If you choose to place one of your rentals in their hands, be sure to have an attorney on standby with a fat retainer. These people will allow your hard earned property to fall into disrepair.
If you are a tenant, do not expect to keep your security deposit regardless of how clean you are. Mark it as a loss as soon as you sign the lease agreement.

I'm surprised they haven't been sued into oblivion yet. Maybe that joyous day is coming soon!

Do not rent OR list your property with this company!
They do NOT maintain your rentals. They won’t do maintenance. They will hire their own “handy man” who illegally install equipment! They will not repair holes, if you try to contact them they will just push you off. The owner doesn’t respond either.

Rented one of their places previously, and they were awful when it came to maintenance. Reporting issues resulted in zero communication/action. The owner of the place I was renting through Kent Strauss Management lost $30,000 in property value through their negligence before selling it for a meager amount.

If you choose to create a rental listing through Kent Strauss, be sure to provide tenants your own contact information so they can fulfill their obligations.

Andrea Lee is one of the most helpful persons I have ever met. She is responsive to calls and emails, and is very kind even during frustrating situations. I am so grateful for her help with a problem on the property that I occupy.
