Kids S.P.O.T., Pompano Beach FL

The WORST most unprofessional place and people don't bring your child there, neither expect anything good from them not in person or via teletherapy. Horrible service!

I actually started at Kids S. P. O. T. Hollywood, then I was thrilled when they opened their Pompano location and took my son there for a few years to receive ST, OT & PT. During this time, we had several therapists, countless evaluations, etc.and my son always received the most professional and caring treatment. Not only that, but we'd used his evals from Kids S. P. O. T.at his IEP meetings at Public School, and the same goals were used for his ST and OT at school so we were all in the same page and my son made great progress. Both Annie and Kristina (The founders) are very professional and their hard work has paid off since they now have several locations. Joe, the office manager at Pompano, was always nice and helpful and he always dealt with any insurance issue that came up! YES, I had some no shows. YES, I also had a few cancellations from them. YES, sometimes it was some last minute cancellation from either them or me, but LIFE HAPPENS! Once you understand their cancellation policy, including arriving late (SPECIALLY for an evaluation and the implications this brings with the insurance companies) you would understand they do the best they can to accommodate each client!
As my son grew up, so did his needs! I thanked them for their services, for all the years they helped my child grow in many areas of his development and I left in good terms because we all agreed it was time for my son to start a more intensive therapy like ABA both at home and a clinic. But I will always be grateful to all past and present staff from the Kids S. P. O. T.family, both Hollywood and mostly Pompano where I spent countless afternoons during several years! Kids SPOT is part of his journey and for that I'll be always grateful! -Maria

If I can give zero stars I would but I want it let me. This place is terrible every time I go there I try to be on time but because of traffic and I live so far away it’s hard especially with an infant. The staff called me at 2: 30 saying that my appointment was at 2: 30 when I thought it was at 2: 45. I told her that I was right there and she said she’s gonna have to cancel my appointment. I called them back when I was in the parking lot and said cancel my appointment and I’m not coming back. Very rude! Won’t be coming back!

Not many clinics around that offer what KIDS Spot does! The front desk staff is a pleasure to work with, the therapists are top notch and the facility is state of the art. Look no further! Thanks so much for all you have done for my kids!

The lady that works with my son just reads with him a book like I can do that at home I drive far to this place and they do nothing else. People are nice so far but the office staff is not organized at all always canceling your appointment. We was approved for OT for my son but they never makes a appointment to see him and lied and said I needed another referral and saying they are waiting for Doc approvals and Insurance approvals and it just be a BIG LIE! The So called goals they make for your kid going over basic what they already know it takes forever to get to goals that the are struggling with they are not a successful organization I’m done with this place. I would give them a half of star if I could

Worst Place Ever. After a Email to the BBB. Discharged my child from this place. Staff Rude Owner Rude but I am glad now my son is at another facility and WE love it

The office they have in Pompano is Always very crowded with kids of different ages running around while the therapy for babies is in the same place with all other kids. The therapists would never clean the mat or their hands unless I would ask for it, toys- never saw them to be cleaned and babies put them in the mouth all the time. Not too impressed with the attitude either.

This place is not good for kids that is in need of treatment they are very rude unprofessional and far as Joan who's supposed to be over everything he just as worse as the front counter only thing that kept me there was my son's speech therapist teacher Miss Stephanie other than that kidspot at Pompano Mall need new management and a bigger Lobby /waiting area

This place has helped my son so much. His tongue was tired and needed some help pronouncing words and speech really did it for him. The staff is great, the therapist and teachers are awesome. So glad I was referred here.

My child has been going to Kids Spot for the past 3 months, and I am truly thankful for the help the therapist has given my son. He has greatly improved, the therapist are always happy to help and the office staff was able to help me with scheduling. Love this facility.

The waiting room was very dirty when I arrived @9: 30am and the office just had opened at 9. Staff were unprofessional as well.
