Katch Twenty-Two, Lecanto FL

This was our first time dining at Katch Twenty-Two. We were a little put off by the bedraggled appearance of the building exterior and property, but the interior was pleasant and clean. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and entrees. The food was flavorful and the service was prompt. However, the value for the money was not the best. We left hungry even though each couple’s bill was $150+. In our experience, other local restaurants offer comparable food for a better price.

Food was great. Only open til the end of the month because they are rebuilding in the same spot. They are expected to reopen in a year. Will need to go back in a year because it will be worth it.

This was my 1st time to the resturant. It is extremely small but we had great service and wonderful food. Just a wonderful nite. Everything we ordered was perfect. Nice wine selection. Alot of options for gluten free choices. They where able to also accommodate dairy allergies. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another wonderful dinner.

Without question one of the best restaurants in the area! The lamb shank was tender and flavorful and the crab cakes were delicious with lumps of juicy crabmeat. And the service was equally great!

Words fail me in how to describe the food and service in this restaurant. I can describe them as one of the top restaurants iv been to in my life time.

Wow, our first time here but Definitely not our last. The food was Amazing, our server and hostess, Kayla and Tiffany made our experience well worth the cost. A+

Have been here several times and service has been disappointing. Seems like they focus on the "regulars" and no one else. Food is nicely presented but it is average at best. This is not a five star restaurant by any means. Just an OK place with overpriced food.

We had the Bacon Grilled cheese, the special which was a blackened salmon sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and avocado aioli, and fried mahi plate. Everything was outstanding! And we ate from the food truck mid day on a Wednesday. Just delicious, great service, great fresh food. We will return and highly recommend.

The food deserves 5 stars! I enjoyed the lamb shanks. The mashed potatoes a bit watery and sauce a tad muted. But overall a great dish. The facility was lacking - maybe 3 stars. The chairs to short to sit comfortably at the table. I saw they had cushions - but who wants to sit on shared cushions?

Small and intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing food. When my wife and I went there the owner was personally greeting people as they came through the door. I meant to take a picture of the food before I started eating but I couldn't wait.

Yum! Everything I have tried from their menu has been fantastic. They get a little busy some days, but it is worth the wait. Bonus points for making the A-frame building available for eating.

I have eaten at nice restaurants all over the world. This is, by far, the best food I have ever had. Don't let the surroundings fool you. This food is the best five star food you will ever eat. I had the lamb chops with jalapeno mint jelly and my son had steak with lobster. The appetizers were pork belly and beet stack. Super friendly staff. Very welcoming.

WOW restaurant!

The décor of Katch Twenty-two immediately tells the guests what to expect: elegant, simple, with a purpose. Guests are greeted by the cheerful co-owner, Ms. Tiffany, with a genuinely warm smile that announces, “We’re happy you came to dine with us tonight! ”

The menu is relatively short, indicative that the chef has picked out a few dishes to share with the clientele, and these dishes are prepared to perfection, with fresh ingredients. There is no sense of melodrama in the menu. It is straight and to the point. Some of the combinations on the menu may seem odd at first sight. Reading carefully, the dining guest comes to the realization that these unique combinations play well together. Take for example the lobster and shrimp ravioli with mango butter. The slight acidity of the mango cuts right into the alkalinity of the shrimp and lobster, tingling the palate.

Every dish we tasted had a similar play on the yin-and-yang of flavors and textures. Colorful presentations feast the eyes before the guest delves into the plate.

A simple dessert like homemade butter pecan ice cream speaks volumes about the chef and kitchen team. The ice cream is stored and served at what seems like a perfect 5degrees F, making it cold yet creamy-smooth. The pecans were toasted separately, thus retaining their sensorial identity and crunch.

Service is serious, courteous, and professional. Tableware and its placement are impeccable. The food portions are relatively large, which came somewhat as a surprise.

Michelin has a rating on its tour guide books: one star; worth visiting. Two stars: worth the detour. Three stars: worth the trip.

Yes, of course Katch Twenty-Two merits three stars, worth the trip for a memorable dinner.

First time here! I was very impressed with the staff, service and the delicious food. There were 4 of us and we all had different meals. Each one was prepared perfectly. Presentation on each meal was beautifully done. I have celiac and asked my meal to be gluten free. No issues at all for the chef to make and I had no issues with my stomach. What an amazing restaurant! The food was THE BEST and the staff was AMAZING! I had the Sea Bass which literally melted in my mouth! Fantastic restaurant in Citrus Hills. Hospitality from door to table was outstanding. Our waitress Laurie was attentive and very friendly We talked to another woman who may have been the owner or manager making sure our meals were enjoyable. That always makes an experience special. Risotto, sea bass were outstanding and the homemade chocolate coffee desert was a perfect finish to the night. We look forward to coming back
