As a real estate professional in Gainesville who deals with a lot of plumbing issues, I've found over the years that JW Freeman has one of the most reliable plumbing work products in Gainesville. To boot, they deliver some of the best customer service in Gainesville. They always pick up. They always can do the job right away. The prices are fair.

Freeman Plumbing did a great job of installing water shut-off valve for toilet - and avoiding what could have been a plumbing emergency. Brent got the job scheduled promptly. Peter and Martin were professional and efficient, and Peter was helpful in answering several plumbing questions. I called Freeman because they'd done great work on previously projects - installing new hot water heater (technicians - Robert and Micah) and fixing a leak in the kitchen wall (technician - Grayson).

J. W. Freeman Plumbing determined I had a hot water slab leak. After a leak detection was performed by a third party (recommended by J. W. Freeman), the plumbers got to work. Joel and Brandon did an absolutely phenomenal job in a professional, knowledgeable, and timely manner, and I cannot thank the two of them enough. J. W. Freeman will be my go-to plumber for future needs. Thanks again!

The plumber made quick work of clearing leaky clogged kitchen sink. Friendly service. Very pleased with the outcome and would definitely call them again if the need arose. Was especially pleased that a business in Gainesville would travel to Williston. The cost was very resonable, under $200, especially considering the travel time they incurred.

Good, but watch them! Don't trust the work, test the work. I had a clog in April that they fixed. That fix messed something up and I didn't notice it for 6 months. A small leak in the shower faucet. No noise created, shower curtain is closed after use, didn't notice until the bill creeping up. JW Freeman came to fix the drip. Replaced hardware without warning/asking about replacement options. Now they tell me there are no hardware options. Hardware prices are about half when comparing online (charged $120 for sayco 3 handle kit; materials only). They don't deny that they may have caused the issue when fixing the clog, but since it was 6 months ago they won't do anything about the price they are charging now. I thought they would stand behind their work more, but they have a policy. I won't be calling them first anymore, but would still use in a pinch.

Had them install a garbage disposal. The plumber was prompt, courteous, and did a fine job.

Fantastic experience with JW Freeman Plumbing. Professional team removed a tough old water heater and put in a new one within 2 hours! They are well priced and really know what they are doing. Highly recommend!

There is just no other way to say it. These guys are the absolute best there is. They are professional, courteous, sensitive to the needs of people in plumbing crisis, and very thorough. This is my second time using JW Freeman and I will NEVER use anyone else. Period. If there were ten stars, they'd get ten stars. Here is why: back in December, I dropped a metal snake hose down into my master-bedroom toilet drain, obviously by mistake; I was trying to clean out the drain from the roof. The snake disappeared out of the dispenser and went WAY down the drain. I tried for three days to lasso it - no luck. Finally surrendered. I called JW Freeman and I'm sure sounded pitiful in my message; they called me first thing in the morning, and Rob came out that day with an assistant. The busted the wall open behind the toilet, fished out the snake, and sealed everything right back up. Saved me probably thousands of dollars. Rob would not stop until he had it done and secured. Next, fast forward to today, 04/03/2023 - we detect water all throughout our vinyl plan flooring. Everywhere. Called last night, left another despondent message. Grayson returned my call first thing in the morning. I called at 8: 45, and he picked up; had me an appointment within two minutes for THIS afternoon. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn, who absolutely treated us like his own family. Figured out what we needed to do and referred me to Sleuth Leak Detection. After they find the stuff, Shawn will come back and repair the leak. This is way beyond good service. This is compassion for your fellow person. They know that when people call they're most likely in a crisis. It can be overwhelming for the homeowner who can feel like the world is collapsing around them. Shawn reassured. He provided perspective. And he proposed a solution. I'm a 100% confident that we'll have it fixed perfectly, and I cannot thank JW Freeman enough for your stellar service, and more-so just for being good people, and having a culture that speaks for itself. I don’t know how there are only 5 star ratings. I called this company to replace the garbage dishwasher, then I remembered how poorly they performed when I hired them a few years ago to fix a water leak at a rental house. I thought replacing the garbage disposal should be straight forward enough. The availability was good, the installation seems fine for now, although I think using $135 item and charging $200 for a 30 minute labor is outrageous. The one star is for the technician answering questions with the attitude as if talking to a kid, then left the register form for me without giving me any serial number (engraved or printed somewhere on the disposal, I suppose). The invoice does not include any information necessary for the registration. I would not hire them again.

What a great company! Shawn Demers couldn't have been friendlier. As a single person I've had a lot of service people talk down to me. Shawn was professional, very knowledgeable and super-efficient. Really appreciate the great service and I won't hesitate to call again!

After 2 service calls ($300+ total) the problem was not recognized and blamed on my tenants not using the shower properly. When we pointed on a leak it took multiple visits and after all we were left with another problem: broken tiles. Highly frustrated with this company, would not recommend it to anyone.

These guys are there to do a job however it lands. Not thinking through things, just getting stuff done, collecting their pay, and moving on. No customer service at all. They don't care what you think. I don't recommend them.
