JJ Cafe, Fort Lauderdale FL

Monica is who took my order over the phone. After asking her the lunch specials for the day, I also asked her what’s in the soup “shrimp corn chowder” she literally told me, “ listen honey I don’t have time, and I’m busy” I’ve encountered awful customer service before, but never so broad and vivid. Never ever again in life would I step foot in that place. Not to mention, the food is sometimes GREAT and other times mediocre.

Our Family of 7 meet there for the first time today after being told about JJ’s. The food was verrrrrry good and the service was awesome. We have already made plans to return again.

The food is good and the service is outstanding. Very nice and familia environment. Servers are very nice and attentive. I noticed that customers are regular and very happy to come to JJ Café. Is an small place with a very good vibe.

Absolutely love this place! The service is remarkable! Momo is an awesome server who made you laugh the whole time and made feel like you are a part of the family. The size of the portions are huge and there’s lots of options for everyone in the family. Will definitely be coming back specially with it being so close to home.

Have been ordering from here for over 8 years- this place rarely misses its usually a hit. LOVE LOVE LOVE their salads I dont know what they do to the chicken but it is delicious! I have never ordered something that disappoints breakfast, lunch, salads, sandwiches all 10/10 and super fast service I usually have my orders DELIVERED within 30 mins of ordering. Cant say enough great things.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS CAFE AGAIN. IVE BEEN ORDEING FROM THIS PLACE FOR 2 YEARS SAME ADDRESS, which is little 4 mins away from the Café and today some rude lady gets on the phone and tells me they don't deliver there anymore because the driver doesn't want to drive that way. I kindly told her I've received orders from you for the last 2 years at this address and her response was " well you can go somewhere else then"

I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. I ordered my steak medium well and when it arrived the steak was cooked well done. I figured I’d call the facility to let the know only because I truly do not like my steak well done or else I would of let it go and ate it. When I spoke to the manager she has the audacity to tell me that she bagged the food herself and that the steak was cooked medium well. I truly didn’t like her comment because that was not the case. - don’t lie and make your customer feel uncomfortable. I was so thrown off. Attached you will see what a well done steak looks like for your reference. I won’t be ordering from here again- not because the food taste bad or because it was over cooked but because of her comment. Completely uncalled for and unnecessary.

If I could give them a zero stars I would! They are so rude everything time you call! I’ve been ordering lunch here for my business for 2 years and today I get told “the driver doesn’t want to drive to you today “ My office is 4 mins down cypress creek…. I just think they are being lazy today and then I get told “we’ll you don’t need to order from here “ get customer service!

Been ordering from this place on uber eats for years. They have great food, they do well with their uber orders anyways I called after placing my order on uber eats a minute before to add an item on, the lady that answered the phone told me I would have to place another order through uber eats (pay another fee) that was very inconsiderate and because of that poor customer service I will not be ordering from them again. Talk about poor service. Peace out!

I have to say by far the best French toast was a little disappointed they forgot the syrup and whipped cream but it honestly didn’t need it it was great

We order breakfast from this place and bring to the office every now and then, the owner is always friendly. This morning the grumpy lady answering the phone (not the owner) pretty much sent me away because I am way too late ordering 9 meals for Monday (it is Friday 10: 40am!). I imagine another place will be happy to take my order.

Super friendly staff. Great vibe walking in like I've been coming for years. Bathroom was the cleanest I've been in. The food is like down home cooking at a very reasonable price.

Excellent biscuits and gravy (best I've tasted in a while!). Great, attentive service. Only gripe was the bacon, although cooked to perfection, was not that warm

What an unexpected delight. The food was great. The price was awesome. Serious casual classic diner feel and the service was out of this world

I have visited JJs at least 10 times since I quickly throughout five stars for review. I love that they serve breakfast all day. The food is great and the staff is incredibly friendly patient and professional. I always get an egg and cheese croissant. The French toast is great as well. My husband loves that there is a non-pork sausage option and so do I!

My breakfast was delicious! I asked for onions on my chopped steak, so not sure if it comes with them already. Also they pre-buttered my English muffin which was a nice touch. And they include condiments that make sense with your dish. Other diners need to take note! Little things like this matter so much! Thank you all!

Flying out of Ft. Lauderdale, I needed a quick bite and wanted to support local.
I phoned a friend who resides in the area and she suggested JJ Cafe since it is on the way to the airport.
I literally just get off the turnpike and have just enough time for a quick grab and go. So I Google directions to JJ Cafe and after I exit off of the turnpike going east on commercial boulevard, I was there in no time.
I pull into the parking lot of a strip mall, well weathered, but hungry I decide to continue my journey for a quick bite.
I park and enter the restaurant and am immediately greeted by warm smiles and self-seating. I take a seat and I place my order for fish grits. My guest had turkey sausage and biscuit.
The service, outstanding! The camaraderie, full of Hallmark moments. -it appears to have a hometown following, however; the quality of the turkey sausage and the fried fish has room for improvement. The grits are ok. The eggs, I had mine scrambled light, is appetizing.
A bit pricey for the quality but a sure stop for the locals.

Incredible breakfast and very friendly staff. I just moved here from Arizona and I have been here already four times in the last week, I am definitely a regular.

Horrible smell starts when there making the home fries and there taste is so plain and bad the omelet was no flavor staff is nice just not a good breakfast joint, makes me not wanna eat breakfast ever again and to make worst matter you end up leaving the horrible smell on you

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was quick. The staff was very friendly and professional. The establishment very clean. Party of 3 and we all loved our food. Western and ham/cheese omelette, French toast, home fries, has brown. Thank you Monique (our server).
