One of the best shopping experiences from a retail store in a long time. KAY V.was amazing and extremely helpful. We purchased 10k+ mainly because of her. One thing that I really like is the space you guys gave us after the initial greeting and did not follow us around the store like your competition (Ashely’s furniture).

Worst place to buy furniture from. Kent is an absolute jerk. The customer service is horrible. Have been waiting on furniture for months now and still haven’t received it. The furniture I ordered came in as the wrong size. I absolutely do not recommend. You will save a lot of time and hassle if you just go somewhere else.

Purchased $4000 leather couch and love seat after 1 month the leather on one love seat got so stretched had a tech come a week later told its not the leather it’s the stuffing so it’s not there problem it will only happen again so now I have a love seat that looks like I’ve had it a year not a month very disappointed for not even to try and make me happy $4000 for used looking furniture

Buyer beware! This place is terrible, I've been waiting for a bedroom set for almost three months now. No one has has even bothered to call us. I called them to see what was going on, and now they are telling me maybe I'll get it in a month maybe not. Really bad service. Will never shop here again.

Met at the door by a very nice gentleman named Robert, he did his best to show us exactly what we needed, no pressure, just enjoyable company while we made our choices. He gave us a wonderful deal and made the whole sale experience fun. The ladies in the accounting dept were so friendly, and explained all the details of our delivery and financial clearly. Thanks to all, we had fun shopping for our beautiful new furniture.

Bought my new living room furniture today from Kane's in Clearwater, Fl and after checking out the competition we found that they offered the best prices on Italian leather than any of of the other local big name furniture stores. I will post another rating in 6 months to let everyone know how the furniture is holding up.

Were shopping for a new recliner and dinette set at many stores in the area. We were assisted by Patty who was fabulous! She was extremely patient and also helpful with lots of important information. We felt no pressure. Really liked Patty and we ended up buying from her / Kane's. Patty and good prices made the difference in our decision. Thanks!)

Horrible sales lady, claimed she worked at Ashley's. Yet had no full knowledge of product she's even selling. Damn any info needed can be found on internet. How dare someone talk to a customer as if that sale doesn't matter. Closing manager offered apology but was more fake than there pricing. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Thought Id share my furniture buying experience from Kanes in Clearwater.
November 27th 2018 I made a purchase that included a bed, night stand, chase lounge chair, and a couch from their "scratch & dent" section. Dec 15,2018 all said items were to be delivered. I received delivery for the bed, night stand chair. The couch I had purchased come to find out was sold to someone else 3-4 hrs after I left the store. I was never told. Upon delivery, I received a brand new couch! I was informed of the mishap, and what they did. Kanes realized they screwed up, and went the extra mile to retain my business. That's where the positive ends. The new couch was damaged with a broken leg. I was told it would be replaced with a brand new couch for the price I paid in a week. Unfortunately it was not a week. I was told Kanes oversold the item. It was now back ordered and expected to arrive towards the end January, 2019. Then it got pushed back to the 1st week of Feb. It is now Feb. 9th 2019 and still no couch. What I have received is a lie being told it was discontinued "according to a specific mgr". My replacement order was never placed "according to that same specific mgr" and that I had 1 of 2 options.after waiting 2 months for this new couch I was told I was getting. I could either A) get my money back or B) take a scratch n dent couch and call it a day. Now mind ya. Ive been waiting 2 months for a new couch that was promised to me by Kanes! Now Ive spoken to Kane's home office today. I was told the couch is NOT discontinued, and that they were to be receiving a shipment later this month. I was told I could receive an additional $100 back if I went with the replacement scratch n dent couch (which had heavy scratches and marks all over the couch) or I can wait to see what Kane's upper mgmt decides to do this coming Tuesday. Ive decided to wait and hope Kane's does the right thing.
I will provide an update once I am told the direction they are going to correct this problem.

Nobody from Kanes has reached out to me.once again! Someone from their home office said she was meeting with their "customer relations" team or something along those lines and would call me on Tuesday 2/12/2019.

In response the owner's response. You know my name. You know my phone #
You know my order # since its been asked the last 3 times Ive stopped by. Stop being robotic in responses, and actually resolve this issue!

Sales person Marika Greene is a real pro. She went above and beyond to help us in our selection of furniture. We were so impressed with her that we asked to speak to the manager on duty to complement her. We don't do that very often, but she deserved it.

