Jose's Latin Food reviews
16The waitresses could be a little nicer, their attitude is very arrogant, kindness is transmitted with a simple smile.
My favorite restaurant in Key West. Local here. One of the Best latin foods I ever tried. Everything is delicious! But my favorite is breakfast burrito with chorizo
OXTAIL SOUP IS THE BOMB! HUGE BOWL! SATURDAY'S SPECIAL.
Keep coming back for the Oxtail Soup on Saturdays!
Que rico! The chorizo taco was amazing and the shrimp in the shrimp taco was cooked perfectly. The carne asada has a flavor that you just can't get at other restaurants. The Cacao drink is sweet and delicious. This is a must stop.
I did not like the place, nor the atmosphere, nor the food, the fish that they served us was not fresh, and it was expensive, they charge like a luxury restaurant.
I was looking for a Spanish food restaurant and I came across jose Latin food but unfortunately it was a horrible experian with the service, food and definitely the price, the Menu didn't had no price so to me was kind of sratchy but the receipe did had a service charge and on top of that it said if I wanted to leave a tip. It came out to be a bad experience I had to move from the table because there was a bad smell coming from the restroom. I have a really nice message for the owner. FIX THE RESTROOM at least since you don't want to fix the interior of the restaurant. There's the receipe of how much you charge for fries, eggs and a toast.
Great locals place. Mostly frequented by Latin folks, which is always a good sign for an ethnic eatery. The tacos are superb! We will be back.
Place average, food ok, the fried
Fish over price, different from the list price on line.
Really great. We were the only tourists there, everyone else seemed like locals. Very authentic. I had the breakfast burrito and fried plantains. Yummy. My husband had tacos. Delicious. The only thing that could be improved is the overall decor. Some new paint and repairs could go a long way.
Terrible customer service. Ordered food to go. Kept the food on the shelf for a long time and then told me it’s not a big deal.
Got the barbacoa tacos. They were mediocre. Dry and not much flavour to them. The guacamole was super salty as well. Not worth the $17 I paid for them nor the 20 minutes I waited. Better off going to a food truck.
If you are latino, and you are feeling homesick…. Here they have the right food to take care of you And if u never have tried very home style latin food, welcome to Jose’s! Y las chicas que atienden son un amor:)
Their hours are wrong, they say they close at 10pm we got there at 9: 30 and they refused to serve us, very disappointed
Cool little spot for the Nicaraguan inspired food joint. Saw the picture of the whole fried fish and I had to try it my self, didn't realize it came with rice and fries. $35 is little pricy for a whole fish, but enjoyed it whole anyways. Great place, friendly staff and the waiter was nice with kids.
You HAVE to try this delicious Nicaraguan food while in Key West! Great prices, amazing food, and cold Toñas.
Good food but they prey upon tourists and they charged me over 5$ for a soda. They lost my business and respect
