Jeffrey L Horstmyer, MD, PA reviews
9He was wonderful and very compassionate and his staff was very nice very helpful and happy with them all!
Excellent experience. Dr. Horstmyer is professional, sincere and knowledgeable. I am confident in his advice and opinion. He takes time to listen, and the appointment never feels rushed. He is the best neurologist for evaluation and treatment. The office staff were efficient and caring and very helpful with the setting of my appointment. Highly recommend.
The doctor, Valeria and Ernestina are so welcoming and pleasant. Dr. Horstmyer took all the time needed to set my mind at ease, and respected my concerns. 10 stars!
I have seen De. Horstmyer a couple times now. He is an amazing doctor. He addressed and heard all of my concerns and make sure to give me the best treatment for my care. He was very attentive to make sure I knew about my condition and different options of treatment. The staff is amazing. Lizzie the nurse practitioner and Camila the MA were very kind and attentive to my care. I would recommend this doctor, not many doctor out there really care about their patients, and he really does. Overall my experience in this office was amazing.
If I could give them 2 and a half, I would. Dr Horstmyer was is a great doctor and I enjoyed meeting him; however, the people he surrounds himself with (the staff) have the worst customer service. I had an appointment with the doctor and he ordered some bloodwork. I went to quest for the lab work today and nothing had been ordered. Thankfully I had the report the doctor's office gave to me. But it had no codes! It is not the job of the lab to assign the codes - the office should have ordered that ahead of time. I called and spoke with Isabel who said she would email the nurse. Well the nurse didn't get the message until after I left the lab. I couldn't get all the bloodwork completed and the whole thing was a huge hassle and waste of my time. I tried calling a few times and Isabel put me on hold immediately. Just horrible people lacking any customer service. And the lady that works the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. This office needs some serious lessons on how to treat their patients. It is a good thing we have other neurologists in the Miami area.
Please read previous reviews about his bad bedside manners. Rude and beyond unprofessional. This doctor gaslighted me the whole half hour we spoke, with him disregarding how I felt with “nonsense” and remarks on how I would “end up homeless” when he just met me. Anything I stated was “wrong” and “ridiculous” to him, going out of his occupational field to state that as a new patient, I “am doing nothing to get better”. Please save your time and money from such a condescending doctor. His nurse practitioner was eons above professional than his rhetoric on judging me by one glance. She would make a perfect doctor and was compassionate enough to take the time to explain every minute detail with wonderful bedside manners right before this horrible doctor entered the room.
Dr. Horstmeyer was personable & friendly during my visit. His office was tidy & there was only one person ahead of me in the waiting room. He was very reassuring after having taken the time to listen & answer all my questions.
Dr. Horstmyer and his team, especially Ernestina, were absolutely a delight to work with. They were prompt, professional.caring, and incredibly helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend them as a practice.
Sincerely,
Cameron
Worst experience at a Doctors office. I waited 1 hour and 40 min and absolutely no one had the decency to apologize for the waiting or at least provide an excuse for the tardiness. Twice (once at the 1 hr mark and then 1: 15 min mark) I went outside to let the office staff know that I was still waiting. They don’t respect or care about patients.
