I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. 45minutes later, I was still not seen by the doctor. Unprofessional.

This Dr has a real attitude and god forbid THEY make a simple mistake and you try to discuss it with him like an adult. The Dr gets all defensive and keeps saying it’s not his fault when it was absolutely 50% his fault. Lowered my script in half and says that wasn’t his fault? !? !? How on earth is that not your fault? I filled out paperwork when I started coming and listed all scripts with dosage (I even brought pictures of everything I was taking so I didn’t make an error). Then I talk to the really nice ladies you have at your front desk who help me kind of solve a problem. Then I unfortunately get Dr Kappeler on the phone who has no clue what is going on but is speaking down to me like he remotely has a clue. He made a point to say that this call was “during lunch” (1: 50 is lunch time I guess) and honestly I could care less when your lunch time is especially when your office doesn’t accept calls between 12-1: 45. I’m on lunch also and trust me my lunch is WAY more important than your lunch so you should keep that comment to yourself if your going to bother answering the phone.

This Dr is a real pretentious, arrogant person and probably needs to step back to appreciate his PATIENTS more as he appears to be burnt out if you can’t have an adult conversation. RELAX DR, chill out this wasn’t a life threatening issue and your attitude was 100% uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. I’ll take my biz elsewhere and prehaos you should let folks know up front you’re really not interested in new patients (I also asked this question when I made my first appointment).

I feel Dr Kappeler saved my life after I visited him with various physical symptoms of dying. After running a few tests and ruling out a few things, he asked if there were any major life changes in my life or anything else he maybe missing. After disclosing my divorce, childhood trauma and history of addiction he provided me with the assurance I am fine physically. My symptoms were a side effect from overwhelming anxiety and emotional stress. He diagnosed me with OCD and prescribed paxil and therapy. He helped me realize how much I need to work on for myself and how the medical system works. Genuine and honest doctor that wants to really help people. Very patient, understanding and accepting. I feel you're lucky if he's able to accept you as a patient.
