Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park reviews
22Great place for camping and spending time outdoors. There is no shortage of things to do. The campground was very family friendly and the spots may be a bit small but they felt isolated with the vegatation between each. The beach is walking distance but I suggest bikes to save time. The splash pad and playground side-by-side were a huge draw for my kids. We will definitely be back at some point.
Nice Park. Very wooded. Gets a little messy when it rains. Nice Beach areas. Nice Splash Pad and Playground. SOME of the Camp Sites are a little tight, but there are some pretty wide ones too. We will visit again.
Awesome spot for families to go to the beach, camp, or just picnic and relax. Well worth the extremely minimal cost.
We had a GREAT time at Hanna Park today! Other than the "weather, " the facilities were suitable and everything was working, that I'M aware of. The pavilion that we rented was great and was in good condition as well.
This is my new go-to beach! Quiet, no cars on beach, ample parking and clean! Well worth the $5 per car entry fee.
Great beaches, plenty of parking lots, lake for fishing, camping, hiking, biking, frisbee golf. You want it, you can probably find it here.
Love this park! Every year when we come down to visit I make it a point to come to Hanna Park. Lots of amenities and activities for the entire family.
The parking was good the beaches were nearby and not crowded. The parking was good. There were a lot of health food or healthy living type of people around.
Awesome little beach spot! Cheap entrance fees for a day of fun. The beach is clean and the water a little clearer than down in Jax beach. Great grill stations all over the park but come a bit early when there is good weather or you may have to wait hours. Great park for sports games with friends and family. Small water park for the kids. I highly recommend it. You can go kayaking if you dare but I have seen quite a few alligators on my last few visits. A lot of great areas to fish and trails to walk or bike. Just an amazing g weekend place to have fun for little money.
Nice county big campground right on the ocean. Lots of trials, picnic areas and a couple miles of beaches. Direct access to Jacksonville and surounding beaches.
It is a nice park, over crowding can be an issue during peak times, my family and I have paid to get in just to drive back out due to no parking spots available, there should be a refund for this.
This was our third trip here if that tells you anything. The spots are spacious and private. The beach access is great. We will be back.
Our first and last time.we have a 33 ft travel trailer and was put in a very small site that barely fit.wont be going back
It's a wonderful place with not only a 60 acre lake (that you can kayak) but also two miles of beautiful beach. Lots of hiking and mountain biking trails too. An abundance of bird life as well as many other critters. Alligators too!
Plenty of tables and grills out here next to a playground for kids. A great place to spend the day or weekend out here with 300 camp sites to choose from!
Do not try to call the place, hide behind their answering service. You never get a answer or call back. Then the booking page is the hardest thing to get to. The office staff will tell you it a new computer system, but it been there for 2 years.
Love Hanna Park. Best all around surf, camping, kid friendly family friendly park in all of North Florida.
Great! Only $5 to drive in. Easy beach access. Nice areas to shower off in covered area. This is good in case of lightning. Great area to park. Good restrooms. Close to decent hotels.
It's an old Park but it has great places to visit the Beach or have picnic. There's a big park with playground equipment and a small water park for kids. You also fish and can go boating.
