Kahwa Coffee, Lakewood Ranch FL

I moved into the area last year and this Kahwa location is my favorite place to go.

The manager and employees always have the nicest smiles and deliver quality EVERY time!

3rd visit, friendly service, drinks are good, but very little sweetness, so ask for extra syrup if you like a bit sweeter drink.

ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY!

This place was absolutely horrible. They’ve spent all their money on branding rather than actually developing a nice cup of coffee.
We got a cold brew and they… it was the absolute worst coffee I’ve had in my life! They gave us COLD and BURNED drip coffee that’s been sitting and yes, you can tell the difference bc cold brew is supposed to be extracted or pressed from course ground bean with cold water for a period of 12-24 hours and the strained.
Then to top it off, they messed up our food order and only gave us 1 of the 3 breakfast sandwiches we ordered and then wanted to argue with us about it.

We love coming here. The energy is great and everyone is always so cheerful. Everything I have had so far has been great.

Tracie makes a great drink and the whole staff is always very friendly. I bring all my friends and family to Kahwa. They truly have the best coffee in town.

Great coffee, & wonderful pastries. My favorite is the sweet & savory scones. The staff is so nice & helpful.

This is the closest coffee place to my house, and their coffee is good! So I do keep coming here when I’m in a pinch. I’ve been visiting occasionally over the past few years. In the past the service seemed inconsistent. Probably 25% of the time they’d get my order wrong (i.e. Using the wrong milk in my coffee, or missing a tomato on my sandwich that I paid extra for). That hasn’t been an issue for a long time, but today I had a bad experience that made me turn to the reviews. I ordered a sandwich through Uber Eats and went to the drive through to pick it up since there was only one other car in the line - which I’ve done before. This time I was scolded in a condescending way and was told “next time, Uber Eats picks up INSIDE”. It’s one thing to explain how things should work, but her tone and body language were very angry/unsettling. Honestly it makes me not want to come back. I think it was the manager helping me, because now I see other reviews explaining how management berates the staff. Anyway, just food for thought - please treat your customers with respect.

More money than star bucks and they are trained to ask you for for tip sometimes twice? You leave with a burnt muffin and a feeling of being swindled…. Everytime

I’m generally a fan of Kahwa, but I wish this location had more outside seating and that’s not in the sun.

Absolutely delicious! Got an egg and cheese croissant and a hot coffee with cream and hazelnut. It was wonderful and the staff was very kind.

Not great coffee and few pastry options that were not fresh. They have board games though!

I used to LOVE to come here to get my Matcha tea latte almost every morning. The past few times I had to return my drink because it was milk with barely any Matcha. The first time they took it back and gave me a new one and a coupon for a free drink. But the next two times, the same thing happened and the staff was rude about it and just took the drink back and put more matches in it without even apologizing. I'm not expecting a free drink every time this happens but I also don't expect them to be rude when I ask for something that I paid for. I'm not going to pay $5 for just milk. Also every single time I've gone in the past two months they are out of sweet scones, or something else. Really sad because I use to love the matcha latte there. Honestly don't waste your time and go straight to Starbucks.

Coffee tasted great. They actually gave me a spoon to use. The service was really good. Really appreciate them making my day.

Cute place but I can't rate it higher then a 3 after our visit unfortunately. The coffee was just ok.ordered two lattes. Few breakfast options.ordered the quiche and never received it. We didn't ask about it since the two baristas were noticeably stressed and overwhelmed.and there weren't many of us in there. There are signs they are hiring.and it's a shame for businesses to lack candidates to fill these positions. We will probably go back to try them again in the future.

9/3/22 went back and had much better service this time. They even brought our dog a water bowl and treats which was a nice touch (they don't have whip cream so no puppacinos).

The breakfast sandwhich was really good. My husband enjoyed his expresso and I ordered the pumpkin latte. I ordered an extra shot of expresso and extra pumpkin spices.don't do that. The pumpkin was waaaay to strong to drink.my fault.
