I had a horrible experience at another location, however this location corrected my issues and made my experience with Jcpenney Portraits much better! Awesome Photographer, she made my 1yr old smile and be happy for the session. I would most definitely return to this location because they were awesome! Thanks to Liz and the Altamonte team!

We've been to this location three times now and I can say that we definitely enjoy it. We've done our daughter's three month, six month and nine month photos and family photos here. They have fun props and the photographers are always patient with the little one.

We book the appointments online and specify our plan for photo props or outfits if applicable. They have a ton of great props and ideas there too though! They frequently do offers for special packages like Valentine's day, newborn photos, family groupings, etc. You can sign up for their mailing list and get some good coupons and find out dates of photo style openings.

I recommend buying the digital album as you get all the photos from your session!

So after spending $112 on our Christmas photos we were supposed to receive them digitally within 24-48 hours. After 3 days I contacted the store and they advised me it may take up to 72 hours so I waited another day.still nothing. After making several calls and spending my personal time on hold, I was told they forgot a letter in my email so therefore they sent it to the wrong email. (Yet they managed to get the correct email for my payment). After telling them the correct email, I was told that I’d receive them in another 24-48 hours. 2 days passed and I still didn’t receive the photos so I called again and was told they would call and deal with the issue. The next day I was told they should be resolving it as we speak and they would call me back that day I didn’t receive a call back until the following day and was told to call customer service myself because they weren’t getting to the bottom of it being the middle man. When I called customer service I waited 30 mins on hold. When I spoke to someone we came to the conclusion that they misspelled my email for the second time and the lady repeated the email a few times in which I confirmed then was told I would receive the pictures in 24-48 hours. Almost a whole week I had to wait which means now I couldn’t get them out to our loved ones in time and spent hours of my own time on the phones trying to resolve the issue. They didn’t offer me anything for the inconvenience, I had to ask for some type of reimbursement and they offered me a coupon for $25 dollars off in which I’m pretty sure is accessible to anyone. I’m absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed with the service provided at this location and will not be going through JC penny portraits again. What bad business on their part. Just hoping I actually receive my photos within 24-48 hours.

Awesome Photographer, she made my sleepy 1yr old smile and be happy for the session. With the Groupon, this is a deal you can't miss. They were clean, professional, and very nice. 10/10 will go again.

Love the way me and my babies holiday pics came out I bought my own props but they still have quite a few to use. They were Very patient, we all know babies can be challenging when it comes to taking pics. 4 stars because either the a/c was not on or it wasn’t working it was so hot but other than that I definitely recommend.

I can’t say enough how pleased I have been year after year. The staff is always so pleasant and make the experience fun and easy with kids. They did not give me a heads up that they weren’t going to have any props because of covid but I understood and got my own in the store. The pictures turned out amazing. I don’t think I have ever had a bad photography session at this location!

I'm beyond thrilled with my experience at this location. The girls were all super sweet! We did photos with my 20 month old and newborn twins. They did an amazing set of newborn photos, and beautiful pictures of the three kids, and whole family. Definitely recommend!

My pictures always come out amazing but I picked up my Christmas cards and was highly disappointed in their quality. Very poor quality and the pictures on the cards are blurry and it's a matte paper, not glossy. That was not something I was told by the associate. Plus the "extras" changed and I couldn't get the magnet I always get. I've never been disappointed before. But I'm extremely disappointed with this experience.

Great with my toddler children. The session was fantastic and the pictures were beautiful. The photographer was very responsive to my concerns.

I had a great experience getting business headshots taken at the J. C. Penney Altamonte Mall location. Elizabeth, my photographer, was excellent. She was very professional, would go an extra mile to make sure my hair looked okay, and she took great shots. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this place.

The best experience ever. We went for family photos. We enjoyed it so much and we were all smiling happily and enjoying the moment. I would like to especially shout out for Krystal.she did an amazing job, was so kind, and clearly enjoyed her job. She explained the process and packages details clearly and made our work so easy. Photos are beautiful. Krystal deserves all the credit. Overall, it was amazing. Krystal you rock!:)

Simply the best experience ever. The people there were amazing and took amazing photos. My mom came into the photo place stressed out saying that her makeup was terrible and that she didn't look nice. The ladies there reassured her that he looked beautiful. They even helped touch up her makeup to make her look even better. The people there were very patient, and clearly very committed to getting the best photos possible. I enjoyed it so much and we were all smiling and laughing with enjoyment. I would like to especially shout out Krystal. It was her fist day, but she did so amazing, was so kind, and clearly enjoyed her job. Please give her the credit she deserves. Overall, it was amazing.

I’m very disappointed with how the pictures came out. The photographer was nice but she just wasn’t good. She missed a lot of opportunities to click when my baby was smiling. I had my other two children photographed as well and the pics came out with their eyes closed just sloppy and unfortunate. She also had to retake a few shots I’m not sure why because most of the pictures still came out awful. They put the Happy Easter words in the pictures after crookedly and just carelessly. It was not crowded at all and she still rushed through the session! I’ve had great photography experiences at other JC Penney studios where every picture was amazing but this was by far the worst. I regret buying anything from them. I hope they can get a better photographer or I hope she can become more diligent in what she’s doing.

Ridiculous wait time. Our appointment was at 5: 15pm and we ended up waiting until almost 7pm for our pictures to be taken. I will never go there again.

Last night we did our pictures for the holidays and the photographer was amazing.she was able to get smiles from my toddler 100% recommended
