One of the best places I have had since moving to Orlando. I work across the street and have driven by countless times. This weekend, I finally took a chance and order. *Best. Decision. Ever. *

The food: some of the most flavorful and well prepared I've had in a long time. You can taste the care and love put into the dishes across the board. When I tell you that you'll feel at home at the first bite, I mean it. It's like a hug.

The staff and owners: They immediately make you feel like family. They are so kind and work so hard to ensure your experience with them is fantastic whether you're dining in or out. If you haven't stopped in, you should. They greet you like you've been coming in for years.

Overall, I love this place and now that I've tried it, it's a staple of my lunch and dinner meals whether I'm on or off the clock.

Probably ate 10 patties in 2 days here. So fresh and flaky.

Also had the Jerk sandwich. Classic setup and flavor explosions.

Service is chill but dope.

This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. First of all I asked the vegan fish sandwich and the cashier said that I said meal. Don't ever put words in my mouth. The cashier assume that I wanted a meal when I actually wanted a sandwich. Two they never have anything that I actually want. I ask if they have vegan soy drumsticks they run out. I ask if they have the spinach patty. They never have it. They don't keep stock of things on their menu. Unless you are from Florida don't eat here ever. This restaurant sucks.

The food is always good. The price is a bit high, however it's convenient after getting out a club and going to eat something that feels like home. There jerk chicken is.this is definitely better then going to I hop or dennys.

Food was very bland rice tasted like its just sitting in water ox tail tasted like nothing ive had jail food with more flavor dont come here

This cute eatery in the middle of downtown Orlando is a nice touch. Its been a minute since I've had some good Caribbean eats. I miss Farah my Caribbean sis for those Oxtails (my goodness). Well, Jam-Eng gave it to me today. Farah straight from St. Mary is smiling on me through this deliciousness wrapped in Caribbean warmth. Thanks Jam-Eng for helping me end the week some very good eats and positive Caribbean Vibes! Happy New Year and thanks for the "drop off" the bone Oxtail goodness!

Went downtown for Christmas and after came to this spot. The gentleman who worked that night had HORRIBLE customer service and also the food must’ve been sitting out all day per hospital as I know have food poisoning after eating from them. They do not cook their food there. When I looked in the back the had a tub full I’ve rice just sitting in a clear large tote. The food was disgusting, the brown stew chicken had no type of taste at all. Don’t go here!

New to Orlando—walking on side walk—passed the restaurant door, that was opened—smelled incredible Caribbean food smells—and was so excited when I entered the restaurant & saw, that they have—fresh beef & vegetable patties for purchase, as well as, other Jamaican fare! I purchased the 2 patties—2 for $5–great deal, & they were delicious!

I visited your location in the Oviedo Mall. I was charged $84.for a large oxtails and a large brown stew chicken and an extra side of cabbage. The brown stew chicken had great flavor. Unfortunately as far as the oxtails it was the end of the day and I got more potatoes than oxtails in my serving. Unfortunately it was a to go order so it was not realized until I got home. I have never had a Jamaican put potatoes in their oxtails, but to each his own. For that amount of money and low quality, I won’t be able to support this location.

Jerk Chicken BANGIN, Ox Tails BANGIN, customer service BANGIN. The ox tails were special. Every bite was tender and flavorful! Thanks yall!

Jam-Eng has a location in the Oviedo Mall, this location should be avoided. I ordered oxtails on two separate occasions. Today I got 1.5 oxtails, my first visit wasn't much better. What looked like a lot more oxtails was actually potatoes. I got a lot of potatoes and rice but only 1.5 oxtails, all for $24. On both my visits, the dish was very dry, not much sauce/juice and it was all somewhat bland. Lastly, the cabbage had a unique and strange taste, which was not good. I gave this place a second chance but unfortunately I was disappointed both times.

They should take down the sign for Vegan Spot as they have not had any or enough in stock.

This restaurant sucks. I have been there 3 times in the last 3 months and everytime I order vegan plate they never have any left. Now tonight I called to ask do you have the Vegan chicken before I drive 20mins to the location and a Black women said yes we have it. I get all the way here 20mins later and she said let me double check and came back and said sorry we out of vegan chicken. I said are you serious? She sorry but they have the vegan fish. I said give me 2 plates and she charged my card. Then 5 minutes later and said we only have 1 plate available. I said give me my dam money back.yall lost a customer.

Also false advertisement as they have a whole wall menu with 10 vegan dishes yet they stated they hardly have any other options just chicken & fish.

Jam eng had a versatile menu with a great selection of veggie and vegan meals. The salmon dinner was delicious. And the service was top tier Caroline took special care of us making sure we got home safely going above and beyond most definitely will be going back there some time soon. Stay blessed guys

The ox-tail is amazing and the service. My husband got the jerk chicken and it was also darn delicious! Highly recommend spot!

No bueno, how are you stingy with cabbage? The only options were rice, cabbage and Mac. I kid you not they gave us five pieces of cabbage 5!

Last night I buy a small jerk chicken dinner I was very happy with the meal the cabbage is freshly cook and well seasoned everything was freshly cook, the food was so good I buy 2 large plates this how I am use to jam Eng meals delicious and fresh I am so please with food everything taste good and I will always buy my meals here thanks again for serving us delicious meals.

Is it normal for the people at the counter to be drunk? I was sitting waiting for my order until I walked up to them asking about it. My order was sitting on the counter in a bag and no one said anything to me. The food was so mediocre, probably the most bland Jamaican food I’ve ever had
