Jerk Hut Jamaican Grille & Rhum Bar, Tampa FL

Ordered food for party a week in advance and paid full price. On the daytime I was to pick up food, it wasn’t ready. Waited over three hours before the manager eventually told me they didn’t have my order! Because I had already paid (and the payment had already posted to my account, I waited an additional hour for them to prepare the food.) Note: Make sure you have/bring proof of purchase to this place! I have used their catering service several times before this and the service has always been good. The food was as delicious as I expected, but the quality of service was terrible! This experience will make me think twice before using them again!

We used to love this place! Haven’t went in over a year. The food is not what it used to be. The cabbage was undercooked, the jerk chicken and curry chicken was dry. The rice was mediocre! Will not be going again!

That rice though! And I was just turned on to the beef patties.try them if you haven't.
The inside isn't open yet (as of June 2021) but the carry out setup works efficiently.

Long wait time. I ordered the fish it wasn't seasoned. I was expecting the same great tasty food. The quality isn't the same!

OMG! Best service, best Caribbean food in Tampa! I had the ox tails and the meat just fell off the bone. The beans and rice are to die for. I could not eat it all. I made a second meal out of it. Highly recommended. I'm going back.

Customer service isn't that good, and they sometimes tend to mess up orders, but the food is delicious

Turned out to be a a very disappointing meal.they forgot several items in our take out order and the food was incredibly dry.

Overdue review of a great experience. We placed an order for food for a dozen people about a month ago. Food was ready on time, hot, and awesome. Highly recommended. I wish this location was closer to my house.

Good food. Place could use some cleaning. Health Department check this place out. I will not be back unless they do some major cleaning.

GREAT lunch buffet, reasonably priced, with outstanding table service!

Dont waste your time, we waited over an hour & never received our food. Then were charged for the single beer i drank.

I've been going to this restaurant at its various locations and have never experienced such awful customer service in the past 3 years. I will probably not go there again. Sad experience.

Extremely disappointed.called in an order for one shrimp and one chicken roti and two additional roti skins.the place was so busy I paid for my order and walked our.got home and was in shock I was charged $36.00!

I've been here a bunch and the experience can vary. On the good days everything is great. On the bad days, the food is great. It's cheap too, go for it!

I took my wife to this establishment for the 1st time and we absolutely loved it. The food, service and customer service was awesome.

The food here is delicious, I love the oxtails and bread pudding. Is always my weekend stop for lunch or dinner.

Took my mother in law out for a "get out da houz" luncheon and we decided upon their buffet.we loved every bite. The atmosphere was pleasantly laid with comforting music in the background playing at the right level. The people around had good vibes and seems to be enjoyn what they were doing amongst themselves. I felt comfortable as I enjoyed each choice from the food bar.red beans and rice and curry chicken

Sooo good. Vegetarian options on curry and spicy food plus the carnivores were happy with the lunch buffet. Plantains so good and mac n cheese like grandma made.

Disappointed at quality of the beef patties.they were hard. The sorrel was good. Young lady at the desk did not know what they had available and what they were out of.little frustrating. All other experiences were very good. I will still go back

Servers are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. Will be going back for the lunch buffet.
