Kaia Greek Restaurant reviews
14Kaia is my go to restaurant in Miami-Dade for amazing Greek dishes and this relative newcomer on Miracle Mile can’t be overlooked. In addition to is noteworthy cuisine, Kaia offers a warm and inviting ambiance as well as a dedicated and friendly staff. An absolutely wonderful experience.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kaia, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host, who promptly seated me at a cozy table.
The menu was full of enticing options, but I ultimately decided on the LAMB CHOPS, KEBAB, GRILLED OCTOPUS and I'm so glad I did. The flavors were expertly balanced, and every bite was a true delight. It was clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into each dish, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch.
But it wasn't just the food that made my experience so special. The service was truly exceptional. My server Sheherezade from Maracaibo - Venezuela was attentive and friendly, always making sure that my water glass was full and checking in to see if there was anything else I needed. They were also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and had great recommendations for wine pairings.
Throughout the course of my meal, I was struck by how smoothly everything ran - from the timing of the dishes to the attentiveness of the staff. It was clear that everyone was working together to create an outstanding dining experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend Kaia to anyone looking for a truly exceptional meal with impeccable service. The combination of delicious food and attentive, knowledgeable staff make for an unforgettable experience that is truly hard to beat.
Very nice locale & ambiance. Worth a try. Some room for improvement - a little pricey, limited wine list & disappointing fries - also hostess was overwhelmed with just 3 parties in front of her all with reservations and their tables open. Will repeat.
I had high hopes for this place, but was very disappointed. The cocktails and grilled halloumi were good, but that's about it. We got there 2 hours after it opened, but somehow they were already out of the rib-eye. I was surprised given how empty the restaurant was. We were given a NY strip instead and it was probably the worst steak I've ever eaten. It was full of fat and had 0 seasoning and flavor. We asked for the steak medium and it was given to us rare. We asked for truffle fries and were given regular fries. Maybe this place is still working out it's kinks as it's kind of new, but I won't be returning.
This restaurant is brand new and so delicious! The service was phenomenal and the staff kept checking in to make sure we were comfortable. The food was also great - we ended up getting a bunch of appetizers to share. The atmosphere is also beautifully decorated and quaint. They gave us a complimentary dessert that was a delicious Greek biscotti with ice cream. I will definitely be going back!
Delicious grilled squid that was tender & juicy and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere & service. The manager was fantastic, very attentive. We sat outside and when I didn’t have a spot for my purse he brought out a portable stand to hang it on. Great evening!
Excellent place. We tried the Octopus and the Qofte (Kofte) which great and legit. I am Albanian (neighbor country) and I know good Qofte and these were really good.
My parents had a great time as well.
Every single item we ordered was amazing! I don’t usually leave reviews but wow! The hummus is the best I ever had and I’ve had a lot! The octopus with the purée delish! We also had the chicken skewers which were very good and the baklava and ice cream soooo good! Xavier was an excellent waiter! Attentive and accommodating and made sure we were happy. Thank you! Will definitely be back!
We sat outside and loved the ambiance. Food was superb - tzatziki, grilled halloumi, octopus and lamb chops were all 10/10. The baklava was the best I’ve had. Service was good - just a little slow - but we weren’t in a rush.
El kebab estaba excelente y el limón estaba muy jijí.
The kebab was amazing and the lime was so Jijí.
Food was good. Service was great. Christopher was super hospitable and helpful. All servers super friendly. Manager not so much. When we arrived it was drizzling. We had a table of 6 and arrived 7 min late due to an accident on I95. Asked if there was table inside and he gave us attitude that table had been ready an hour ago and that’s why he couldn’t accommodate us elsewhere. Not welcoming or friendly at all. That was how he welcomed us. Despite his sass, we were able to enjoy!
Amazing food. Pita, Kebab, Komonos. Everything was amazing. Brandon was also incredibly helpful and gave the best recommendations. I trust him fully — this was an amazing experience.
We had a wonderful experience here. Wonderful service, ambience, and food. Best branzino we’ve ever had at a restaurant. The skordalia was delicious as were our wines. We’ll certainly be back!
Does not live up to the hype. They ignored my (important) dietary restrictions and the manager didn’t want to take back the dish involved. My husband’s lamb chops came out cold and the air conditioner dripped on his head and my friend’s head all evening. They were not kind to our daughter and have a “no kids allowed” attitude. You’re better off spending $180 on literally anything else. (Yes, that’s how much dinner for two costs)
