J. Alexander's Restaurant, Boca Raton FL

I have never had a worse experience at this restaurant. We waited 40 minuets after we asked for bread. When the waiter finally came to take our order she had no clue how big the prime rib was and answered it was somewhere between 8-14 ounces. Once the food arrive much of it was cold and the steak that was ordered medium rare with definitely medium. We tried to send it back but the manager stated that it was medium rare it is just the lighting making it look more well done. I can tell you from significant experience that piece of meat was cooked significantly above 130 degrees which is the industry standard for medium rare. Bad service and Food not expected quality.

I can honestly say everything I have ever eaten or drank at J Alexander's has been top notch.

The prime rib is my favorite as is the Mac and cheese side.

On our most recent outing I had the kentucky old fashioned and it was great. I was a little unsure if it'd be a worthy substitute for a traditional old fashioned but it definitely was. If you like old fashioneds, I think you'll enjoy this adaptation.

Oh and definitely try the banana cream pie dessert. You won't regret it.

Had friends down and they had heard about this place. Food was really good. I had the veggie burger and it was so delicious. They have some hot to choose from soeveryonr was able to get their favorite. Nice place

This place provides excellent service as well as delightful meals. My favourite restaurant in the area. The meals came out fast and the rates are affordable. I recommend this place.

Robyn is Amazing! This is hands down the best restaurant I've ever been too. Appetizers A+ Service A+ Compliments to every chef that worked today, the food was AMAZING! Believe me, you will not regret coming eat.

Great food. Spinach con Queso had great flavor. Amazing Mac n cheese. I had the ahi tuna salad and my wife had a fried chicken salad. Both were really good. Wish there was one of these in dallas.

Fantastic restaurant to go to with somewhat affordable prices. Food is always fresh and comes out quick. Great American foot for lunch or family dinners. I visit once a month for the salad shown below.

Manager Carl and Waiter Alex provided incredible service. An issue with our steaks was corrected immediately and dinner was incredible.

Love this place. Can't go too often due to the price but when I do I know I will get the best food for the price. Service is always the best. Management seems to be tight on the staff but cares about the customers above all.

Good was very good but the service was not the best. One steak had to go back twice because it was raw and they did not even comp a cup of coffee. That was a little surprising.

Meals (4 steak dinners) were all prepared exactly as ordered. Had a reservation & was seated on time. Table service was timely & knowledgeable. Pricing was a little on the high side but we will do this one again.

Excellent food, service and venue but a little expensive, some would say it's worth it for the quality.

Harmonee was great she was very bubbly and professional which was important as I had a very important business meeting and client that had met us for dinner from Wisconsin they loved the food, service and drink menu! We actually closed the bar and stayed from our 530 reservation until close!

We go to this JAlexanders at least 3-4 times a month and it is consistently outstanding! Service is excellent and the food is high quality every time. It gets very busy during dinner hours so be strategic about when you go or make reservations. The veggie burgers are the best in Boca!

Awesome place, great food, specially baby back ribs.i go there once a month at least.price is fair.my kids join us sometimes.the restaurant location another big factor, close to most boca raton places.parking is easy too.

Consistently good food.baby back ribs are definitely a must try. It may be a while before they seat you during peak hours, but worth it. Drinks are outstanding. Highly recommended.

It was the first time I came here and I had the French dip here and it was great! The dessert was also good. As for when we went on Valentine's Day, they were really accommodating when we asked if we could sit outside despite how busy it was. They were able to get us one outside and they had a special Valentine's Day menu with an amazing cheesecake. I would highly recommend.

Nice ambience in a relaxing setting with upscale food, I had filet mignon tips that were outstanding.

Our favorite place for baby backs and an overall quiet dinner. Love every item on their menu as well. Excellent service, and ambience.

Such a popular place for residents and tourists. Great service and food. Reasonably priced. Something for any taste or age.
