane for any hot tub needs!

I had an issue with my spa and called Dane. He came out the next day and explained the problem in laymen terms so I could understand it. He was on time, courteous and profeesional and the price I paid was fair! Call Dane at Island City Spas for all of your needs!

Saw a positive review on next door and called this guy Dane, he came 2 days later after insisting several times on that a 150 payment needed to be done in cash/check for the visit only. He came and found nothing, advised to change a breaker and offered to come back after the holidays charging another 150 to change the breaker. Needless to say i declined.

I would not recommend this company nor Dane.

I've used Dane several times over the years and found him to be very professional and affordable. If you need maintenance on your spa I would highly recommend Dane! I've purchased a spa cover in the past and Dane brought me one that looked exactly like the one I received when I first purchased the unit.

Worst company ever been waiting for eight months for this guy to come and install the part finally shows up after I threaten him to go to court then the Jacuzzi you can’t even see the temperature so you can’t even heat it it’s freezing and he still doesn’t answer worst company ever should be shut down

Island city spa came and gave me a quote to fix my spa of $1500 which was not working properly. Which he said I had to give him a check because he does not take credit cards. I gave him a deposit of $750 he then came back to fix the spa and the only thing he fixed was the heater. So the spa was heated up. What was still broken was the thermostat not working and the jets were now not working as they were before.

He stated to me that for the thermostat he would have to come back and replace it but the $1500 that he quoted me did not include the pump for the jet. But he asked for the balance of $750 which unfortunately I gave him. Which should be noted that the jets were working before he did ANY work on the Jacuzzi.

Needless to say he never came back to fix the thermostat. One month after he did the work.the heater stopped working. I made numerous calls to him. The only thing he did was avoid my phone call. When I call from someone else's phone and he would pick up the line.he would make statements such as "I'm in the Doctor's office and cant talk now" "I'm in a meeting I cant talk now" "I'm going into surgery I cant talk now" and each and every time he hung up the phone on me.

This man and his company is a rip-off. The reason he doesn't except credit cards is no you have no re-cost such as a charge back or he has such a bad reputation that the credit card company's wont give him a merchant account.

If I could give -5 starts I would. I gave him $400 to fix the motor and heater of my jacuzzi and the guy by name Dane disappear. It's been more than two years and he never answer my text / phone calls. DO NOT do any service with him or his company. Worst experience I had with service comoany and a thief, he will get your money and never do the job.
