Kiki on the River, Miami FL

I recently visited Kiki on the River in Miami, and while the overall experience was decent, it fell short of my expectations. Let me break it down.

Firstly, the location of Kiki on the River is undeniably stunning. Situated right on the Miami River, the outdoor seating area offers breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere. Whether you're enjoying a meal during the day or a sunset dinner, the ambiance created by the riverside setting is definitely a highlight.

However, the service at Kiki on the River left much to be desired. While the staff was polite, their attentiveness was inconsistent. There were times when it took longer than anticipated for our orders to be taken, and we had to remind them of certain requests multiple times. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the ambiance and potential of the location.

Moving on to the food, I found that it was mediocre, considering the reputation of the restaurant. The menu offers a decent selection of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, but the execution and flavors fell short of my expectations. The dishes lacked the vibrant, authentic flavors that one would hope for. They were not bad, per se, but they didn't leave a lasting impression either.

Presentation-wise, the dishes looked appealing, and the portion sizes were adequate. However, some of the dishes were underseasoned, and I couldn't help but feel that they lacked the attention to detail that one would expect from a high-end restaurant.

Lastly, in terms of value for money, Kiki on the River leans towards the pricier side. While I understand that waterfront dining often comes with a premium price tag, I expected the quality of the food and service to match that price point. Unfortunately, it fell short in both aspects.

In summary, while Kiki on the River boasts a picturesque setting and a promising concept, the overall experience left me with mixed feelings. The lackluster service, mediocre food, and relatively high prices prevent me from giving it a higher rating. However, it may still be worth a visit for those seeking a prime waterfront location and a casual dining experience.

Kiki is an absolute experience to remember every time you go. A party, a wonderful dinner, great drinks, and a good time. Those who have never been expect to pay Miami Money when you enter but it really is worth it! I did knock one star off the food because I think the tuna tartare isn’t the best maybe some olives are put in there. With that said it is one of my go to spots for nice eats and i’ll continue to go for years to come.

The best food and atmosphere right on the water! People come on luxury yachts! Their Magician Martin is AMAZING! Highlight of our summer vacation!

Incredibly rude staff. We waited an hour and a half for our table and when we kindly asked about it, we were met with the utmost disrespect and condescendance. The staff pushed us around and screamed at us on many occasions. We will definitely not come back and this experience made it the worst night of all of our trip.

Despite a promising vibe, our experience here was a nightmare. Made a reservation for 10 PM, only to be left standing for two hours with no table. Asked to speak with the manager, got security instead. Horrible treatment. Definitely not recommending.

Over booked, had a reso and didn’t get a text for our table being ready until 2 hours later. Was told to wait inside the restaurant but there was absolutely no where to stand. Everyone (staff and security) telling us to keep it moving with back to back people and even being pushed by staff members. Insane - workers were rude. Will not be going back here LOL

10/10 vibes and food. Service was amazing, shout out to Jonathan for the best recommendations; he completely made our visit to Kiki the best.

Very disappointed in this place, they have a terrible treatment of women and they always treat men like kings just because they have money and they are going to spend, not to mention that men go in search of a piece of meat (women) you cannot walk around nowhere because they push and move you without respect (workers) zero customer service the only thing that matters is your money

It was the perfect spot for drinks and dancing with the ladies! It sits right in the river offering a great view. The drinks were delicious and the music was very diverse. This is a great spot for a Ladies Night Out!

The Worth Service i ever got in My life. I made reservation enough time in advance for 10 am. We waited 2 hours for a table. And they didn’t informed the client that will be the waiting time, they just sent us me and my,

Un respect for the client, and they even dont care when you go to ask about your table, they just care from people are paying 3k for a table, because those client are entering without to wait

Jonathan was amazing, I am a new regular my favorite spot in Miami. Jhonathan service had a huge impact tonight. Love the atmosphere!

Came here for dinner, I got to the entrance and they told me you need a reservation to get in and close the rope on me and the ladies In front of me did not have a reservation, he then proceeded to say we have a $3,000 table open for tonight but like I said you’ll need a reservation I informed him the ladies in front of me did not have a reservation. He then says to tell you the truth I can’t let you in with the tennis shoes you need to have on heels which the site did not say if your going to enforce a dress code put it on your site its unfair and your going to lose customers that way you don’t know how much money I was willing to spending in your business.

I was very skeptical about this place because I saw the reviews and I didn’t want to be disappointed on my birthday however I was happy that we did. The food was amazing and the service was just wonderful. They were able to reseat us from our original spot and the it was a whole vibe. Would definitely come back and highly recommended

My friends and I went to Kiki on the River on Sunday for a birthday celebration after reading the great reviews. Our reservation was for 8: 30PM, we were told to wait for our table by the bar, which we did. We weren't seated until 9: 30PM. After being seated for 30 minutes, I had to flag down a server to ask for our waiter. Our waiter then came over and did not introduce himself, he proceeded to say "I will take your order now". He made it seem like he did not want serve us. We ordered drinks and for appetizers we ordered the tuna tartare and octopus. Our appetizers came out before our drinks and when I asked 20 minutes later about our drinks, the waiter said "it's very busy, we have to wait". So we waited.again. Now at 10: 45PM our entrees and first order of drinks finally come out. For entrees we ordered the sirloin as our waiter said the tomahawk was sold out, we also ordered the bolognese and lamb. The sirloin came out cold, the lamb was overcooked and the bolognese was okay, nothing to brag about. When I asked for knife to cut into the lamb the waiter told me "sorry we ran out of knives". At this point my party and I were very frustrated, I asked how do you run out of knives in an establishment like this? " 20 minutes later.our waiter finally found a knife for me and then had to take my lamb back to reheat it. The food and service was absolutely mediocre and we had to continuously flag a staff member down if we wanted to order more drinks. We also did not receive the dessert menu which we asked for multiple times and ended up just giving up. The only thing we actually enjoyed was the party atmosphere. I strongly recommend only going to Kiki for the party and not for dinner. Management really needs to do better. Also, just an FYI, if you plan on ordering hookah, the price is $195 per hookah. This is good to know as the price is not listed on the menu.

Completely discriminated against at the front door. My friend was told to get a doctors note to come into the bar due to a serious injury and not being able to wear heels. The people working there were extremely rude and dismissive. Would NOT recommend wasting your time.

waited and hour and 40 min for a table and they gave us the worse table they possibly could. The bouncers are very VERY rude! There are way better bars/clubs in the city. Wouldn’t recommend
