My Story:
I NEEDED MY New HEADLIGHTS for 2009 Honda civic INSTALLATION A. S. A. P. So I can SEE at NIGHT!
So I went to JOHN ERB and explained my car came from AZ and my old headlights were damaged by the AZ Sunlight.
I purchased brand new headlights and needed them INSTALLED so I drove to John Erbs shop And asked him to install them SO I can see at NIGHT.
Of course, he said YES. And they did an awesome job, it didn’t take too long, price was good to. Thank You JOHN ERB! I appreciate the HONESTY and TRUTHFULNESS my NEW LIGHTS are so BRITE NOW. I been going to JOHN ERBs for years

My Story:
I had a 2011 Hyundai Hatchback Black 5sp Manual just passed my 100,000 warranty. I had a INTERMITTENT no START with NO clicking sounds from my STARTER. Went to ADVANCED AUTO PARTS next to JOHN ERB`s got NEW OE STARTER then went back to JOHN ERB'S for install. JOHN ERB performed a DIAGNOSTIC on my car from his desk and said it's probably the CLUTCH POSITION SENSOR and/or STARTER RELAY that ADVANCED AUTO mis-diagnosed. AND said I'll be able to RETURN STARTER to ADVANCED AUTO and gave me a WARRENTY with TOWING IF I BREAK DOWN AGAIN. So JOHN ERBS staff had me DONE in 1 hr with NO APPOINTMENT. I RETURNED that NEW OE STARTER, purchased STARTER RELAYS and put them in myself. VERY IMPRESSED with the HONESTY and They get 5 STARS. SO FAR SO GOOD. I'll Be BACK for my NEXT repairs if I need anything.

So much appreciate John Erb and his level of service. Above and beyond. Truly an outstanding individual. Thank you, John and everyone at John Erb's. I am grateful to have this amazing shop around the corner.

Brought in my car Thursday, it didn’t get looked at until Saturday afternoon. Got a quote for $950, two other places I’ve called quoted $600 and $453 for the same thing.seems almost predatory.

A manager did help me, and got pricing down to $600, but at this point because of the inflated first quote, I’ll never spend another dollar here.

I don’t usually write reviews, but have to say the amazing service we got from Henry here! I had dropped my engagement ring in between the chair and center console and it was wedged where I couldn’t reach. In a panic, I called the closest auto repair shop. As soon as we got there, Henry helped us out, took the chair off, and was able to reach my ring! He wouldn’t accept any payment or tip, but helped us out of the good of his heart. I highly recommend this place for any job. Thank you so much Henry!

Good people, family owned business. They go to my grandmother's church and our whole family takes our cars there anytime something needs fixing. They won't milk you for every dollar they can get or take advantage of your lack of knowledge if you are not a car person. I've been going to them for 14 years since I first got my car and started driving and I would highly recommend them to anybody for car repairs

We went there to get a moving truck and the person at the front desk was very helpful and understanding because we needed the truck for a few days and maybe more because we didn't know if the place we were moving into would be ready, and we even needed it for another day and he didn't give us any trouble and understood why, great service, great people.

Took car in because it was running rough. Told them it was like it was running out of gas. Fuel pump maybe? After a major tune up costing $1500 plus. Car still runs like it did before tune up! Is it normal to replace a thermostat and radiator cap when doing tune up? Found out from another shop it only needed fuel pump for the fraction of what was spent for tune up. I am very disappointed and will not go back. A waste of hard earned money. Sad

We needed a truck for a move, and these guys were great. They were friendly, worked with my timetable, and affordable! Hopefully I'll never move again (so say we all!), but if I must I'll call here first!

The whole staff was absolutely wonderful and even helped solve an issue with our car carrier quickly. Very pleasant and extremely helpful!

A thief and a liar I'm john Erb's I Lied about Ralph Fernandez. We try to set Him up and our shop. Because He had money. Yes we did have him arrested. He was so innocent he beat the Criminal charge.

Wasn't cheap. They did do a good job though and even detailed my nephews POS that we brought in for engine work.

Everyone there is kind and helpful. Mr. Erb was also there, very nice guy! Pleasure to work with them!

These guys are the real deal. I see a lot of complaints about wait times or poor workmanship. The wait times are because everyone else around knows these are the guys to go to, so yeah you may have to wait but they'll tell you exactly how long you'll be waiting and when you can bring your car back in to be serviced same day based on their queue. As far as workmanship? I had no issues and I can assure you no big box car shop can compare. I like to do my own work on my car but there's still plenty that's a little above my pay grade, so when that happens I know I'm bringing my cars here.

You will be told an estimate of costs, you will be called again if something comes up to change the cost and asked if you wish to proceed. Their labor price is fair for what you get. I brought my car in twice for some minor repairs after buying it used. They remembered me from previous times I brought a car in and were happy to work with me again.

All anyone really wants from their mechanic is professionalism, integrity and workmanship and these guys got that. What more is there to say?

I purchased RV tires from Mavis Auto and had a blowout on I-75 last April. I had to have our coach towed to John Erb for damage repair. John immediately noticed that Mavis had installed Jeep Wrangler tires for my steer tires. We were lucky we were not killed when the blow out occurred. John put me into a new pair of Michelins with directional tread and we had no problems driving through 18 states and 11 national parks last summer. John and his staff earned my trust and respect. This is the only place I will take my coach to have serviced. Thank you Mr. John

Spent thousands… go to get in my car and the problem is still there, didn’t drive off the lot. Spent thousands more because whatever they did to ‘fix’ it ended up breaking something else and I basically had to get a whole new transmission after I spent thousands on other things that could’ve waited. They wouldn’t take accountability. Very dishonest mechanic and takes advantage of younger women. Go down the street to Honest 1 where they actually give you a warranty.

Oh and your car will sit in his lot for over a week in direct sunlight before they even look at it because they’re somehow ALWAYS short staffed. Wonder why.

The guys were nice but ultimately it took an extra week than they said it would to even just look at it. Then I got it back and the steering wheel was off kilter, the right side is closer to me than the left (took it back and they had no clue), went straight to the auto parts store behind so I could clean the greasy steering wheel, and 3 weeks later I’m still trying to get rid of the ants I now have (cleaned, vacuumed, ant traps, etc). I went here bc of the good ratings but just did not have a great experience unfortunately.

I had an alignment done there they never gave me a print out of the before of my camber, caster and toe or an after print out for the alignment. I asked for them with John Erb present and they looked at me like I was speaking gibberish. Always have and request before you pay for a before print out of your alignment and an after print out. Honestly felt like they just wanted to take my money and wouldn't recommend getting an alignment done here even though they have 1 of the best priced 4 wheel alignments around Tampa doesn't mean a thing if the customer is at risk.
