I had the pleasure of taking a class with Mary via Classpass while in town for a Bachelorette party this past weekend, and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect upon booking. When we arrived, Mary was SO kind, welcoming and brought such an upbeat, positive energy to her class! We definitely got a great workout, and also had a great time together. I will certainly be back to see Mary and visit the studio on my next trip to NSB!

Great place to get a workout! Tons classes with a large variety, with anything from kickboxing, spin, strength, cardio, yoga, you name it. Very nice gyms that are clean and well equipped. The owners are amazing people who care about their clients and Coaches!

The new owner is super nice…. Great small town gym. Looking forward to seeing them again while in town!

We can’t say enough good things about Journey Fitness Center. The gym itself has everything we need to get in a good workout, and the 24 hour access is super convenient. What really makes the gym, however, are the owners. Rich and Mary are awesome. They are always so warm and welcoming. I’ve been training with Rich for a couple of years. His approach to training and knowledge level make it fun and productive. He takes the time to get to know you, what your goals are, and if you have any limitations which may impact your training. He designs a program specifically for you to make your time spent the most beneficial possible. Journey Fitness Center is definitely highly recommended!

I have been with Journey Fitness for almost 2 years. The gym is very clean, well maintained and fits my schedule being open 24 hours.
I train with Richard and he is amazing. Very patient and encouraging. My sessions are personalized and working together keeps me motivated.

Rich and Mary Boyd do an amazing job with customer service, keeping the gym nice and clean at all times and making you feel like family. My husband and I have both memberships. We have the membership for the gym and the membership for the group classes. You have one membership for group classes and it covers both their locations, which are New Smyrna Beach and South Daytona.

Journey’s classes are fantastic! The variety of classes, the encouraging and motivating instructors, the positive encouraging environment and great workout music to motivate all make you look forward to going and the time working out fly by. You can be at any level of fitness in any class and they will work with you at that level. I’m in my late 50’s and haven’t worked out consistently or purposefully in about 10 years. I started Journey classes a month ago and never felt defeated, or awkward despite my lack of fitness or familiarity with classes and exercises. The positive environment is the best I’ve ever experienced in a gym or class. Give it a try with their one time $1 class offer and see.

Hands down, best choice I’ve made training at Journey Fitness. VERY friendly staff who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. Excellent personal training. Trainers who really care and go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals.
