Julington Creek Fish Camp reviews
18This place was amazing! From the food to the waitress we had, 5 stars all the way. You do need reservations but it’s well worth planning in advance!
As always everything was wonderful. Our server Chris displayed excellent service to our party of 8. We will definitely be back.
I know this restaurant is always busy, but I’ve tried it several times and I think the seafood is fair. This last visit we had a party of six. I had a cup of “New England” clam chowder and fried scallops. The chowdah was meh! It tasted like it was made a few days earlier. Very few clams! The scallops were ridiculously small and the batter was salty. I think I’ll continue to travel to St. Augustine and get my scallop fix at O’Steens or even Schooners. The view at the Fish Camp was beautiful!
This place is always consistently great! Service, quality was all right on the money. Matt runs a tight ship!
Millie was just the best at service and advice. The food was stellar - I might have missed a new favorite if I hadn’t asked for some advice. Don’t skip the key lime pie - really great flavor. We are in Jacksonville for two nights, and we are going back to this place again tonight! Just a great, reasonably priced, satisfying experience.
Our server was wonderful, as was the food. Will try to go back in the daytime for the view.
Fantastic first time experience last night! The specialty cocktails were delicious, fried gator tail the most tender we’ve ever had and the broiled seafood platter - blackened - was amazing! Our kiddo thought she was enjoying “chicken” thanks to our accomplice server and she polished off her share of fried gator tail bites! Excellent service from Alayna and her team. The enclosed heated patio had the perfect nook for our impromptu dinner party of 7. Highly recommend!
Our waiter Chris was amazing and provided the best service I’ve ever received at Julington Creek; and our family eats here on a regular basis (2 times per week). Thank you Chris for going above and beyond to provide the best service ever. The Barkers
Wonderful experience, did have reservations for outside but asked to move to better view and sunny table and they were so accommodating!
Seared tuna was so good! Husband loved his burger!
Employees were awesome!
Will be back!
Food was exceptional, service was excellent and the atmosphere was typical upscale seafood restaurant. I had the fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. Shrimp were large and cooked to perfection. Fries were crisp as ordered. The price range is on the high side. I would recommend it.
Good menu selections. I got the shrimp dinner. Our party of five got a couple of appetizers too. The meals were excellent. Only issue was the hush puppies were over cooked and hard to bite into. Also one person in our group steak was overcooked. They said they would prepare another one but they forgot about the order. The manager apologized, brought her a salad and eventually her steak was cooked. Ended up getting it to go. The valet parking is a nice touch since it's always crowded for parking. I will eat here again. I'm sure the issues we encountered was due to several holiday celebrations at the restaurant.
I was able to sit outside in December and enjoy some nice water views. The shrimp and grits was a 10/10!
Always great food. Atmosphere, get to look at Julington Creek, see the boats docked in the marina. Service excellent. One of my favorite seafood restaurants.
We have been here multiple times. We were seated within 10 minutes, but recommend making a reservation. I have seen lines before. We have enjoyed everything we have gotten here and the staff have all been attentive and polite. Highly recommend Julington Creek Fish Camp.
For my first time there, My Date Sucked! I wont date him again! But If I get another Date, I’ll take them to The Restaurant, Julington Creek Fish Camp. The food is fresh and the Collard Greens are so good I had to have a to go bowl.
Nice restaurant, but a bit expensive. I had a seafood pasta. It was good. Husband had the grouper. It was on summer squash with a tomato relish and feta cheese. He would have preferred it plain. Service was good.
Had our regular family dinner here for a birthday and our server Quinn was absolutely fantastic. All the staff was extremely well informed and was so helpful and kind. The fried fish sandwich was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back! Thank you Quinn for such a lovely evening!
