JW Marriott Marquis Miami

I had a very bad experience unfortunately. 1. I found a dead bug right next to the coffee pods. 2. The coffee machine wasn’t working. 3. The AC wasn’t working for like 3 hours, it was so hot in the room. 4. The line at the front desk was way too long and there was only one employee at a time. 5. The valet was waaaay too expensive, about $60.
We notified the front desk about the issues but the only solution they offered was to move us to another room, which we couldn’t do because our baby was already asleep. They didn’t notify a manager to see what other options we had and when we checked out we didn’t even get asked if we enjoyed our stay and the lady just wanted to get rid of us because there were a lot of people that she needed to help. Definitely not five star treatment, it was very disappointing especially because it was our anniversary!

I recently stayed at this hotel when on business. The hotel is nice with good amenities. I don’t know if they were operating at minimal staff, but the service was very poor. They front desk were in friendly and robotic. They were unhelpful when needing things. I asked if housekeeping could be finished with my room by 3pm as I was going to be on conference calls and was told there was nothing they could do. Valet parking was slow/unresponsive. No room service. Just a very unwelcoming vibe

High quality hotel with extraordinary rooms. Prices are relatively high because of that quality

Exceptional hotel with exceptional service. Marriott will always be my preferred choice hotel. The standards and quality at all of their establishments are always above expectations. I recommend the suites. You notice the “difference” from the moment you enter the room. They have a movie theater (which was closed during my stay due to COVID) a basketball court (they charge a fee per hr) a mini bowling alley, golf, pool table and a rooftop pool. I will be returning to this hotel

Very nice hotel, room had a great view of downtown. The overnight staff was the best. Definitely recommend this place. Whether you're on vacation or a stay cation you will not be disappointed.

MARQUIS Miami and what a wonderful Experience! I highly recommend it.

After staying at the W in Brickell the week before, the JW Marriott Marquis is everything the W is not. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is definitely a place to stay at. I would recommend, the staff is helpful and I enjoyed my stay. Only thing I was not fond of was the location, but then again its Miami so I was prepared for the crazy driving.

The JW Marriott Marquis Miami is excellent in service, location and ambience. Upon arrival, the valet and front desk were extremely professional and helpful during my check-in. I was also given an upgrade (with my status) to a junior suite, which was spacious, clean and had a nice view of the city - unfortunately not of the bay. One of the only con is the parking; it is pricey, as valet is the only option and at ~$55/day. Front desk did also forget to call me when my room was ready, but they did confirm when I called them back myself. I haven't experienced other hotels near the Miami area, but as a frequent traveler who has stayed in various hotels across the US, this JW Marriott is certainly above the standard.

The King size room was amazingly large with a large desk for work. TV selection is above average. Service and staff is great

This place will always be very special to me. That aside, it is tasteful, beautiful and I highly recommend it

Decided to stay at this hotel for the second time and all I can say is INCREDIBLE, beautiful views, great staff, food was great.

We got a presidential suite in the 41 floor and all I can say is that this hotel has some stunning views. The room we stayed was very clean, furniture was very modern and nice. The carpet was not the best cleaned but I can pass. The room service was super good get ready to pay a 20% automatic service charge plus room fee. Since I am a marriot rewards member we got the concierge and the food was really good. The staff are always very helpful and make you feel comfortable.

Since its was New years the valet was a little disorganized but tried to handle it well.

I would love to stay in this property again.

Fantastic hotel.

As a brand loyal customer I always try to find a Marriott, this location not only met, it far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing and location perfect.

The rooms are spacious and modern. The amenities are spectacular and include a pool, basketball courts, a game room, theater and more. Everything is curated to ensure a positive experience.

Definitely a place I will visit again.

The worst hotel I have ever been in my life. The worst service ever, and the manager thinks she is better, or more, than their guests, she is very very rude and treat guests very bad. Never stay in this hotel, it is a good tio, there are a lot of better hotels in the same area, so you dont need to be mistreated

One of the best hotel where you can stay in downtown Miami! So many choices to eat around here.

Hotel was gorgeous. We only stayed one night but the staff was very accommodating. Valet is great but they take a while to get the car which is fine. It was a busy night.

Hotel was great. Room was clean. Location is great. Fast internet. Staff is friendly. Did not earn 5 stars because the use of the room keys was not explain to me. The room key is needed for the elevator and to turn on lights in the room.

Went to the restaurant they have inside (thanks Miami Spice!) And enjoyed a simple meal. Overall the ambiance was more memorable than the acro meal. Not to discredit the food, just I would've hoped that the flavors would've packed a little more of a punch.

What a great experience. The staff is very polite and attentive. The hotel is just beautiful with many amenities.
