Jon Sweet, MD, Sanford FL

Dr. Sweet is the best of the best and I'm sad he is retiring. I've been with him 15 years and he delivered both of my children. He saved my 1st born and I will forever be grateful. I followed him from Altamonte to Sanford without hesitation because he truly is an amazing Dr.

This is by far the WORST experience I’ve had with a professional office from the Staff “ Marie “ wouldn’t give her last name. And the Doctor himself. First they lied saying Doctor wasn’t in office then said he refused me care. I searched two weeks to find a doctor to accommodate me to where my kids could come alone because my husband got called to station as he works in the army I have no support and my mother died last year so my kids have to come with me. This office exactly said if you have to bring them you can, I said okay great thank you so much and scheduled my appointment, I was so relieved. I have HG which is a very Serious condition during pregancy so seeing a doctor is extra appointment I’m almost 14 weeks haven’t seen a doctor and extremely sick. The day before my appointment they called saying they had a code red or something and that visitors aloud not even my kids which defeated the whole purpose of searching those weeks for a doctor that told me YES.i was so disappointed. Then today I called to reschedule because I very much needed to be seen and my husband is back and I can come with no visitors to accommodate their rules. And they said no they won’t see me that I’m flagged because I called in saying I had no gas to get there and was in the hospital very sick due to my HG. Asked if I had papers for those admissions I said yes I have everything I had 5 hospital visits! Then she put me on hold came back and told me the doctor refused to see me and give me care. This is by far the most unprofessional office and they discriminate. The one person lied on the notes in the system. I said I had yes for all my hospital paper work I have all records and would sign paperwork for them to be able to access all my visits. And the doctor still refused? Just horrible. That’s not what real caring doctors do. Don’t recommend them ever. Caught the office in multiple lies… and even more but you see the point.be careful everyone

Awful first experience. No patiences, no concern.and was incredibly misdiagnosed! I’ll be contacting the medical board.

I love Dr Jon Sweet and his entire staff. I've been coming to him for the last 3 or 4 years and I am usually nervous and anxious when I go see any doctor but whenever I go to my yearly visits at Dr. Jon Sweet's office it never fails that I feel completely at ease and relaxed. I can thank the doctor and his staff for that. They are truly very kind and friendly, and the doctor is never in a hurry. Before he does anything he takes the time to listen to any questions or concerns and takes the time to answer and explain everything until he is certain that I have understood. I love that he isn't alarming by no means. His confidence and expertise gives me peace knowing that I'm in good hands. I have recently received a letter informing that he is departing from Advent Health and I certainly do plan on following him to his next practice. I do not want to start over and find another gynecologist when I am completely satisfied and happy with him.
