KAM Roofing Services, Clearwater FL

KAM Roofing installed a new roof on my home a little less than two years ago. Though I did not leave a review at that time, I was very satisfied with the work. They did a great job, took pictures, and sent me updates of their work throughout the process. About a month ago during a storm, the vent in my bathroom had a little water leaking in. I called KAM Roofing not thinking this would be covered under warranty, but come to find out it absolutely was! They came out and fixed the vent (not sure of the actual name) on the roof very quickly. Not only that, a few days after they made the repair, THEY CONTACTED ME to come fix the water spot on my bathroom ceiling. I didn't even expect them to come fix the ceiling, but the fact that they contacted me to come make the repairs as opposed to me having to chase them down to do warranty repairs really says a lot about this company. I was already satisfied with the roof installation, but I really feel they went out of their way to ensure the warranty work was taken care of.

It was time to replace our roof and Kam roofing was referred to us through a friend. We got a few estimates including one from Leighann Hirsch from Kam Roofing. Leighann was very thorough and answered all our questions. Kam's cost estimate was somewhere in the middle, but we opted to use them because of the strong recommendation. We are glad we did. We had pool and photovoltaic solar panels on the roof. Unlike the others, Kam's estimate included the removal and reinstall of the panels, and although they used Solar Solutions for the job, they assumed responsibility for the work and the warranty. Our production manager, Brian Schwerdtfeger, communicated with us on key dates and provided updates regularly. He was very responsive. And Hilton supervised the project and reviewed the work during and after the install. We were very happy with the work and will recommend them to anyone needing work done on their roof.

KAM Roofing Service was recommended by a friend. Kyle, the owner was very professional and provided a fair estimate. Morgan his assistant confirmed the order, shared what needs to be done prior to installation, and a tentative start date. His scheduler Brian kept me updated via email as the start day approached. Jesus the job supervisor introduced himself, explained the steps in the removal and installation. He wanted to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I was fully satisfied with his team's work. The city inspector reported that all was done perfectly and that KAM Roofing always does a superb job. This company really cares about the customer; great communications, dedicated employees, and outstanding workmanship. It is rare to find a company with such professionalism. KAM roofing was recommended to us through a friend, but to be safe we still got several quotes. KAM roofing gave a fair price and worked with us on what we wanted done with our flat roof. All communications were prompt, professional, and courteous. Install crew prepped and cleaned thoroughly. The actual roof looks fantastic. We are very involved with our home maintenance/renovations and the site manager was more than happy to walk us on the roof and explain everything they did and let us inspect things ourselves. We have worked with a lot of crews from various trades the last several months and KAM roofing was one of the best to work with. I would use them again in the future.

Leighann did the estimate for my new roof. She was on time and very professional, pointing out different things that could be changed and some things that were done incorrectly on my previous roof. She suggested the roofing color, Summer Harvest by Owens Corning, which I went with. (my original roof was white). The crew was here and delivered all the material in one day, and it was installed and completed the next day, and all packaging materials was cleaned up before they left. If a roof can be considered gorgeous, mine new roof is just that. Absolutely gorgeous. The multicolored shingles really stand out. I would definitely recommend KAM ROOFING SERVICES to anyone looking to replace their roof. Update: When the trailer, loaded with old roofing materials, was pulled out of my back yard along the alley, one of the tires actually sunk and opened up a big hole in the ground. Unknown to me, there was an old, out of commission, septic tank that is now exposed. I called the City and they didn't want anything to do with filling the hole. Thankfully, Kam Roofing Services' Production Manager, Brian Schwerdtfeger, said he would have it taken care of sometime this week. What a great company!

Final update: This roofing company is the best! They not only filled in the hole from the old septic tank, but they also topped it off with new sod!

I called KAM for an opinion (Brian and Hilton were awesome!) on a new roof (installed 2020) because a different roofing company than the company that installed the new roof said they needed to charge me thousands to fix some defects. Rather than call the original roofer (roof is still under warranty) I heard KAM did great work so I wanted an opinion before I called in on the warranty. They said there were no major issues, but loose shingles and sealing needed to be done. Since it was a small job they charged me VERY little, I felt guilty because it was definitely well below their cost. They also spoke with me about the roofs current condition and some things to monitor to stay ahead of future issues. I would use KAM in the future for any roof issues. Let me repeat, even though the roof was under a warranty with a different company, they offered, and I agreed to just have them do the minor shingle and chimney repairs. That’s how much they impressed me. I recommend this company to everyone!

