J. Alexander's Restaurant, Jacksonville FL

We went as a medium group for someone's birthday/surprise engagement proposal party and they just took out the gratuity without me knowing ($11). I dod not think the service was good at all, some of the servers were rude by just basically throwing the plate on yhe table in front of you, forgetting what i asked for or not bringing it at all and food being burnt twice so i had to order something entirely different. I will never go back again. I feel it should be my choice if you get a tip.

It's been awhile since I've been back, I will have to say the tuna was everything and more than I remembered. And their mac and cheese is amazing.

Food is good and seasoned nicely. I had the rotisserie chicken, it was very tender and seasoned, mac n cheese was soooo good (I order it everytime I come and broccoli. It was delicious! The service was great. Just wish there were more chicken options.

We dine here weekly, first time leaving a review due to our beyond exceptional service today. Jack is, bar none, the epitome of an excellent server. It’s so easy to forget how great service can effect your meal. Chicken Tenders and French Dip were fabulous, as usual. Jack’s extra attention to detail took our lunch to the next level.

A 60.00 gratuity for a server for 1 table at 2 to 3 times around plus meals that they didn't cook is crazy, don't paying for service but dang!

Hands down, my FAVE restaurant! My go to is the colossal buttermilk onion rings and bayou pasta! Service is always top notch and I have never been less than satisfied!

She was awesome very pleasant in what my situation I was going through. We all make mistakes in our lives. But JAlexander's makes things right. But Lily has been a server for us too. I give both server's 10 stars

Is our best place to eat at the town center at St Johns Place

Had a really good time celebrating with friends. The food was great and the service was excellent as usual. We may as well have had a buffet in there because all my friends tried the next persons meal because theirs was so good we just had to share.

Both the food and service was way better than average. I had steak Maui and Kyra had the ribs. Both were delicious. Consistently good food and service can be counted on at this restaurant.

I’m not kidding when i say this but this place has THE best cheeseburger and fries I have ever had in my entire life.and that’s coming from a burger enthusiast.

This staff is attentive but dis discreate so this is a great date spot for a more romantic evening although it's perfect for dinner with friends and coworkers alike. The drinks are well crafted and the food is delicious. I like the French dip and the deviled eggs.

It's a J. Alexander's.expect good food and good service. In a cool mall as a plus! Highly recommend for business meetings and meeting up with friends/colleagues.not too loud!

My wife and I just had a wonderful elegant evening at J. Alexander. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff, hospitality, ambiance and most certainly the cuisine. We had a brilliant lightly whipped Smoled Salmon Dip and the evening chef's special; Steak Brazzo (Marinated Filet Medallions finished with a Madeira wine mushroom sauce, served with smashed potatoes).

Enjoyed our meal there. If you have kids they can split the chicken tender on the main menu. Those tenders were really good.

This is one of our go to restaurants when we're looking to treat ourselves. It's located in the St. Johns Town Center near Capital Grille and the Tesla show room. They always have impeccable service and the quality is top notch. They have one of the best steaks in town, but realistically everything on the menu is great. My go to is the Steak Maui and substitute the mac and cheese instead of the mashed potatoes. If you're looking for something lighter the Ahi Tuna Salad is also great.

Consistently amazing! Seriously, the best food, the best bartenders (a real treat to have Jordan as a bartender.)
I cannot express the wonderful experience we always have with perfect food and staff.
