Kenwood Dog Park, St. Petersburg FL

Wonderful clean, safe park. Only draw back is the noise from the elevated highway. Thanks to all who maintain this park!

Good place lots of good people but sometimes nosy people that try to tell you what to do with your dogs but overall a nice place

Lots of space and lots of doggies! They have small kiddie pools that you can fill up if you'd like and plenty of places to drink and relax in the shade on a hot day, also the local dogs there seemed to be well socialized and very friendly?

This was our first time at any dog park. It was shady and had lots of room for my dogs to run off leash. They had so much fun. We'll definitely visit again.

This dog park is pretty conveniently located close to where I live. So it gets extra points for that, but its not my favorite spot to bring my dog. It has a lot of space for them to run around in so that’s a big plus. However its located under the highway and can be a bit noisy which can bother my pup sometimes. That and there is usually litter lying around somewhere as well. So its not the cleanest dog park either. Overall the people I’ve ran into there are great though and again its got a lot of space for them to run in.

A very large dog park which is nice but sparce in green grass. I gave it a 3 star for where it is located. Underneath the highway.why is that many dog parks are located neat or underneath the highway. I found that the dogs there were very subdued.often when I enter many dog park dogs are very eager to greet you.this was not the case at Kenwood dog park.the loud highway noise causes discomfort in my dog.i surmise that the dogs there were stressed from the highway and hence lack of dog greetings.

Go often, plenty exercise for dogs and humans, I walk laps around park while throwing ball to Zseni my Pointer. Lots of shade and area to rinse dog before leaving.

The only reason I don't give this dog park five stars is because of how noisy it is being located under the highway which I've seen from other peoples' posts. That being said, I've only been here once and pretty much everybody was friendly, and Bella got along with every dog which was great. I tried to get a good video of a German Shepherd that Bella was instigating to chase her (successfully I might add LOL), but I guess my phone was only able to get a picture or two. In any case, I will most likely return here. We really only came because the usual dog-park we go to is currently closed due to re-sodding.

Nice enough dog park but it's under I-275 so very noisy. Separate small/large areas. Like Walter Fuller better.

I love this dog park because there’s never anyone there and my dog has free range to run and a large open space.

Beautiful place, even though you are right downtown. You'll think you're in the countryside, and plenty of shade, mixed with the sunshine! A great place for your fur babies!
