Key Largo Fisheries

We are here on vacation, and I had been searching for good fish tacos. After being let down by another place that was supposed to be good, I found this place! It did not disappoint! The food is amazing (I got the mahi tacos and the fish dip appetizer)! The staff was great, and it had a good atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting good seafood!
*also, I got my food to-go, and even after it was in a box, it was still delicious! I can only imagine how great it is eating at the restaurant!

I don’t know how to explain how awesome this place is. The cafe (around back) serves the freshest and best fish I’ve ever had accompanied with relaxing live music. I was there for a few days learning to scuba dive on my honeymoon and ate there every day. On my last day I was with my wife staring at the menu (sad that it was my last day and wanted to make my last meal great) and the owner happened to walk by and recommend the “lobster philly” I was skeptical getting a philly at a fish restaurant but WOW. He also bought me and my wife a beer! The blackened mahi is also to die for. If your looking for great local food you must come here!

If you want fresh fish and other seafood, including the always delicious Florida pink shrimp, why go to a fancy, overpriced restaurant? Get it right there on the dock. The catch is brought in daily and served anyway you want. Try the stone crab chowder before you dive into the steamed Florida pinks and your favorite filet of today's catch.

Had to stop by after hearing about this place. Great stone crab claws and fried fish. So simple yet such good quality. Definitely worth a visit on the way down through the keys.

This place is great! A nice selection of fresh seafood. We got the yellow tail snapper and some Key West pink shrimp. Both cooked up really nicely on our grill.
The staff were friendly and helpful too!
They also have a restaurant that was jam packed so I'm sure it's delicious as well.

Whether eating in or taking some catch home, can’t go wrong here. Been here multiple times over the past 5 years and the quality is always there.

Absolutely fantastic, I ordered some Stone Crab claws like I have done in the past, this year they included a little wooden mallet which made it so much more.
Me and my wife just had a fantastic time smashing and eating.

Food is extremely delicious and fresh. The water view and atmosphere is very relaxing. Went on Friday afternoon and enjoyed the live music as well.

We stopped here on our 1st day of our Florida vacation, to try the stone crab and were not disappointed. It was excellent fairly priced and the beer was good

Ordered first-of-the-season stone crab claws online and UPS missed the overnight delivery yesterday due to an airplane maintenance issue. I talked to Sabrina and she assured me that the crab would be OK delivered the day after. She said that the way they pack the crab, it would be OK for the two days.

Well, UPS just showed-up and I immediately took the temperature of the stone crab claws. As you can see, they were still at 36 degrees, well under the 40 degree safety temperature. "Stone crab claws stored between 32 and 38 degrees can last up to four days. "

So, thanks to UPS, I got a free delivery of Florida's finest seafood, as Sabrina refunded me the $46.38 delivery charge due to the "Delivery Delay". She will file a claim with UPS and get their money back, too.

This is my second online order for stone crabs this year (April) and I have been to their dockside restaurant several times. Key Largo Fisheries.awesome seafood and double-awesome customer service. I'll be back!

I have been going to the Backyard Cafe since we purchased a house in Key Largo and the food has been delicious and super fresh. However it is my understanding that it is under new ownership and they no longer have the delicious seafood chowder and they switched their French fries. Now the switch of the fries I cannot understand. Why not continue to buy the same ones? Now they are serving the same fries every other restaurant has. Theirs were different and very crunchy. Now the fries get soggy quickly and honestly are worse than the fast food fries. Please bring them back. The seafood is still delicious.

Food and Staff where great. The prices were a little high. They have extra parking in back and they allow dogs to eat on the patios.

I live in marathon, stopped by to grab some fish while traveling, everything was excellent! Very happy with the experience. I will be back!

Omg we can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. We always love it but tonite it is our 32nd Anniv and we were stuck in traffic and called to say we would arrive a minute or 2 after when they closed - and Andy made an exception and hooked us up. We had the best night ever. Tysm!

Great market and restaurant! Bought our fresh seafood on the way down to our VRBO, stopped for lunch on the way back. The stone crab claws were fantastic!

"THE" freshest I've ever had, and quality is superb, I was born and raised in S. Florida so I know fresh seafood. The atmosphere is definitely Keys and wonderful.

I supported because they are locals. The food is marginal and taste and quality. I ordered fried shrimp and lobster bites. Normally never get heartburn, but I did. The cocktail sauce it wasn't for recipe, the coleslaw was bitter. They need a new chef and New recipes

These folks are fantastic. We caught a bunch of Mahi Mahi and had them freeze and ship to our home in Austin. Unfortunately, UPS delivered a day late so the fish had thawed. I reached out to Sabrina to help me file a claim with UPS and she simply replaced my fish next day. If you are in the area looking to ship your catch home - these folks will take care of you. I've never ordered fish online but when I finish my Mahi I will be ordering from them. Wish I would have tried the restaurant.
