Island Doctors, Ormond Beach FL

I am 66 yrs old and the worst experience of my life was with this Dr George Schoeder. To make a long story short, in a nutshell, I would either join his diet program (which consisted of a shot of his medicine (and he couldn't even tell me what was in it) along with a B12 shot every week (I've never taken a vaccine shot, never even had a flu shot in my life,) or we would not move forward with any of my other other medical issues, which were pretty serious. I have been in Florida for a little more than 4 yrs now and thought I had seen everything, but, nope! This took it all! He had all my test results and refused to go over them with me if I would not join his weight program and take his shot! (BTW, I weigh 180 and wear a size 14 shorts/pants, as I exercise and carry muscle, which I don't consider extremely obese as he was calling me) He must be getting some kind of kick back from it or something. Old man needs to be in a nursing home not allowed to be pretending to be a Dr and risking peoples lives. Only on FL. Would behavior like this be allowed to go on and the people not be allowed by law to do anything about it. I reported him and Island Drs to the FL. Board of Health. But I doubt very seriously they will care enough to investigate it. This is FL, where it's a free for all for the businesses to do whatever they please to whomever they please.
Oh, forgot to mention. When I went to the desk to leave she handed me a prescription he had written. When I got in my car I called the pharmacy to ask what it was. They told me it was a colestrol medicine different than the one I've been taking for the past 15 yrs. I told them, if he called that in, delete it. A bigger quack I've never met in my life!

Iwouldnt go to island doctors wound care if they paid me to go back there. Rude staff, waited over 4 hours after appointment that was scheduled for my mom. When you ask for one of them staffs name everyone elopes amnesia and dont know who the staff members names is that they worked with to file a complaint with them department of health on them. Then after waiting 2 hrs past your appointment they say if your dont like it leave. Worst Dr office I ever been to in over 50 years. Dont go here unless you.want the rudest worst care you will ever get

I don't attend this Dr. Office but I know someone that does and Dr. George will prescribe any kinda of medicine at any time. Which is not good because that's how people mix drugs and get sick or worst die. And it's not good giving someone medication every single visit, for the same thing just a different medicine. The person I know can go see him 2 or 3 times and he will give the patience a prescription. Like really do you want something to happen to your patience And if something does trust me I'm going for you medical licence. Because I have pictures n dates of all the medicine you have giving your patient. You need to stop giving your patience narcotic medication that they get hooked one more mix with other medicine.

I love Rose the PA. She is attentive and thorough. I never feel rushed with her and feel like she is doing everything she can to improve my health.

Wouldn't recommend. PERIOD-!
Dr. George Schroeder will give you some free samples however, he will not listen your needs but just walk away and make you for a another appoint to see him.
It's YOU and YOUR painful body that's suffering. Think about it.
