Jaguar Restaurant, Miami FL

This place lost its identity and neither Mexican nor Peruvian is well done.
To top it off the service is horrible. Our order was taken and the waiter forgot about us. He just stood around and looked the other way when waved at.
Their loss since we wanted to order a couple bottles of wine and cocktails.
Also on the reservation we noted we had a birthday.nothing was done for our celebration which I reminded the hostess about. Poor food. Poor service. Not worth it at all

Stopped here for pre-dinner cocktails with colleagues during a business trip. I am not a watermelon fan, but the waiter strongly recommended the Melon over Mexico, and wow, was he right - it was outstanding. So much so we stopped again the next night for another round. The spicy margarita was great too.

I came to Miami from Chicago to celebrate my son's birthday. He found Jaguars and was a great find. The food, drinks and service were great, and the ambiance. I will definitely be back on my next visit. My son had the Salmon Norma he ate it so fast I didn't get to try it next time. I highly recommend this place.

Very good service, the staff was very nice and the service was amazing. We ordered cilantro soup which was very spicy. The menu has a variety of dishes. We ordered picana and Lomo saltado, Salmon and Ceviche. The service was fast and the food was good

Absolutely incredible. First time going to this Restaurant and I was blown away, upon entering, the service and attention to detail was phenomenal. Instantly I knew this was going to be a incredible experience. Food quality was marvelous, everything was prepared and cooked to perfection. 5 Stars in my book. Highly recommend, will definitely be coming back.

This was my first time here and my husband and I are obsessed! The service was great. They recommended the black market ceviche which was the best we’ve ever had that we ordered a second one!

I got the steak tacos which were 11/10 and my husband got the chicken fried rice.

We can’t wait to come back!

We’ve been here several tienes over the course of the last two years since we moved and this place is top notch!

My favorites are the steak tacos and the picanha with the salad that had the jalapeño sauce. The flan is AMAZING. The margaritas, delicious. We were happy to see they offer their amazing merken sauce for sale.

Our server Daniela was really nice, Eduardo gave us great recommendations, the managers Paul and George made us feel so welcomed. We love coming here.

We were looking for a place to have lunch and we walked in. The staff was super attentive and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful lunch. Everything was great. We will be back soon. I highly recommend.

This is an upscale mexican restaurant and the food was amazing! We followed the recommendations from the bartender and were not disappointed. Loved the atmosphere, calm, and relaxing with dim lighting. Loved the freshly made tortillas as well.

Jaguar has been a permanent place in the Grove for a while but we had never been. Today we came in without reservations and the place was fairly full (it was early) and they sat us without problems. We opted for the Miami Spice menu and my husband and I had different plates from it. OMG! Delicious! From the apps to the dessert it was an explosion of flavors. Edgar our waiter was amazing. Really attentive and welcoming. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and I loved the vibe! We will definitely come back and try more from their regular menu. 100% recommend this great place!

Peruvian fusion style menu. Showed up on a Wednesday night and got a table right away. Ordered almost half the menu and ate family style between four people. Food was amazing, perfectly cooked, and wait times were minimal between dishes being brought out. We ate:
- Ceviche Peruano
- Tiradita Lima
- Smoked Fish Croquetas
- Grilled Picanha with Giant Shrimp
- Grilled Octopus
- Lomo Saltado
- Arroz Chaufa
- Dulce de Leche Cheesecake
- Bread Pudding

I was extremely hangry this afternoon while waiting all morning for my boyfriend to return to the hotel from a fishing trip (the boat broke down so he came back at an unanticipated time). My boyfriend suggested this restaurant based off great reviews, photos, and close proximity to our hotel. We walked about 5 minutes to get here and chose a 3 course lunch special for $35 each. We chose the shrimp, quesadilla, salmon entree and flan dessert. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the flan was amazing! It was DELICIOUS! Our server Eduardo was great, he checked on us in a timely manner and all of our food arrived quickly. George was the general manager and recommended an amazing coffee and made sure all of our food was to our satisfaction. I walked in hangry and walked out in an amazing mood with a full appetite and a happy boyfriend. The atmosphere, music, and cocktails were also a plus! It’s definitely one of my top restaurants and I can’t wait to visit Miami again for another great meal here.

We had Eduardo as the server. Amazing Service and amazing food. The lunch special was absolutely to die for. My girlfriend said this is now her favorite restaurant. She was in a horrible mood and extremely hungry full blown hangry when we walked in. After our meal she couldn’t stop raving about it. Highly recommend. George was the general manager and he made sure everything was perfect. He recommended a great coffee to go with the Flan!

Amazing dinner in coconut grove with second to none service. Our waitress, Valerie, couldn't have been better, and the manager Michael was incredibly kind for taking great care of my party. They gave perfect recommendations!

Literally the best steak tacos i’ve ever had in my life and the cheesecake was soooo amazing i felt like i was in heaven.i definitely recommend 10000/10
