Izgara Middle Eastern Cuisine reviews
18Izgara is a wonderful small middle eastern restaurant. The food is authentic and prepared quickly. I've never waited more than 8 minutes for an entrée. For appetizer I highly recommend their stuffed grape leaves, which I always order chilled. Then for the entrée the hummus chicken shawarma is delicious, especially in pita bread. The main course falafel is also quite good. The wait staff are very helpful and know what they're doing. Any menu item they can tell you how it tastes and the ingredients. They are also eager to make things go smoothly. Prices are slightly less expensive than comparable restaurants in the vacinity. All in all a good choice for dining.
Cannot recommend this place enough. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic.
Chicken shawarma and falafel is a must have!
Really affordable prices and delicious food. Very happy to have tried this place. I highly recommend the pita trio
Incredible service and food, but also price! Very delicious middle eastern flavors. Will be my new staple for Israeli / middle eastern cravings.
Went for lunch and was charmed with the very attentive wait staff. Their recommendations were great, the food was delicious and will definitely go back.
Delicious, savory food. The falafa’s, the chicken shawarma, lamb chops are great. Small place in a shopping plaza. Definitely a place to try for good food.
Wow, didn’t know this place was even here. First time here and it was very delicious. The falafel platter hit the spot.
Amazing! We eat here at least 2 a month, mostly to go. It’s consistently delicious and the staff is very helpful
We have been coming for over 2 years to this place, and it's still the best Middle East food you will find around!
The food is just delicious! The hummus and the baba ganoush are incredibly tasty and outstanding, and the grape leaves and falafel are also delicious! The pitas sandwiches are so so incredible and yummy!
We have been ordering takeout, and dining on weekends, the food is just soo yummy! You really can't go wrong!
Amazing! Fresh, well-seasoned, and good portions at great prices!
What more to ask for? ! The only missing star is because they are no longer making kibbe (it has been the best I have ever tried so far)
I had lunch at Izgara. Simple place with great relax atmosphere and good service. The food was excellent. Simple menu offering different range of pricing for everyone’s wallet with a well balance choices. I will have to go again…
Food was authentic and service was very pleasant. We were surprised we had not discovered this hidden gem in Plantation before today. They have been in business for 10 years and tonight I can see why! I had the schnitzel sandwich with fries inside of it. Appetizers was so good we ordered more! Falafel was phenomenal and hummus and baba Ghanoush was so delicious! They toasted the pita perfectly too! We really enjoyed the copper bowls and it impressed me that there was such perfect but minimal decor even the rest rooms! Must try this best kept secret in town right off 595 and Pine Island!
Absolutely delicious Mediterranean food & generous portions. We will definitely be back.
The customer service here is very satisfying and the food was very tasty. Dine in or call and place an order.
Did a catering for a small family gathering. Excellent service, the price was right and the food excellent
Host was very friendly and attentive. Food was good and fresh. Lamb was very tender. Food came out fast. Only thing I'd say is it's not really meant for parties of more than 5. Their tables are small.
This place was a nice surprise. We stopped on our way to Orlando, and it was well worth the short 10-minute deviation from I-75. The hummus was creamy delicious, and we ordered two trios (half pita sandwiches — one beef (spicy), one chicken (extremely tender) and one falafel. Those were the best falafel we’ve had in our lives…crunchy outside, but soft and moist on the inside, not like most falafel that tend to be dry. The pitas were so packed with protein and salad (cucumber, tomato and onion) we ended up taking an entire meal home. One trio is enough to split with another person if you order an appetizer, like the hummus. We also tried the red rice, which was very good. Mike provided excellent service, too! We will definitely come back again for more. Sorry I didn’t take pics of the food, but I got a nice shot of the lamp by the bathrooms! Lol
Had the dinner for two special. Enormous portions and great service. Definitely will be back.
