Joseph Noah, M.D., Englewood FL

Went to Dr Noah for first time- he listened to me, took xrays and suggested cortisone. I told him about going to another dr and had gone thru series of cortisone and gell shots that did absolutely no good! He said “ well, time for a replacement! Scheduled Aug 21st. (surgery scheduler was a sweetheart!) He has a lot of personality and easy to talk to! Thanks to whomever referred him to me, I feel it was a good choice!

From the front desk to the nurses to Dr Noah, everyone was very courteous and very helpful. Dr Noah spent plenty of time with me, showing me my x-rays and explaining things. It was very nice to have a Dr take that time and not rush in and out!

The staff at Suncoast Orthopedics is friendly and efficient. Dr Noah is thorough, thoughtful, insightful and professional. I would recommend him without reservation.

I had knee pain from a tendon or something that pulled my bone and caused a bone bruise. Some type of bone loss related injury from how it was explained. It took over a month from when my knee pain started to get my pcp and insurance company to get my mri approved, and finally completed. (This is all prior to getting the referral to Dr Noah.)

Getting an appointment with Dr Noah was a fairly quick process, was within 2 weeks of my initial referral, and call.
The office staff seems very efficient, and friendly.

I didn’t wait long from my scheduled appointment time, it was about a 5 minute wait. Dr Noah explained my mri, when I asked questions. Since this was all new to me, I think I was expecting more details and a better idea of what could be done. There wasn’t a lot of conversation about where this leaves me, so I wouldn’t say anyone should expect a lot of details, unless you ask a lot of questions. Which if you’re like me, and you don’t know a lot about bone loss, you’ll need to educate yourself or be prepared to ask a lot of questions.
He seemed to have a little sense of humor, which I find important when faced with unknown medical issues. It makes me feel more comfortable knowing I can feel more at ease.

He suggested a bone density scan, however didn’t write an order for that to be done. I was under the impression that bone density came under the orthopedic umbrella of care. I’m not sure if this is something that my pcp is supposed to order, or if Dr Noah’s office is supposed to follow up with. So that part of my visit is a question that was left unanswered.
He also asked if I was taking medication for bone loss, which I wasn’t aware I could/should take. This is apparently something I need to discuss with my pcp as well… again I’m unsure of which doctor should be caring for this issue. ‍️

I do have a follow up appointment, for a cursory recheck, maybe the density scan will be ordered, and medication will be prescribed at that time, I don’t know. ‍️

The office and staff were very clean, everything seemed to run very smoothly.

Be aware that much of the new patient paperwork is all web based, and I found it to be unfriendly to do on my iPhone. It was difficult to fill out the questions due to the need to enlarge the screen. The biggest frustration was when I would scale back into normal view, the page would reload and reset the form loosing all my progress.
If you use an iPad or laptop, it should work fine, that’s how I ultimately submitted my new patient documents. I did NOT find a link to printable, new patient documents, so you’ll need to fill them out before your appointment time, or online.

My visit was professional, the staff was thorough, and Dr Noah seems nice.

Great experience with Dr. Noah. He was clear in diagnosis and plan of treatment with a great bedside manner. The office was clean and friendly. I am glad to be working with them.

Dr. Noah did total hip surgery on my husband 2 weeks ago. Just had his 1st follow up at the office and all went well.
Dr. Noah is a perfect gentleman, great, great surgeon, and I recommend him highly.

Everyone in office very professional. Dr.was nice and did not try to sell me on surg. X-rayed my knee and gave me an ejection. Very happy with my experience.

This Dr.is awesome and fixed me up a few years ago on my foot. Now my wife is going to get a new hip. A+ and no worries.

Dr. Noah was efficient, answered my questions and got me from signing in, exray of knee, to treatment by steriod shot all in 45 minutes! Really amazing.

Dr. Noah has always been very helpful and understanding of my pain. So grateful for the way he does injections that help me get relief. He does them well!

My shoulder was giving me severe pain. The pain prevented me from numerous chores and things I enjoyed doing.

After visiting Dr. Noah, I was relieved of pain almost instantaneously. Dr. Noah is the man to go to for your problems.

The appointment was for my 97 year old mom and it went quickly. Almost no wait time. Good news, her issue was addressed very quickly also.
