Ken's Amish Deli & Bakery, Mt Dora FL

Well I'm not critiquing them on their food because they were closed when we went there. It said they were open online but atlas we drove for 36 minutes for disappointment. It's my fault for trusting the internet. Of course the phone is out of order. Kindly remove your ad from the internet so others aren't duped!

Drove al the way there. Closed on a Wednesday at noon. They just must keep whatever hours they feel like on any particular day. Or maybe closed permanently?

I was looking for a lemon pie for my wife's birthday, and this place is just down the road. Tried emailing. Nothing. Tried calling. Nothing. Tried going there during their posted business hours. Nothing. I think this place might be permanently closed or they just don't want my money. OH WELL, Publix is right down the road.

Very friendly staff and lots of cheese and deli meat to choose from (with vegan options). There is also a very nice, little gift shop.

We ordered coffee from them on Feb 12th. We have not received it yet. I tried to call for 3 days and their number is still not working. I would not suggest you order anything from this place

Where else would you get a sausage and drink for under $5?

This place is amazing and should not be overlooked. I came on a non busy Wednesday but I can't see reason for it to be empty, from drinks to desserts, Ken's has it all. Definitely will come back when I take my dog for grooming.

Very nice people but a little disappointed because I didn't notice they gave me chicken salad with cranberry in it. Me and my wife don't like anything with them. Our first time here so we'll be back all the way from Marion Oaks Ocala fl. If the salads was up front we would of seen them. We purchased like 60.00 of food lunch meats, pasty, and different salads.

Best deli sandwiches in six counties. I have been coming here for around six years or more and Everytime I am in Mount Dora for business I try to stop by for lunch.

Absolutely a must go place for delicious lunch meats, cheeses and other deli gems. If you are a transplant from the Midwest you will find a new home to shop things you can't find in Florida. Talk to Ken who owns the place for wonderful stories and soon you will have a new friend. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Will be back often.

Friendly staff but was looking for donuts or pastries for the morning. A few croissants but not much fresh baked that I saw and no donuts. Settled for some frozen cinnamon rolls that needed to be thawed. When the sign says bakery I was looking for something fresh baked. Maybe deli food is better and will update this review if we come back.

Being from an area that has alot of Amish this is sad. 5 meats in deli, a few cheeses and nothing that was freshly baked. The Amish are incredible bakers and would have plenty on hand. Any cakes or desserts are all industrial frozen fare.
THEY DO NOT HAVE DONUTS. At least not on the day I was there.

Been there twice! First time we had bagels. The french toast bagel was divine. This time we had coffee (ok), an apple fritter and a raspberry chocolate scone. Oh my.they were soooo delicious. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture we wolfed them down so quickly.

Enjoyed a good Redbox lunch.bought some good Amish cheese, bakery items, & chips that were made in Stuart Florida. Friendly staff

We loved it.the red box lunches were adorable and yummy. We also bought 2 kinds of lebanon. Bologna, amish root bear, birch beer and red cream soda and a huge creme puff!

Super nice staff! Great variety of Amish goods. They were out of scrapple, but now I know to call ahead next time

Cream Puff Friday did not disappoint! Stopped to have a cream puff and coffee. So delicious! I will be back!

The staff was extremely friendly & the cheese was awesome! I highly recommend & it's worth the drive.

Not as much merchandise as I thought would be there and it was unorganized.
The ice cream was good but not amazing.

Some wonderful pumpkin cheesecake today and they had pumpkin coffee and that was all we had today but we will go back