The only reason I am giving one star is because of Bonnie in customer service dept. Other than that the ENTIRE experience was a nightmare. Our sales person told us what was necessary to make her sale, knowing that the item was not in stock even though we specifically asked. We did not learn this fact until it was time for the sectional to be delivered and we never received a call about delivery. We took the initiative to call and that is when we were told only half of the sectional was in stock. Then we had a 3 piece wall unit delivered. The large pieces were put in place and then the parts to secure it were handed off to us and we were told we have to DIY. Yet another call was made to find out what was going on. We were told that is not normal and they will send a tech out in a week to complete installation and pick up a protection kit we were charged for but never agreed to purchase. When it came time for the tech to come and complete installation he was an hour late and yet again we had to call to see what was going on. I, the customer had to point out the fact the safety hazard this unstable wall unit presented and they need to be more careful bc this could cause injuries and potential law suits. Not to mention charging items w/o customers consent. Bonnie has done her best to make this unpleasant situation bearable. Please take your money and spend it elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM KANE'S. They lie to loyal customers and offer discounts that are taken away after they've already run your credit card.

We came into the store to look for a new mattress. As the sales person was walking us up to the mattress section, we asked her if there were any sales going on for mattresses. She offered us 10% off any mattress over $1,000 and 20% off any mattress over $2,000. So, we picked out our mattress, and she told us we could get free delivery and a free mattress protector. We agreed to purchase it, planning to pay for it in full with a card. It quickly became evident that the salesperson was new, and about an hour into the process of trying to buy the mattress, she called over another sales rep to help her. This is when we were told that the percentage off discount does not apply, and they could give us a $300 store gift card instead. We agreed, and proceeded to purchase the mattress. Then, we found out they could not deliver it in the time that our sales rep had promised, so we would have to pick it up from the warehouse. She told us to be prepared to wait 45 minutes at the warehouse over the weekend when we arrived. We agreed, and purchased the mattress. The next day, we got a call from Kane's saying that ACTUALLY, they are unable to give us the store gift card as promised AND the mattress cover is no longer free, and they need an additional $60 from us. WHAT IN THE WORLD. They made no attempts to make this right, and were quick to offer to cancel the order all together. They had no respect for our time and the hour and a half we spent waiting for the sales reps to figure out how to take our credit card payment. It was a complete waste of time, we were lied to by Kane's multiple times, and feel like I was scammed out of my time. We have been loyal Kane's customers, and have an entire bedroom set from Kane's which cost thousands of dollars. We do not feel like valued customers. Better to take your money to any other furniture store.

UPDATE:

They had asked us to wait 10 business days for the refund to show up on our credit card. After 14 business days and the refund had not processed, we contacted them to ask for an update. THEY NEVER EVEN PROCESSED THE REFUND. Now we have to wait another 3-5 business days. All of this trouble and we have been offered nothing to control the damage.

Kane's does nothing to keep their customers happy OR reconcile damage done. I am feeling beyond scammed right now.

I couldn't find a cabinet wide enough for a 70 inch TV because the legs are on the edge of the television batanes had it at a very good price I had to drive all the way to Pinellas Park to pick it up which sucked but it turned out to be a great by definitely recommend the one on Drew Street and 19th

UPDATE: Just reported this to BBB and consumer affairs due to Kane's refusal to stand by the limited warranty. After weeks, they finally came to inspect this issue. They called me back to tell me that despite the clear dip in the center of the ottoman, there is no defect.this is normal for the "foam to compress". Really unfortunate that I spent $1200 on a defective product and that Kane's will not correct it. The woman told me she is not sure how much I'm using it so she can't say why it's happening.so now I am being blamed for the huge dip in the ottoman that resulted from using the couch for 6 days.they also claim not to notice the odor. The complete lack of customer service and extremely poor quality of the couches is extremely alarming. HIGHLY recommend going else where unless you like throwing money out the window or being talked down to by their employees.

Now fully understand why this place has poor reviews. New couch, chair and ottoman were delivered 2 weeks ago today. Already had to call to report that the ottoman has a huge dip in it and the couch/chair both have a gross odor that has not gone away. They soonest they can have someone come "look" at the couch is another 2 weeks. Worth mentioning I went away for 5 days so have really only been using the couch for less than 2 weeks, already an issue and they clearly have no sense of urgency to help. I made the mistake of calling corporate customer support before they transferred me to the store I purchased it at. The girl on the phone was so rude. I thought I was having issues hearing here and she's like "uh I wasn't speaking. " So I said okay, any feedback? She rudely asked my number and when nicely I asked if I could just speak to someone else she proceeded to give me an attitude before transferring me to Clearwater. Terrible representation of Kane's.and I mentioned this to the stoer associate and she laughed and said knowingly "oh.yeah that's corporate. THIS is the store you bought it at. " So I guess that is normal? Do yourself a favor.go elsewhere unless you enjoy throwing $ out the window.
