BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE BOOKSTORE! As a student there, I love the University, the business program and all my Professors, yet I purchased a few books, with COUNTLESS concerns that I documented with the University staff and college professors, without resolution. The latest is a rental that I purchased on line, fulfilled by the Jacksonville bookstore team and sent to the Fort Lauderdale location for pick up, since the closest location to me (Palm Beach Flagship) location has a manager that shady is the best way I can describe it. So back in MAY, I checked with the bookstore by calling on the 11th when the order was ready and was told that it is open on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. I even checked on Google to get the directions and verified the hours again. Stopped at the campus around 12: 30 PM on Saturday, after driving from Delray Beach (about 40 minutes), and was also told by the front desk that they are open until 3 PM, but then went to the door upstairs only to find a locked door. I then checked with the library person that verified that the door was closed.
When I went downstairs, I was given the excuse of "They were open only during the first week of the summer semester, and that was last Saturday. " When I asked if they were aware that the semester started AFTER SATURDAY on 05/08/2023, the Monday after the weekend they mentioned, oh no that is not how we have it on our calendar. I felt I was treated like an idiot because the from desk personnel argued my position.
Now, June 22nd, the rental is returned because since I never picked it up and had to buy from another vendor, I contacted the company that runs the bookstore, Follett, responsible for the return. As expected, the Keiser bookstore customer service has not refunded any funds and they keep closing the tickets sent from Follett, and cc me on double emails in order to confuse or forget the concern.
I did mention that I will review publicly their treatment, but it seems they LOVE upsetting people that are professionals and do not just throw money at them. At this point, a BBB complaint is going to be sent for them and let's see how they support students (that have 3.91 GPA by the way, in Presidents List of KEISER.)
This was a simple cautionary tale for all you future students out there. Remember, WE pay for our education and pretty hefty if you consider the college loans, THEY nickel and dime for a return of an item never even picked up or used? For shame.

I’ve struggled with committing to school while working on professional goals. Keiser’s accelerated class structure is the simple solution that universities across the country should adopt.
Each and every Professor I’ve had at this school has personally invested in seeing myself and my other classmates succeed. Special shout out to Professor Huber & Smith in the business department. They have personally had a hand in my success at this school and in this program.
I’ve seen some reviews talking about lack of support initially or a bad experience with an admissions counselor. Although, I don’t share that experience as every step of the way has been exceptional here, if you do have a bad experience getting enrolled don’t let it deter you from a good education at a great school!

Haven’t even gotten in the school and I’m super frustrated with all of the staff tht I have come in contact with. I have even spoken with the Director Of Admissions and I’m still waiting for response after leaving more than several messages over a two wk period. Save your time and money go somewhere else.

Keiser University is not a military friendly college. They bill students by the semester and are not flexible when a military student needs to change their schedule even if you give them sufficient notice. Beware they will charge you for classes that you don’t take if you are forced to withdraw prior to the end of the semester.

So, from a faculty member (Even if part time).

This school is different than your run of the mill university (Not talking about the public/private differences).

I cannot speak for the financial aid people, I taught.

There was a student who hadn't been in a Math classroom in 6 years. After he graduated he went into the military. The teachers work *with* you, mind you the more students per class the more difficult it is with the 1 on 1 time. I am pretty sure if you asked for 1 on 1 time you'd get it. Classes run from 9a - 1p and then from 6p - 10p. There is a 5 hour gap where your instructor is there. If you cannot find them go to the front desk (Don't call) and say who you are looking for. Its safe to say that all of us do care; even if they're untimely returning phone calls.

Tried enrolling in this school. Paid application fee, did entry test etc and my advisor just suddenly stopped taking my calls. Literally started off good and then I heard nothing.the last time I had to get a hold of someone and she was trying to help me BUT she was telling me a completely diff story than what the advisor told me. It was alot of run around and I felt like I was being ignored so I stopped calling.

Classes are short but this school has changed over the years. Very unhappy and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I wish I could give this school a 0. The lower ranking staff are great such as front desk people and anyone else who’s job is mainly customer service. I’m talking about Deans and higher ups, these people seem to only care about their image. I’ve had a horrible first impression of this school starting with financial aid. A substantial lack of communication led to a late entrance with no accommodations. When it was brought to the departments attention it was nothing more than a meeting that equated to a bunch of smiling faces with no help presented. By the far the worst school I’ve attended.

From the top down, I am absolutely dissatisfied. I went to Orlando campus & have the impression that all they care about is finances. They unethically enrolled me in courses I had already taken, had to wait for a grade change for over 4 months, kept enrolling me in classes that I had agreed twice to not take because I am active duty Army. I cannot physically be in person due to my situation. This happened twice. I reached out to financial aid this past month twice, I never received a call back from VA representative at this school. Then, I was taken by surprise. Instead of fixing me with a different course that could be online, they completely disenrolled me. I cannot even check Blackboard for past notes.

Keiser is unethical. Just don’t go here. Community college online is way more worth your time and money!

I wish I could give 0 stars they used a service to evaluate my high school diploma then stated that I don’t have a diploma. Total lie because I have had jobs here and I have started school here before. The Agency they use has absolutely horrible reviews and I could not even get an explanation as to what’s the issue with my diploma, the director of financial aid is a very rude lady who acts as if people are below her! The school took my money and guaranteed me something they know I couldn’t have! One star is way too much to give

The school has potential being great but going through the process with them is too stressful. No enrollment should be this stressful and trying to get a hold of them is nearly impossible. Tried to get my registration fee refunded as I’m relocating and didn’t qualify. Tried to get an explanation of why and it’s nothing but a headache and bunch or run arounds. I never received a call back or anything so I gave up they can keep the money and because of this situation and much more I wouldn’t recommend them. There are much better schools in the area than Keiser. Look for a better school who actually cares about their students as Keiser is not this school.
