Most fun we’ve had in years! Lori and Ricky were oh so patient with three beginners. Bring your friends. Bring your family. And feed them all what you caught that day. Did I mention there was a shark! We had a blast and I’m sure you will as well. Thank you from all of us. See you soon!

We chartered Lori’s boat this past summer and my boys and their friends had a great time. They caught the limit on snapper. The only downside is out of the 6 only 2 could fish at the same time. Understandable but the boys were a bit bummed.

As a girl that as also fished these waters for years, as you have said Lori, I feel that you have scammed us. The fish are in. We only caught yellowtail. We caught the same fish locally for nearly 1/4 the price on a party boat. When we booked this boat you told us that we catch snapper and other larger game. This is also advertised on your Fishing Broker website. When we got on the boat the day of the fishing we were told everything had gone up the coast to the colder waters. No tarpon, snook. But other vacationers staying in our complex had caught the same larger fish. We spent $800 for a solo boat which was nice, but only had 3 sandwich bags of yellowtail. Very misleading, was looking forward to the captain Lori leading the boat as a lady captain and teaching us different techniques but her deck hand was doing most of the work and smoking most of the time and talking down to you. They have on their website that they have over 4,000 marks saved, but we only went to only one. Seemed like she was conserving gas then going to different spots. We only went out about 6 miles. Made excuse after excuse for why the fish weren’t in such as the “full moon” but others caught better larger fish on the same day for cheaper! This was a $800 boat ride. Save your money.

So disappointed. Had a lobster charter scheduled for this Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Drove the 3 hours from Miami just find when we arrived that there was not a diver available. No help booking another charter and never took responsibility for the lack of communication. We know have 2 extremely disappointed kids, out of gas money and still had to pay our dog sitter. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Extremely unprofessional. But don’t worry, we were offered $100 off (barely covers our gas). Thanks for your lack of professionalism despite the fact she knew the night before that we would not be able to go on this charter.
In response to you edit: you stated you knew there was a possibility at Midnight the night before and contacted us after 10 am the following morning. If you would have contacted us with a text that cancelling may be a possibility this would have been a different discussion. Also, you offered $100, not $200. Lack of communication is unprofessional. Yes, safety is top priority and at around $900 fir the charter we expect a diver to teach and be in the water with the entire party. Like previously stated, a simple text before we drove 3 hours would have saved a lot of time and would have allowed us to make other plans instead of wasting a Saturday in the car.

Our family went out today on a lobster charter and had the BEST time. It was nice to get not just the experience, but revive the knowledge of the local area and species. Lori and Ricky went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Lori was very helpful even before we went, to make sure to answer all our crazy questions. Thank you again #IslandGirlCharters!
