JB's on the Beach reviews
27Beautiful evening at JB's on the beach with my cousins. Austin, our server was delightful. I would highly recommend the coconut shrimp snd spinach dip appetizers. We all had fish for dinner. I would highly recommend the fresh catch of the day, branzino, and mahi. They were all delicious! We will be back soon.
The reggae music was extremely nostalgic, food was tantalizing, staff was extremely excellent and the restaurant was spacious.
I lso enjoyed the sight, sound and smell of rain, and the beach with volley ball player's in the background.
Thank you JB's on the Beach for a well spent 4th July 2021 Family Dinner.
Kind of disappointed in this place. My family and I came to Deerfield Beach on a family vacation and were really looking forward yo dining here based on the positive reviews. I made a reservation for 7: 00pm on a Monday night for patio dining. Got there 15 minutes early and had to wait until the time of our reservation which was completely fine. 7: 00 came and went and my family and I were still waiting even though there were others that arrived after our reserved time that were seated on the patio before we were. We were finally seated at 7: 30. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was pretty good. Although it did take quite a while to come out and some of it wasn’t warm enough. One person in our party ordered pasta and stated that it tasted like it had been sitting out for quite some time. The ribs were fall off the bone and the fish and chips were enormous! The view was beautiful and it was definitely amazing watching the ocean as it got dark. Parking is $6 per car and hi h is fine bit they don’t tell you that parking is cash only. There’s an ATM in the restaurant that charges 3% of the amount you withdrawal. For the price of the meal I would have liked to have had better service.
This restaurant makes me wanna move down here. The food was spectacular! I didn't care what the price was. I just wanted to order one of everything. The coconut shrimp! Was amazing! The trout amazing! The flat breads amazing!
We came here for Father's day and they had live music and amazing views to the beach. We only had drinks since we had lunch elsewhere. We will definitely come back.
The views are the only reason to go here. The food used to be pretty good, but has seriously gone down hill. The waitstaff here are horrible. They all seem annoyed to be serving. Do NOT plan any large events here, they automatically add gratuity, which is normally fine, except it makes the staff here totally rude. Their tip is not dependent on their service, and they make sure you know it. I will not be returning here.
Beautiful restaurant right on the beach on Deerfield. There are tables inside and outside. There is a brunch menu on weekends and dinner menu later. Many of the brunch items include a mimosa. Valet parking available for $6 which is worth it because parking could be very challenging on weekends. Service was friendly and fast.
We visited a few places on vacation on Pompano, and this one didn't disappoint. Good beachy atmosphere and a great beach side patio. The food was very good with good prices and portions.
A great location in Deerfield Beach with inside/outside seating. Good service, great cocktails. They take reservations too. Our dinners were very tasty. I can't believe I don't have food porn to share, sorry! Valet parking is practically unavoidable due to lack of self parking spots all around this busy area of the beach
Very accommodating. However steep incline into restaurant can be challenging for the not so agile.
Love this spot! Food is great, service is friendly and the location on the Beach is great. The ceviche is my favorite!
Hard to go back there knowing there's no more lobstah tatah tots. Nice people, accommodating to gluten allergy. Steak was cooked perfectly
Only had dessert but some friends had dinner earlier and I heard it wasn't the best. My barmaid was great though and muy dessert was awesome.
Great place on the beach! Fish tacos are awesome however, my only complaint is the pigeons walking around your feet outside.
Not a bad place. Pretty fresh seafood and good cocktails. A bit pricey but right on the beach. Update: we went back for dinner tonight. The menu was limited at best. The food was good
It was passable. Over priced, not great service and the $31 fish was overcooked. Not a great experience.
Suspect service, food was not very good, had conchless chowder and under cooked ribs. SAD! And now the GM acts if nothing is wrong. VERY ARROGANT!
We had a party of six for dinner around 7: 30 pm and when we got there we were seated rite away, the staff was very friendly and courteous, we ordered four appetizers and six entrees, the coconut shrimp, boce balls etc.were excellent. The surf and turf was very good as well. If you like beer they have a nice selection of local breweries, my favorite was the Funky Buddha Pineapple Beach. The prices where very reasonable.
Used to be a good place. This time was a bad experience. The food was not good. I ordered some ribs that were as dry as the sand on the beach.
Favorite restaurant
Be warned ONE order can ve shared with THREE PEOPLE. Their servings are ridiculously huge. The food is amazing.