The last roof placed on my home was a nightmare and in the end the rood did not last as long as is should have. I was hesitant to search for another but I found one that I would highly recommend. KAM Roofing did an excellent job on my roof. Michelle & Jesus were very professional and explained everything in detail. The job was done in one day on a Friday and Jesus came back on Saturday to check and see if everything was satisfactory. I told him the garage was a disaster and he said if he had known there was no ceiling he would have covered the things in the garage to reduce the clean up. He even offered to stay and help with the clean up but I declined. Great job KAM Roofing and thank you!

I'm providing a 5-star rating for KAM Roofing Services, truly a 5-star company, that installed a beautiful aluminum roof on our home and back yard shed. Our KAM Estimator, Leighann Hirsch, was on time, knowledgeable, professional and a wonderful representative of her company. Leighann provided addresses of properties that had same/similar aluminum roof & color we were considering. Our KAM on-site supervisor, Jesus Angeles, was simply amazing. He kept us informed of each days progress, and what we should expect. Jesus and his crew were very impressive. Jesus also made me aware of the rust on my fireplace chimney cap, and recommended that I have it replaced now as to avoid rust on my new metal roof. It was a slight additional cost, but worth it! I highly recommend KAM Roofing Services. As I like to jokingly say. "who buys a roof at Safety Harbor's 3rd Friday Street Fest. I did" (which is where I first learned of KAM Construction and their tag line "Taking the "CON" out of Construction").

I have worked with dozens of roofing companies over the years, it's not easy work especially this time of year in FL.
I will tell anyone and everyone that I have never worked with a better roofing company than KAM. From the first conversation to the last shingle laid, Kyle and his crew exceeded every expectation and went over and beyond.

KAM Roofing is an excellent top-notch company. Michelle was very knowledgeable checking my roof, advising what needed to be done, and giving me an estimate.
The work was done by a team of three, led by Christian, in a smooth and timely manner. They paid attention to every detail, and the cleanup was done thoroughly ——not a single nail to be found on the property. Hilton did a thorough check as work progressed.

After contacting them to say how their quote was double of 6 other reputable roofing companies for the same materials and job i was told there was a mistake and they changed to new price for metal roof is now being quoted 37k. Just for reference the mysafeflorida program gives you a total benefit of 10k for hurricane upgrades. Im not sure if this had an influence on our initial quote for metal but why after complaining about the doubled price they drop it 10k. They stated to me that they wouldn't scam or mislead or inflate their quote for any reason (their words). This is my opinion. Times are tough for all of us right now financially but to also have companies charge almost 50k for a standard metal roof is outrageous to me. 6 other companies quoted me and i take everything in consideration. They all were close except for Kam Roofing. They were double the price for metal. And about 4k more than the cheapest shingle quote i got for the same materials and install. Shop around and do your research before going with any one quote. This is my experience and may not reflect yours but just wanted to share my experience with Kam Roofing. They did seem very thorough and professional over the phone and in person. So for the outrageous quote i will give one star.

Update: kam Roofing has tried to reach out and help me figure out why their quote is double but i alresdy selected another preferred company for my business. My total for everything came out to half the price of their 47k.

Great experience in having our roof replaced. Communication was fantastic and Hilton, roofing supervisor was always available and responsive when needed. Would recommend for your roofing needs.

I never thought that house project, as installing a new roof and fixing wood damage on and around it, will be a great experience. With KAM Roofing it was.
From beginning to the end I was impressed with professionalism, knowledge, patience to explain and answer my questions, all the way to the final step-installation and repair.
Thirteen hour day for the crew, left the property with not even one nail, screw or trash behind. Respectful and hard working.

I got so many quotes from other companies but they were all quoting the same product, promising the same amount of extra wood, and KAM beat out the other companies by over $1000. Everyone was very easy to work with and communicate with. The supplies all came the day before and the work was completed the very next day all in one day. My new Midnight Plum roof looks awesome with my white/purple house, and I highly recommend KAM for your new roof.

I spoke with several roofing companies for my re-roof project. KAM roofing was the most professional and prepared out of all of the Roofing companies I dealt with. Leighann was especially organized and diligent and preparing for the job. Communication throughout all I dealt with was top notch. Highly recommend.

Kam Roofing replaced my 20 year old roof. They are the most professional and honest company I have dealt with. Communication with Michelle the estimator and Jesus the supervisor was excellent. They did everything even covered my pool with plastic to keep it clean. They made the whole process so easy. I will definitely use them again if the need ever arises.
