I really feel that in this place they really care about my two dogs Zlatan and Kira. Dr Eastman not only visit and treat them but he gave me some good advice about how to better take care of my dogs and this shows to me how much he loves animals.

Most unprofessional clinic in Miami, Two days before traveling, I booked an appointment for the following day to have my dog get a physical exam and the doctor didn't show up! He didn't even take my call to see if he could help me. I had to re book my flights which cost me $150 dlls just because the doctor and his clinic decided to take the day off! They didn't offer any solutions. Let me be clear the doctor was not attending another emergency. He is just very unprofesional! Clinic is old and dirty! Don't trust this guys!

I had a last minute travel emergency with my pet and Island Vet was SO HELPFUL, so accommodating, and so nice. From the staff, to the vet, I love them. I don't live on the island but I'll be coming here from now on. THANK YOU!

It requires a special kind of people to care for small animals. Everyone at IVH was warm, helpful, and diligent. Empathy levels were through the roof for our dog and all others in the clinic. This is the place that pets genuinely deserve.

I've been taking my two dogs Coco and Booboo here for over 10 years. Dr. Eastham is a great doctor who always treats my dogs kindly and always comes up with a treatment plan. Taking your dog to a vet is always going to be an expensive option but it's worth it here at this clinic. I think the overall experiences I've had here with my two dogs has always ended on a positive note! Thank you for always caring and treating my babies.

A bad vet clinic run by a bad person. Cares nothing for animals and loves to perform unnecessary procedures. Extremely unfriendly and overpriced as well.

Dr. Eastman and his staff are incredible caring and professional. We had a recent medical emergency with one of our dogs, and both Dr. Eastman and Vet Tech, Daniel Delgado, went able and beyond to help us.

Dr Eastman always remembers my dog and her history of issues. He always checks to see if anything has cropped up unseen. He is very caring and compassionate. We are very blessed to have him on the island!

The owner seems to getting of on hurting animals. Me and my husband went a few months back to get our bird check, during the visit he was so ruff on her that her wing got twisted and now unfortunately she’s not longer able to fly. The doc didn’t cared, all he responded; it happens here and there unfortunately but it’s a pet and anyways should not be able to fly. Very disappointed

My 2 yr old male cat (micro-chipped and neutered) was trapped and brought here by someone (mystery to me) and they didnt bother to check his micro chip or look to see if he was neutered before sending him off somewhere else where he was put under anesthesia and had his belly shaved and ear clipped. He was then released back on the streets of key biscayne where he found his way back home.the staff had no empathy or regard for my cat when explaining what happened when brought in. Never come to this establishment.

PER YOUR RESPONSE: it is not common for cats to wear collars (also because my cat has a small head uneasy to put a collar on) and you are incorrect sir, he is microchipped and you yourself said over the phone you did not check yourself.

I brought my little baby kitten over there to get checked which i just bought, very rare Bengal cat, unfortunately out of no where my cat disappeared. They stole my cat! Do not go to that place! My attorney will file a lawsuit.

As a dog owner, I would love to say my German Shepherd is extremely well behaved, but in reality when it comes to getting her routine bloodwork, she is a big baby. Dr. Steve, made me and my dog feel so comfortable and handled her with the utmost care. If you want your companion to feel safe, cared for, and respected do yourself the favor of visiting Island Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Steve is the best!

Dr Eastman is very compassionate and my family is very thankful for all that he and his staff has done for our pets.

I highly recommend dr Eastman and all of the staff at island vet. They are great and have taken fabulous care of my puppy. They are always able to squeeze him in when he doesn't feel good. The island is very lucky to have dr Eastman and the vet here!

My husband took our new puppy to see dr eastman for the first time (with our previous pets, we have been using our friend outside the key, but with miami traffic getting so horrible, a vet visit will take 4 hrs! - not feasible). She was given her first set of shots.when i came in for her last shot - as soon as the assistant saw the dog - she grreted her by name and was sooo sweet with her, it was very awesome. He was very professional and explained everything.

During this interval of time, my cat had a huge cyst to be removed. He did a great job, they called to make sure she was ok - very reasonable as far as price
